I thought you were dead, man. Yeah, sorry about that. It's taken longer than I expected to work out the details with my new host, to finish up the coding (including the new search engine, which I think folks are going to love), and to compile the DVDs that I'll be making available either when the site is launched or shortly thereafter. The good news is that I can pretty much promise that it will be worth the wait: there will be just as much free content as before, and if all goes as planned with respect to the nifty partnerhips we've been discussing, members will wind up getting an even better deal. Thanks for the patience! |

Agreed; a nearly perfect, classic gag, though I know it's just my opinion and preference. Wasted though, on a short and dark scene with dark clothes; especially since, supposedly, Kate runs around for half the movie in her underware in the light (and none of it looks black from what I've seen in caps). |

Many thanks to Steed for his heads up on Selma Hayek and Ashley Judd. I was able to catch the scenes in a late night, or morning, repeat. I have an Aldo store near me and had seen the ads but didn't realize who the actresses were. I have since gone by and videotaped the ads. If Ashley and Selma never get gags in their films I can say I've got shots of them tapegagged. |

Sunday August 14 10:38:35 2005 Are summer reruns fading out? |
A newspaper article by Rachel Leibrock notes that:
"...in this era of DVDs, the Internet and TiVo, our viewing habits have started to change dramatically. Joe Jaffe, a marketing expert... believes that such services may eventually render reruns obsolete. '... the need for reruns will [eventually] be completely marginalized,' Jaffe says. As such, Jaffe says, the networks have discovered summer be an ideal testing ground for new, short-run reality TV series." My take, what the DVD, the Internet and TiVo has given us on one hand with clips/caps, their technology may be dooming the ability to personally catch up to an unexpected DiD scene (or one that you've forgotten to tape), unless the show is successfully enough to wind up in syndication. But even then, we've all seen what can happen in syndication to those "peripheral" DiD scenes... |

Sunday August 14 11:03:29 2005 Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels |
In today's "USA Weekend" "Who's News" column by Lorrie Lynch:
Q: I'm so glad to have a new Janet Evanovich novel about bumbling bail bond enforcer Stephanie Plum. Any further talk about translating these novels to the screen? A: It still looks grim for a Plum movie. Tri-Star, which owns rights to Evanovich's first book, "One for the Money", recently hired yet another scriptwriter. The author, 62, tells us she still sees Sandra Bullock as her brave-to-the-point-of-stupidity heroine, but she thinks Bullock, 41, will "be on oxygen" (no offense to the... star) by the time a movie is produced. So Evanovich fans must occupy themselves with her just-out "Eleven on Top". I'm not familiar with the "Stephanie Plum" novels -- anything of interest DiD-wise thus far? -- or at least scenewise could be adapted as such for a bigscreen laugh? (Naturally, *I* would love to see Sandy as bumbling bail bond enforcer, getting locked in her own handcuffs by her quarry, etc.). |

She has one hand cuffed to her shower rod while stark naked. Book eight ends with a duct tape full treatment for her and her sister. I haven't finished "Eleven" yet, but I'll let you know. Her hooker friend has had a couple of scrapes with ropes and forklifts thru the books, but she's a big girl. |

I remember this well as a young teenager; it use to play on TV and was always poor quality, mushy and grainy. I was in love with Tiffany Bolling ever since "The New People" (TV series 1969); ironically Tiffany was 27 in 1973, and Susan Sennett, who plays Candy, was a year older at 28 (imdb.com). Apparently, for the commentary on the new DVD, Tiffany and Susan were the only ones connected to the film who did extensive voice over and that should be fun. |

I miss the anticipation that used to build when you saw a preview for a scene on the next weeks episode and having to think about it all week long. Then hoping I could get control of the tv (siblings) long enough to see it. For me the "the chase" is still on. There are plenty of scenes to be tracked down on the Internet that I do not have. I was ecstatic several months ago when one of our nice clippers posted an old "Supertrain" scene from the 70's. Thought I'd never see that one again. One that existed only in my memory until then. There is plenty of new stuff too. I'd rather know about a scene than have to wade through hours of crappy tv or movies to catch it. You really want to sit through all those boring drag-on soap operas to catch random scenes? No thanks, I'll take my alerts and save my sanity. |

--- My recollection is that there was an earlier b&g scene where one of her captors returns from a run to the grocery store, and asks her whether she'd like something to eat. A nice touch: He tells her: "This means 'yes' (nodding his head), and this means 'no' (shaking his head). Gagged, she just shoots him a "Go drop dead" look, without doing either. |

For those who may be unaware, in "Liberty", the original airing had a shot with Robin Dearden (sans helmet) being bundled out of the van, which I've never seen in any repeat going back to the mid-'80s. |

You greedy bastards, ever since I posted a message about the LP Bontage 2 I've been getting request to see the Superman and Vanessa Bontages.
I have long since retired the Superman Bontage because as I learned more I became embarrassed about editing and the compression of it. Incredibly hot bondage image, even without a gag. In the same issue, Cori Nadine does a series of photos wrapped up in chains, though not bound by them in any way, but still, nice n sexy. And Tina Rigdon, my vote for the most perfect butt ever, poses for a shot that begs for a manip (listening, Samantha?)
The women of American Curves are sometimes a little muscular for my tastes, but most of them are superbly booty-licious, and the photographer really gets the most out of them. Nice thing is, I pick up copies at Kroger ... apparently, it's not considered porn! |

Actually I was looking for the music to the Superman Bontage which (surprise, surprise) the Theme to Superman.(or something to that effect.) Close enough. While I'm still somewhat embarrassed at the quality of the Superman Bontage I'll give it a re-release as a study in the evolution of my montage making skills, ("From Superman to LPB2: The Story of G-MaN") before I send the master print to ILM to be cleaned and digitally enhanced.
