May I suggest the first two novels of Sallie Bissell? The first one is entitled "In the Forest of Harm", but I don;t recall the title of the second one. They are both thrillers whose protagonist is a gorgeous Native American prosecutor with two equally hot girlfriends, one blonde and the other brunette.
In the first novel, the the prosecutor's two gorgeous girlfriends are abducted by some deranged mountain man, and are bound and gagged TWICE, not once, but TWICE! The first time they are bound with rope and cleave-gagged, and the second time, they are both bound and gagged together with duct tape.
In the second novel, the prosecutor herself is abducted and bound and gagged with duct tape, after having her hair shorn.

The film, a "Survival Horror" flic in the vein of Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Hills Have Eyes, is getting good word-of-mouth in horror fan circles, and is supposed to get a wide U.S. release this fall... So, are there any Aussies here who have seen it? Thanks in advance for any info.

Wanted
I haven't seen mention of last night's Wanted ep, but if I didn't go back far enough, forgive me. There was a recent thread about missed opportunities or something along those lines. I think last night's Wanted was a good addition. There was one scene with a semi-roped sex slave type, but it wasn't much of a scene at all. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but to this beholder, the girl was friggin' hot! I have no idea whether she is actually Russian or not, but damn what a cutie. The full treatment on this lovely young lady would have been better than a fine bottle of Vodka on a cold Russian night and then some.

T.J. Hooker possible edit warning
From the Alerts page:

<<Day: Wednesday September 07 2005
Time: 4:00 AM ET
Channel: A&E
Finally!!! The best scene(s) from this show!!

Title: T.J. Hooker
Description: Episode: "The Obsession" (5.9)

Kidnapped by bank robbers, she is held hostage though most of the show. Handcuffed, hogtied, gagged with white cloth, all while wearing her uniform. The show, which includes closeups, furious struggling and threats by various crooks, has just about everything. >>

It's about time that this episode finally made an appearance. One thing to keep in mind, though: I saw this episode (& luckily taped it) way back on it's original airing in the 80's. Hoping to get an upgraded copy (I had foolishly recorded it in crappy EP mode to "save tape space"!), I grabbed it again when it aired again once it began to show on some other channel (TV Land maybe...on possible even A & E...it was like 8 years ago) and was bummed to find that several scenes had bee edited out. There was at least one of her in the van, tied & gagged, as the baddie is saying they won't hit the bank till "tomorrow night...that'll give me all day to...WORK things out!", as he glances lustily at Heather (and his girlfriend-in-crime glares at him!). There were a couple other minor but glaring edits also.
I'm hoping this coming A & E showing will be intact, and that the shortened episode I saw won't be the only one that is ever shown again whenever the episode runs (a la Lynn Marta's scene on THE ROOKIES, where a complete version is near impossible to find nowadays).
Sorry to be a bummer but just wanted to heads up everyone on this. It of the recent A & E showings HAVE had footage edited out, and since this episode coming up has already been shown before in an edited form, I'm not holding my breath for a complete copy.

I can't remember whether it's 1 hr. 45 minutes or 2 hr. 45 minutes, but that's the general ball park. I rented the DVD and fast forwarded for exactly this purpose (Scene time intel), but I've misplaced the notes. Good little scene though, and at least you can get away with skipping the first and fourth hours.

I missed this the first time it aired on Hallmark, so your alert is appreciated.

With all those scenes, you would think some of us would have some of them! I don't have any myself & I've found few collectors that do. To my knowledge, it's not showing anywhere in reruns.

Check out the site below for a brief history of the show and a small cap of Marie tied up.

Those both sound interesting. I will add them to my list. Since I first posed this question, several of you have given me some really good suggestions. It shows the value of this website. Thanks again to all who responded, and thanks to Brian for a maintaining a very helpful site.

That's very nice, but I don't know if any of these scenes would make it on anyone's else's list at all. This is one of the most subjective things in the world- it's like asking someone what their five best ice-cream eating experiences were.

"Top" lists in other fields are interesting sometimes, because they might be prepared by an "expert" or experts in the subject, who might have some sort of an objective criteria in mind. Then you might learn something from it. Here, I dunno.

