Saturday October 22 00:34:30 2005 BLIND WITNESS |
As one of the posters wrote its a movie. It's not real. Victoria Principal is not blind. Stephen Macht is not her husband. He's not really dead. It's a made up story designed to entertain. When we go to a STAR WARS movie we all know none of it is real and that it's the magic of special effects. But that doesn't keep us from enjoying the movie. When we watch a movie we make a pact to suspend belief and believe this is all real. So why are so many people stressing out over whether the gag is real or not? In a made up story do we expect the one thing in the story to be totally authentic is the gag? All I ask is that the gag is realistic enough to make me suspend belief and believe the damsel is truly silenced. And the gag in the above movie is truly realistic enough for me to believe. Whether she can really talk through the gag, or how sticky it is on or whatever pet complaint you might have about it is immaterial, it works for the purposes it was designed to work. Hell even in real life people don't do a good job of binding and gagging. How many times have you read, in a news account about someone being bound and gagged, where shortly after the robber leaves the victim worked their gag free and called for help or they managed to free themselves. I think sometimes we have to stop and tell ourselves this is not real, and just enjoy what we have. |

> spoiler for Young and the Restles says Shiela does
> something to Lauren again..Does anyone know anything > about this?..It is supposed to be happening soon. It seems like ol' Sheila has sent Lauren a poisened neckless. It didn't kill her, but put her in the hospital. According to the spoiler site today, she's put one of her sleazy friends to the hospital to retrieve it so it won't get traced to her, and he gets caught red handed. So, we'd assume that he'll spill the beans and Shiela get's arrested. But, since November - sweep months is almost upon us, I don't think that's likely. Sheila will probably be at large through the next month, perhaps on the lam with Lauren in handcuffs, blindfold and a gag. We can hope. |

The obvious difference between a Star Wars movie and a bondage scene is that we don't go to a Star Wars movie for the purpose of getting aroused (unless you are in to Wookies or Natalie Portman). Bondage fetish-people are not often watching tie up scenes to enjoy them for their artistic content (nor is the show itself that important), they have another purpose. To the extent that unrealistic scenes spoil the illusion and prevent guys from getting off on them, that's a problem (I guess). All I ask > is that the gag is realistic enough to make me suspend > belief and believe the damsel is truly silenced. And the > gag in the above movie is truly realistic enough for me > to believe. Everyone has different believabilty requirements. They vary from person to person. If you are trying to say that some people get carried away with the whole thing, well...no foolin'. If you let your interest in arousal-via-bondage become too important, it wouldn't be surprising if your sense of proportion were altered as well. |

Well to be fair in real life a majority of criminals are usually pretty stupid on all fronts. Poor binding and either no gag or a weak one are common. Heck most real life criminals don't even bother to wear masks or gloves :\ |
Saturday October 22 02:26:56 2005 Holy Grail |
For those who might be interested,
I purchased the 1st season of "The adventures of Superman" DVD. On disc #1 are the often mentioned Phyllis Coates scenes (Broken Statues and Night of Terror). The "Broken Statues" episode does in fact contain the deleted scene where Lois is forced to the floor of the car while the cops talk to the bad guys about why the getaway car won't start. This box set can be had from Wal-Mart for approx. $30. Just thought I'd let someone know. I did make some caps but they're 2.25mb (I'm new at this capping thing) and I don't have a web page to post them to, so maybe somebody can suggest a way to post them somewhere. |

Just a heads up that the excellent scene in "Mi Destino Eres Tu" has begun (see 5311). On Friday AM, Natalia Streignard was already captured and trussed up, leading to the main part of the scene which should continue on Tuesday/Wed AM. |

Saturday October 22 13:17:14 2005 Human Trafficking on Lifetime |
Starts Monday at 9 AM - haven't heard anyone mention it. Mira Sorvino goes undercover on this - maybe some possibilities, but mostly looks to be wrists bound in the front. May be worth checking out. http://www.lifetimetv.com |

May be worth checking out. http://www.lifetimetv.com I just read a description of it. It refers to her original attempt at entrapment failing. You may want to correct your time; I don't think it's 9 a.m. |

Is moving in the right direction (see picture from their website below). Also, they are rolling out racier window displays which sometimes involve bondage. |
