There may be something tomorrow or within the next few days. I am convinced that some actresses have a "no Damsel In Distress" clause in their contracts. I am almost 100% positive that Kelly Monaco will once again escape without even as much as a rope tied to her. Now I do have a good feeling for next week. Ultra cute Brook Lynn (Adrienne Leon) has been abducted by her ex/stalker & is being held in a meat locker/cooler. The scene would be perfect if Maxie (Kirsten Storms) joined her & both were tied & gagged. |

Anyone not familar with the show, its basically a dating show where one person picks from five others to go on a date.
On today's episode, the guy was training to be a cop and was with one of the better looking female contestants. During the date, he handcuffed her hands behind her back and took her into the police station. Dumb show, great scene. I sure it will air sometime on Friday or during the weekend. |

Looks like an interesting scene to say the least. |

Working on a possible VHS machine alert for Kate Kendall in Stingers: 26th @6am Series+ Agents Doubles, ep: "Harcèlement" - "Angie est traquée par un admirateur fanatique." ___________ Kate Kendall a favourite from her first scene from Stingers. If we got a stalker plot developing, "the crowd going to get back in it here" ;) So any assist on other scenes in the Stingers show will be appreciated. Thanks |

Diane Kay in Starsky and Hutch was one of my fondest memories from childhood. Tied up schoolgirl in a van about to be crushed.
"The Undertaker" movie had a nice scene with Kari Wuhrer well tied and gagged while riding in a hearse. Anybody excited about this new Walker Texas Ranger movie this weekend on CBS? Has Sheree J Wilson and Janine Turner. What are the chances one of them will get the treatment? |

Laura Mars continues to disappoint, not even a tease or any indication that ms.Bell will get roped and gagged. Too bad because all the novels (e.g. Nancy Drew, etc.) once in a while have the heroine get tied up. I have given up on CHARMED. Would luv to see Rose McGowan taste the cleve, but not holding my breath. Who, in this new fall season, do you think, if any, will get tied up? Could it be Lauren Holly, Carla Gugino, maybe president Gina Davis gets kidnapped by terrorists? never know what writers will do for ratings. |

Dear Moderator,
Even if you are the owner of this board, the style in which you dealt with my request was very unappropriate. I'm a valuable contributor to this board with my Jos Dids website, and as such I think I would have at least deserved a NORMAL reply such as "Those are commercial scenes." and not an instant deletion of my post. If you look at bindher's bondage bulletin board, it features some pictures from DID scenes - that's why I was asking if the pictures I posted are from DID scenes as well. In your effort to protect your board, you have offended me. Sorry for the off-topic post, but I had to say this. |

---- Which is why I appreciated Missi Pyle's b&g scene in "Josie and the Pussycats" (2001), which is the only movie example I know of which poked fun at this cliche. I'm not sure how many non-Brian's Pagers got its (unspoken) punchline equivalent to "Oh, I forgot -- I'm supposed to be *helpless* here", so it's nice that the scriptwriting team not only recognized it as a cliche, but threw in a visual joke about it. |

Crystal wrote:
> I am convinced that some actresses have a "no Damsel > In Distress" clause in their contracts. This has been discussed plenty of times here! A lot of people feel that way. I don't believe that there are actual "no bondage" clauses in contracts. HOWEVER, I DO believe that there are a lot of times when the SCRIPT will call for a bondage scene and the actress will get out of doing it. She will say something like "Do I HAVE to be tied up? Can't we shoot it another way?" and the director will oblige. An even more LIKELY scenario is if the script calls for her to be bound and GAGGED and she'll say "Okay, I understand that I have to be tied up, but do I HAVE to be gagged?" and the director will say "No, I guess it's not necessary." Also, the more of a STAR the actress is, the more POWER she has over the production. I take an acting class in Hollywood and one of the first things I learned about the business is that actors have A LOT more power over the script than you would ever imagine. My teacher told us that "The script is just the blueprint. The director is the builder. The actor makes choices as to how to play the role." Put all this together and it makes perfect sense that there are plenty of times when the script calls for the actress to be bound and gagged and it DOESN'T get shot that way. Especially if the actress is a star. |

Friday October 14 13:51:28 2005 The Flash series to DVD |
I just discovered that the entire 22 episode television series of "The Flash" is coming out on DVD on January 10th.
This was not only a terrific tv program if you like comic related stuff like Spiderman and The Fantastic Four, but it had some very nice bondage in some episodes including one episode where one of the lovelies gets bound and gagged twice, and a then brunette and unknown, long before she was 7 of 9 on Star Trek, Jeri Lynn Ryan bound and cleave gagged, with some real nice closeups. I highly recommend this if the material is of the type you enjoy. The show was a lot of fun and very well done. |

Just like I predicted, the no-talent escaped without as much as a threat of getting tie up.
I know it seems cruel to say that, but she's not a very good actress. Actually, not many of the actresses on that show are. Kari Wuhrer & Jennifer Bransford, just to name a few. It's pretty sad when teenagers & 20 somethings are better actors & actresses than people 15 to 20 years their senior. |