"King Solomon's Mines" scene times-the last word
Thanks to both of you who responded. I ended up having to tape essentially the whole darn thing anyway, but never mind. So that any of the rest of you who want to grab it the next time it airs will know, the handgagging is just before the two-hour mark with commercials (if I remember right, this thing was originally broadcast in two parts, which was probably the source of the original poster's confusion). The march through the desert with hands tied in front takes up about the first twenty minutes of the third hour.

Okay, database editors, get going.

(Late reply...sorry, been in the desert for the past week...)

Logically demanded, perhaps, but pretty silly if you think about it. Cat paws are a lot more slender than human hands, so Nastassia would have slipped right out of them after transforming -- and it's a good thing, too, since I rather doubt that you could tie a wild cat in a human-sized spreadeagle without breaking it.

Not that I'm complaining, given the rather nice (if notoriously darkly-lit) execution. :)

My personal favorite is "Killing Suki Flood" by Leininger, upon which I randomly stumbled in a library many, many years ago. Briefly, the teenage heroine is first given the full treatment in a car, then spreadeagled naked and gagged on a mattress to undergo water torture, then later tied and gagged with her hands at her sides, and finally spreadeagled naked once again in the desert to be tortured to death with hot oil. (Don't worry: the side of good prevails.) The later scenes feature some putz interference, though it sounds as though you might consider that a positive, so check it out! (Looks like there are plenty of used copies on Amazon...)

IIRC, the Perils of Marie was not on every week at the D&M Show, but delivered off and on. The ones I recall seeing (as a wee impressionable youngster so I can't vouch for total accuracy):
1) "LOst in the Woods" -- Marie just standing tied to a tree. No real 'peril' apart from boredom of being left there.
2) A scene with guest star Charo with both of them tied on a coveyor belt heading to the buzzsaw. They are sitting on the conveyor with their hands tied in front but they could easily jump off the thing if they wanted to. Lots of "Hey-ulps" from both of them
3) Marie tied to a chair (still loosely) with the walls of the room closing in.
There may well have been more.

Amen to that. Had that been a full-treatment scene (as the plot suggests it should have been, at least with regard to a gag), it would have been in the running for best scene ever IMHO. As it is, it's still pretty damn good. Yow.

LA MADRASTA
The above ended earlier than I would have liked as Maria was followed by her two children who had been bound together last week. Two much of the putz but still some good shots of his wife. Well applied gags as when the wife's gag was removed it had two have been re-rounded around her head a few times to remove. Unlike normal episodes this one started right on the hour rather than five minutes after the hour as is normal. Action showing the gag scenes from Friday started right away, and ended about 8:06. Not as great a scene as I was hoping for but not bad and one of the better scenes I've managed to catch n these novelas, certainly few could complain about the tightness of the gag.

Hello All, seeing as though there's be a lot on the Discussion Page as of late about bondage in books/novels/novellas/fiction etc, let me pose a question. How many of you or your spouses/girlfriends/women or male friends would buy a book, knowing there was something of "our" interest in it.

Obviously, it would not be the same as a commercial DVD, but does it carry the potential "thrill" of a mainstream movie possibility or reading about it in a magazine?

Just to be clear, I am talking about "regular fiction" NOT a paperback such as "Betty's Bondage Adventure," or something of the sort written for the kink crowd. . .which I am happy and proud to be a part of, of course.

Cudos to the Moderator for providing a FREE forum where of of "us types" can hang out and talk about this stuff.

All good things to all of you,

Sure...why not? I've got the aforementioned SVH book with the photo cover, "Let's Go Play at the Adams'," and a number of others. They're just not sitting on my living room shelves, since I don't need the funny looks.

Adina Porter is the actress' name. Decent scene, good closeups, running damsel while B&G. This show is a lot like "24" in that everyone is expendable. The Secret Service pair has already taken out this witness and a priest. Hopefully, Robin Tunney or Sarah Callis will get a nice scene sometime this year.

Episode replays Tuesday night on FOX.
