MONDAY, OCT. 10 Musical guest Olivia Newton-John; fashion trends for fall; bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman and his wife, Patti Smith. We know how Meredith Vieira seems to have a thing for handcuffs. Maybe she'll allow Dog to demonstrate handcuffing techniques on her. Maybe full shackles. Maybe a gag to go along with it. Go Meredith. |

Plus, I did a little research and found out that the executive producer was also the executive producer on "The X Files" so this explains the "Mulder and Scully" type relationship on the show. I agree that these days, a show has to start with a bang or else it's cancelled, but a show like this might stay on the air if it can cultivate a small but intense following. And a show like this is just the type of show to do just that. |

But old man is really weird. He started to see some dead girl in a red dress whilst peeping on Melania putting on her bra. Appears he starting to snap. Looks good, but given this soap's history figure wait until viewed the clip to decide if post a "Sorta-Possible VHS Machine Alert" |

I'm a big fan of Meredith and didn't realize she was a fan of handcuffs,was there a thread about her love of handcuffs and I missed it ? if so would someone please share where I can read about her love of handcuffs ? |

She's been handcuffed on the show before and apparently even gagged, and there have been "hints" such as dressing up as a domanatrix for Halloween, etc. Obviously don't know for sure if she REALLY has a thing for them. Years ago now, someone mentioned that she was handcuffed by a policeman at the very end of an episode. I don't recall all the details, but it was apparently done during the commercial break. When they came back for the end credits, Meredith held up her cuffed hands and said, "You've gotta love a cop. He handcuffed me!" |

Just to throw a little cold water on our speculations here, after she came out dressed in the dominatrix outfit, she made a comment along the lines of "Does anyone here actually find this outfit sexy? I don't." Remember, she got paid for wearing the outfit. It's not like it was her choice. |

I already have visuals of Meredith Viera and Olivia Newton-John being cuffed and interrogated...It would be really nice if Monday's "The View" bore out at least a taste of what "we" have a taste for... |

There was one episode where her fellow panel members had her "arrested" at the end of a show. I saw that one. I ran the tape when I saw it happening. I had it. And I went and recorded over it accidentally. There was the one where a cop comedian handcuffed her, and she held up her hands and made the remark,"You gotta love a cop, he handcuffed me." I didn't see it. But apparantly, there was a nice close up of the cuffs on her wrists. There was the dominatrix one, where she had a pair of handcuffs dangling from one wrist. She tried to take them off and had trouble doing it. (I saw it, but didn't get it on tape.) There was another where she handcuffed herself to Barbara Walters. I saw that one, but no tape. I've heard of another one where to kick off an piece on alcohol abuse, she was handcuffed to a bottle of rum. |

There's at least one episode where the camera catches her running down a staircase at *just* the right speed... & the resulting sympathetic oscillations are *very* entertaining. The problem is Sam's usually wearing BDUs & a patrol vest/body armor. JUST ONCE I'd like SG-1 to visit the "Planet of the Metal Bikini Amazons", & for the natives to *insist* that Sam change into "appropriate attire". :-) Seriously, these are publicity photos, *not* manipulations. |