Who could forget Jaime King in a delisciously tongue in cheek scene early in the film "Lone Star State of Mind" Her boyfriend is ordered to tie and gag her with duct tape and she protests vehemently, resorting to giving him angry looks once her lips have been sealed.
I can also vaguely recall an episode of British Crime series "The Chinese Detective" back in the early 80s in which a pretty dark haired girl was left bound & gagged in the back of a van. Ithink it was on the beach with the tide coming in. She was kicking and banging on the walls of the van tring to alert any possible passersby that she was in there. |

Friday October 14 18:23:31 2005 Once more, a script idea percolates in my head... |
...and I must come hither to find out if all of you see the same actresses being cast for it as I do.
Okay, let's say there's this elderly lady-I keep seeing Joan Collins; she'd be almost exactly the right age about now, or maybe Elizabeth Taylor. Perhaps Faye Dunaway if we wanted to go just a little younger than...oh, that's right, this is-er, ah, a fictional situation we're talking about here. Anyway, Mom has this middle-aged daughter who's a bit...well, touched, let's say delicately. Kind of like Sissy Spacek in " 'night, Mother," only to a much greater extreme, and also a bit younger than Spacek is now. Somewhere in the Brooke Shields-Bridget Fonda-Jennifer Jason Leigh range. In fact Leigh might be the best fit of those three, having played someone like this in "Single White Female." Heather Locklear? Don't think so; she can definitely pull off the younger bit but somehow I don't see her doing deranged, do you? Maybe we could write in a sister or cousin and use her there. Getting back to our story, let's say Mom and daughter-who's been ordered as part of her therapy to stay away from Mom-have a knock-down-drag-out and daughter goes into one of her episodes, which results in Mom spending the rest of the evening hogtied, duct-taped and on the wrong end of a Taser wielded by her pride and joy. Can't you just see the possibilities here? You could do it kind of like "Gerald's Game"-by the way, what on earth ever happened to the movie version of that which was supposedly going to be made a few years back?-with flashbacks of the pair's stormy relationship punctuating daughter's jam sessions with the aforementioned Taser. In fact, here's a sequence I can envision: Leigh, her malign countenance the picture of pure hate, bending down over a wide-eyed Collins who mmphs and writhes to escape the crackling electrodes coming towards her, intercut with flashback shots of a psycho-strapped Leigh wincing and clenching a rolled-up towel between her teeth as an electroshock treatment is administered. Jump-cut back to the present to catch Collins' moan as the Taser finds its mark once more, followed by Leigh's lips curling into a sneer as she leans in closer and whispers something like "Bite down hard, Mom-it only hurts the first couple of times. At least that's what they always told ME, remember? REMEMBER?" Another sizzling Taser stab from Leigh, another muffled moan and wriggle from Collins, and another flashback of Leigh writhing and jerking in her restraints... Now where should we set this geographically? Hmmm...how about the Pacific Northwest? Maybe somewhere like Seattle where it rains a lot to set the mood. In fact I've got an idea for a working title-"Black Diamond." I think there's a suburb around there with that name, isn't there? Well, what do you think? Collins and Leigh? Dunaway and Shields (although I have some of the same trouble seeing Shields doing crazy as I do seeing Locklear)? How about Blythe Danner/Gwyneth Paltrow? We've needed a vehicle for them to work together; since this is (ahem, ahem) entirely fictional there's no reason we can't play around with the chronology a bit to fit them. And if we're going to go younger with the daughter, how about Charlize Theron? She pulled off Aileen Wuornos well enough to score an Oscar and a first-ballot election to the Hall of Fame as the third actress to win one by getting tied up. Speaking of bound Oscar winners, the second one, Angelina Jolie might be good, too. Winona Ryder might take the role and run with it as well. Then if we open up the mother's role, Glenn Close comes to mind, or how about Meryl Streep? Jessica Lange might not be bad, either. Any other ideas out there, folks? |

Friday October 14 19:02:27 2005 INTO THE BLUE THOUGHTS |
Saw INTO THE BLUE last night. I gotta admit, I liked both the movie and the scene.
The movie itself was pretty fun. Definitely nice to see an action movie that isn't a bunch of CGI effects, but real people doing real things. As for the scene, it was of decent length. True, most of the time we didn't see any shots of Alba's cuffed hands (except when cuffed to the dead guy), but there were some nice close ups of her gagged face. All in all, I can think of worse ways to spend two hours. |

