That's a cool twist. It lets the actress have a speaking role, yet still be bound and gagged. Excellent!

Normally I'd scoff at having any hope at all, but this may actually produce something. WWE has a large writing staff with a bunch previously working in hollywood and (gulp) soap operas (much to the dismay of some hardcore wrestling marks) and this shows especially on RAW. Last Monday they finally had Linda McMahon turn heel by screwing J.R. This reminds me exactly like some of the power hungry families on many many soaps... I'd love to see Trish fall into the clutches of Mickie James (you know she's gonna turn, that is, if you watch wrestling) but I don't think Trish will be the one in ropes. She's (Mickie) gonna go after Ashley. She will be jealous of their...friendship/relationship... and since Ashley doesn't possess the skill Trish has she's easy prey. But I would really like to see Trish the damsel in distress.
And don't expect anything to happen by next week. We're not talking about a Triple H turn! This could get drawn out over the course of months.

Loosie gags
The gag looks good to me and the scene looks above average. It does not look like it is falling off. Hate to tell you but thin tight gags have very little effect. They do not work well at all. I have gagged a lot of girls with all kinds of gags and most cleave gags are really pathetic. I still like them , but the truth is there kind of just for show.

For favourites,
say this one:

Record number: 8036

Title: Pure Fiction (1998)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Raphaelle Bruneau

Description: Roughly 50 minutes into the film, Raphaelle is seen bound hands behind, ankles together in the back of a van. Gagged and blindfolded with black tape.

Wearing a mini-skirt.

The Closer
Mr Mod, apologies for bad link on previous post about the Big White.

The Closer has just begun airing in the UK and I remember there being talk on here about Kyra Sedgwick getting a full treatment scene- does anyone have the episode title/number as it doesn't appear to be in the database?

Thanks in advance

Here from Editor Notes:

Ref dates favour ep: "Fantasy Date" (1.6),
but there some thing with the United States air-scheds that time gave the boy here a problem:

Here around *roughly*

ep: "Flashpoint" (1.5)

"When a psychiatrist involved in the trial of a new drug is found murdered, it's up to Brenda and the team to put the pieces together.
Brenda finds herself up to more of a challenge when pieces of her past come to light in the news, which causes a suspect's nasty secrets to come to the surface."

and

ep: "Fantasy Date" (1.6)

"While investigating the murder of a U.S. Congresswoman's daughter, Brenda discovers a dirty little secret that puts her own life in danger."

[Ref Quote]"Action occurrs in the opening 15 minutes. Kyra is gagged on screen from behind in her apartment, great startled look as the tape is applied. She's then thrown to the ground and we get more great closeups of her gagged face.

The duct tape is on really sticky on the lips. They struggle a bit and the guy tosses her on the bed. More good closeups, but then she pulls her gun out from underneath, ungags herself and kicks him off. No bondage, but a very nice scene, with good mmmppffing as well."[/Ref Quote]

He means that they aren't spending 2 years of work and 180 million dollars just to have an excuse to tie Ms. Jones up.
Their priority is to make a movie for the 99% of the world that wants to see a plot, acting, and special effects, and are not going just to see a 2 minute bondage scene.

Saw her on the promo last night. Let's hope a gag finds those lips real quick, although not likely. None of the CSI regulars or Trace regulars have had a full-treatment scene in those shows. Tonight, her and Poppy pose as lesbians, I think, as Poppy kissed her on the cheek, for those into that.

Obviously. Did I say otherwise? So why does that mean that we can't still hope for a scene?

Upcoming Films
Well, things are looking good since so far this year we've seen Jessica Alba, Holly Hunter, Ashley Judd, Christina Aguilera, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz and others in one form of bondage or another. Here's a list of upcoming projects from desireables that will hopefully give us something:

JODIE FOSTER will star in THE BRAVE ONE about a woman who goes out on a quest for vengeance after a brutal attack.

VIRGINIA MADSEN will play a kidnapped wife in the Harrison Ford film FIREWALL.

KRISTANNA LOKEN will star in the sure-to-be-crap BLOODRAYNE.

LARISA OLEYNIK (of ALEX MACK fame) will star in the TV series PEPPER DENNIS featuring REBECCA ROMIJN (no longer STAMOSed!) about an ambitious reporter with her sights set on anchoring Chicago's top-rated evening news broadcast. It's a long shot, but at least Larisa's working again! I've been dying to see her get a scene!

Hopefully ELIZABETH BANKS will get a scene as Betty Brant in SPIDER-MAN 3.

PATRICIA HEATON will star in the THREE STOOGES (!) movie. Another long shot, but it's Patricia, dammit!