It was on a launching ramp in the London docklands, IIRC. >She was kicking and > banging on the walls of the van tring to alert any > possible passersby that she was in there. I remember she was evidently trying very hard not to laugh as David Yip shoulder-carried her up the ramp. The 1970s Brit series "The XYY Man" had an awesome scene in which the hero's blonde girlfriend was stringently hogtied in the open back of a van, her mouth tightly packed with cotton wool (still dry when extracted) and her lips firmly sealed shut with good old-fashioned white cloth medical tape. She squirmed, gurned and mmmphed, genuinely as the bondage was so good, all through a long fight scene. Another London-set show, from the 1980s, had the hero's daughter(?), played by cute Lisa Geoghan of "The Bill" fame, kidnapped and displayed to him, bound and cleave gagged, in the open side doorway of a van as it drove past at speed. I'll try to find the title, which I think is in the DB under Ms Geoghan's name. An American TV movie, "Nasty Hero", has two gorgeous damsels, a blonde and a Latina, bound and tapegagged in jogging clothes with a putz in the back of a van. Sweaty and claustrophobic, but dimly lit. When the heroes release them, the girls have to run up several flights of steps, trying to pull their very sticky gags off as they go. And what's the title of the movie that has its climax in the Chicago stockyards? A blind damsel presents the most beautiful OTM gagged face, lit to perfection, as a blanket is lifted off her in the back seat of a car. |

I don't think this is the movie you're talking about (unless you're confusing locations), but Union Station has Allene Roberts as a blind kidnap victim in that predicament, early on. Later, she is sitting up in a second car outside Union Station (located in Baltimore or Washington DC, I forget which). |

---- Another superstar mother-daughter pairing would be Goldie Hawn/Kate Hudson. Assuming a movie project doesn't have the $ to hire two "A-list" actress leads, an alternative that comes to mind would be Cheryl Ladd/Jordan Ladd. The two did star together in a TV-movie that had a title along the lines of "A Mother's Worst Fear" -- and what a letdown that was. That's the one, and according to Time Out's review (the most detailed), it's set in Chicago, though not all filmed there. Police stations, vehicles, etc, seem to have been in new York, the NYPD having helped a great deal. One of the kidnappers is trampled by stampeding cattle in the stockyards, which are named as being in Chicago in the opening sequence. Owing to the proliferation of railroad companies and shortage of capital in the early days, lines often shared termini, giving several US cities a Union Station. The one in Washington, is now, I learn, a cinema museum and theatre. |

One confusing thing about Robin Dearden's scene was when she was taken hostage she was wearing a red blouse with a red skirt. The next time we see Robin, she is wearing blue pants, white shirt, and a blue jacket. Did she stay quiet while she was changing outfits ? |

Friday October 14 21:11:31 2005 Kerhop's Kaptures |
This is a one-time announcement that Kerhop's Kaptures will no longer be hosted at derekbarkers.com as of November 1st due to my host being called into military service as you'll see when clicking on the link. I haven't decided whether I'll look for a new host or not, but still have a couple weeks to think about it and the page will continue to auto-update every Mon/Wed/Fri through the end of October.

Ms. Dearden was captured when the tape recorder with which she was secretly recording the villains' conversation inadvertently made a noise. She frantically attempted to rectify the problem, but it was too late. One of the villains stealthily walked over to where she was hiding, and powerfully clamped one hand over her mouth, and one around her torso. She made a terrified "mmph!" sound as she was being captured, but she had not yet been bound and gagged. In the next scene in which she appeared, she was bound and gagged in a racing driver's outfit, her mouth secruely taped shut. The villains had obviously coerced her into putting it on at gunpoint, intending to make her demise appear to be a racing accident. I don't know whether she was gagged before or after she was forced to change into the racing outfit. I'm also sure they didn't afford her any privacy while she was changing, making her change in front of them. She could well have had her mouth taped before she was forced to change clothes, as a precaution against her screaming and alerting people to her predicament. |

Did you see "Fatal Error"? I went to the cbs site (URL below), & based on the blurb, it looks like they dug out two unproduced "Walker" scripts & decided to make a "movie". Janine plays a CSI-type character & her sub-plot looks less promising than Sheree's---but hey, this is Walker. Kidnappings & hostage-taking can break out like for little or no good reason (other than to give Walker someone to rescue). "When you're in Texas look behind you, 'cause that's... where the Ranger's... gonna be." (Apparently, it's a creepy police state, with cowboy costumes.) :-) |

Thus, the premise is another seasonlong mystery that should be resolved during May sweeps. However, I'm not sure that ratings are any better this season than they were last year. I'm guessing not because the show is on the same time as "Lost," which doesn't seem to be losing any steam. For those hoping for a DiD scene, I offer this: One of the main characters is supposed to meet his or her demise early in the season, possibly in the next episode or two. No idea if that will involve the subject of interest, though. |

Not tied up, but an intense scene nevertheless. Could involve bondage this season. |

I think what disproves this theory more than anything else is that Alba, who has done alot of B&G scenes seems to have done a script change in the middle of "into the blue"...that was just a spontanious reaction to the original scene, and her as an actress thinking she could comprimise a change in the scene and make her work, the movie, better. |

Kerhop, you've been around from the beginning and your sites was always one of the best. Your updates were consistent and you always managed to throw in new scenes that I didn't have. Thanks a lot and I really hope you get a new host. |