EVA LONGORIA will star in the thriller THE SENTINEL with Kiefer Sutherland, who is not stranger to rescuing kidnapped women. Speaking of Kiefer, hopefully SARAH WYNTER will return in the 5th season of 24. It's very possible. And hopefully she'll get the full freakin' treatment this time!

That tape gag has definately got me interested in this movie now. I don't like cleaves but now with tape also I'll be keeping an eye on this movie. Looks like something for everybody :)

The actress who was bound and gagged in this episode, Christie Lynn Smith, is already a cutie; the director merely decided to have her dressed sexily, and the garmetns that were available were a camisole top and briefs. I wonder whether much thought was invested into deciding what Ms. Smith would be wearing while bound and gagged? I also wonder whether she was asked to produce her own choice of skimpy attire?

I missed the first 10 minutes, but after I tuned in I saw "Skye" (Robin Christopher) no longer bound and no longer a prisoner. However, something may happen soon with "Sam" (Kelly Monaco.) She and "Jason" are in the clutches of some criminal. Jason is handcuffed to a chair, but she is not bound (yet.) There may be something tomorrow or within the next few days.

Smallville
a very minor scene for Chloe (Alison Mack) tonight. She gets abducted a little past the :20 mark. Not much of a scene as she is simply being forced to the guy's motorcycle. Next time we see her it appears that she's tied in a chair, hands behind and ankles together. No shots of the ropes, though she is struggling to free her hands. A short while later, she is shown from the front again struggling and this time she gets her hands free but we still don't see any rope, not even the discarded rope. Quick shot of her bending down and untying her ankles. Dark-colored rope does not show up well against her black pants. And that's it. No gag or hand gag.

Okay, okay, sorry if I seemed to be dumping on *you*. :-)

I was making one of my periodic *general* statements. Too many people post statements that seem to reflect the opinion that movies or TV shows are "failing" them or are somehow "flawed" because they treat bondage as if it was peripheral to their endeaver. I was pointing out that in almost every instance... IT IS peripheral. Very few projects are *about* bondage. Even if there are strong Damsel-in-Distress elements in the story, bondage is often loosie or stereotyped because, lets face it, most productions *are* flawed. Most made-for-SciFi-channel original movies suck, not because science fiction sucks, but because the filmakers involved suck. Also, loosie scenes are often a result of well-entrenched cliche/stereotypes of bondage. I'm not defending them, just noting that it happens. "Lots" of stuff in lots of different genres descends into cliche. Remember when slo-mo fight-scenes with bullets whizzing by & leaving conical shock wave trails was fresh & new? In other words, remember when "The Matrix" was new? Remember when Velociraptor dinosaurs were fresh & new? Lots of stuff descends into cliche... even duct tape gags & hands-in-front bondage.

"Bound", "The Collector", "Perils of Gwendoline", "Story of O"... mainstream bondage movies exist, but the producers, directors, & cast would probably say "Bondage movie?? HELL no!! My movie was a study of flawed characters, or obsession, or a sexy homage to an old comic." Okay, "Gwen" is an exception. It was *supposed* to be non-stop bondage, but apparently creative differences made most of it go away. Anyway... Most movies with DiD-scenes with bondage are exactly what their creators wanted them to be.!!

I've made the analogy to car chases before, & I'll try again now. Lots of productions have car chases, but only a very few are *about* car chases. ("The Fast & the Furious"?) Some productions have scenes where characters get into cars & drive away, & one car follows the other for a while, & right at the end of the scene a brief chase happens. If a Brian's Car Chase Forum existed, people might complain that the chase in question sucked. They might be right, but if the producers were contacted, they might answer: "Who Cares?? That's not what was important. The dialogue in the back seat of the lead car was the point of the scene."

Anyhoo... Sorry. ;-)

Anyhoo... Sorry. ;-)

No need to be sorry Van. I understand perfectly that mainstream movies are not about bondage even if it has a scene. However, that doesn't mean that they can't make a bondage scene good if they are going to have one. And, it doesn't mean that we can't hope for a scene in a movie/TV show that has possibilities for one. And it doesn't mean that we won't get upset if a scene is lousy or there is no scene at all. That's just human nature.

Re: Vechicular Dids
An excellent scene featuring a young actress is Katie Stuart in Frog and Wombat. In the rear seat floor of a Volvo sedan, Hands tied in front, and tied to her thighs, ankles tied and a fairly tight blue bandanna cleave. The kid was a good actress! Great struggling and emoting, as well as crying and 'mmmmph'ing. And best, she manages to free herself and bean her kidnapper (Who is also her Jr High principal) with a bottle.

The movie is a comedy, and a kid's movie at that, so it was an unusually intense scene for that type of movie.

Minor is an overstatement. It didn't even look like the rope around her legs was tied and I have more trouble taking off a shirt then she had getting her hands out of those ropes (which you don't see). And with no gag this barely even counts as a scene.
