If I recall correctly, after the rescue she also had some very authentic looking rope burns on her wrists. One of my all greatest frustrations, I think I must have scanned the vhs three times thinking I missed something. |

This show has Lana, Chloe, Lois or a guest female star in jeopardy almost every episode; which is good, and bad. Don't think the writers would tie them with gags everytime. But I must say, Lana is way, way overdue for a gag. They did say we would see it all this season, didn't they? |

Episode of the Green Hornet when Wende Wagner as the gorgeous Lenore Case is taken captive aboard a yacht. The head crook says she have to remain a gest in one of the staterooms below deck "gagged and tied, I'm afraid."
Never shown and when Hornet comes to trade something for her, she's brought out unbound. I always wanted to see her get the full treatment and this tease was as close as she got. |

Ah, let me recall one of my favorite examples of this.
As a fan of Carrie Fisher, I watched the obscure film "She's Back" years ago. It features a scene where a group of thugs break into her home. At one point the thugs drag her into a room and although it's difficult to hear, one of them yells out, "Tie her and gag her!" She puts up a struggle and escapes briefly, only to be killed by the thugs. :( So near and yet so far! This one could have been a contender! |

Friday October 07 12:59:35 2005 New Show |
I just found out that sexy ass black girl Gabrielle Union is starring the new ABC "Night Stalker". It's one of those "creepy" new dramas about paranormal that seem to popping up everywhere. I got a chance to see an epidsode yesterday and the show has a very "X Files" feel about it. Anyways, Gabrielle plays the "Scully" of the newspaper reporter tagteam. She is always skeptical of her partner's theories about strange events around LA that they cover in their newspaper. Anyways, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the series b/c I really think it could give a scene this season with sexy Gabrielle getting captured like Gillian did back in the day. I will keep an eye on it and I invite everyone to do the same. Gabrielle is a definitie cutie. I would love for her soft luscious lips to be taped over with some semitransparent tape. |

Unfortunately, if she's in a scene it better come soon as the ratings for Night Stalker have not been very good. Networks are becoming very quick at pulling the plug on the new shows this season that are not doing well. While in the past most new shows would be given a leash of six shows to find an audience now its down to just two. Some good news if you like that genre the WB's "Supernatural" has been given the greenlight for a whole season. |

Title: One Life To Live Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Holly Gagnier Description: It wasn't that great of a scene. The bad guy breaks into her place, and ties her hands with a long piece of cloth. She is giving him an earful, until he lets slip that he intends to do her in so she can't hinder his escape. Then she begs him to leave her tied and gagged, but then somebody else shows up and spoils the party before it can get really interesting. |

Hopefully, ABC will stick with the show for the entire season. Also, from zap2it.com, "NCIS," 10.6/17, scored one of its biggest audiences ever to win the 8 p.m. hour by a wide margin Tuesday. Maybe they should bring back Special Agent Cassidy (Jessica Steen) and tie and gag her again next week, this time in a little better lighting. |

Title: Hit the Ice (1943) Medium: Movie Actress: Elyse Knox Description: In this funny Abbott and Costello flick, pretty Peggy Osborn (Knox) goes into the villain's office and tells him she's quitting being his nurse. There's a knock on the door and one of the henchmen handgags Peggy and drags her away mmmmphing and struggling. Henchman returns a bit later and is asked if he had trouble tying her up (not shown, dammit). _____________________ Recall him saying that next time they should get a nurse who doesn't bite |

There is an episode of "The Incredible Hulk" where David Banner (Bill Bixby) and someone else got bound and gagged and put in a car that was about to be crushed in a junkyard. Of course, he turns into the Hulk and saves himself and the other person. I saw it when it first aired. Years later, after I started recording scenes, I remembered this episode. I also remembered that Loni Anderson was in that episode. I thought "was Loni bound and gagged with Bixby in that scene?" Finally, I saw it again (on the sci-fi channel I think) and not only did it turn out that the other person was NOT Loni Anderson, it turned out that it was another guy! Loni Anderson IS in that episode, but she played a villainess. Talk about scene creep! |

I have a pretty recent one. An episode of the spanish novela Rebelde (back in early May, this was) almost had a classic. Two girls (Dulce & another actress) grab red-head hottie Pilar and throw her down on the ground. Dulce takes off her tie (all are wearing school girl outfits) and she pins her arms behind her back while the other girl holds her down. I'm thinking, 'oh man here it comes.' But instead of binding her wrists she starts to move towards her head with the tie and I'm really pumped thinking she's gonna gag her but instead she wraps the tie around her neck and continues her threats... then another girl enters and spoils the fun.
While it was a pretty cool scene for what it was, I couldn't help but be frustrated. If only.... |

Friday October 07 17:33:01 2005 frustration and more frustration |
I remember one episode of Remington Steele, involving two ingenues (I can't remember if they were twins, but they werre true babes)who are left alone in the apartment with the older female secretary. When Steele and (sorry, I forget the female lead) return, Steele opens a bedroom door, immediately closes it, and asks (female lead) to "come here" Fade to commercial. When the show returns, all three females are wearing towels and rubbing their wrists, the implication being that all three were stripped, tied and gagged (Steele makes a gentlemanly point of saying he had averted his eyes). Turns out later in the show that the "burglar" was herself female. The suggestibility of this scene alone makes it a classic, but wow, it could have been great. |

I think Ms. Union is a total hottie & would give my eyeteeth to see her tied & gagged in any way!!! |

Adding to the frustation scenes database:
1) about fifteen years ago on OLTL: Tammy Lynn Amerson is captured by a prisoner named Blade. He says he isn't going to hurt her. She asking him "Aren't you going to tie me up ?" He says "No". 2) Early Edition: Sherry Miller is captured by an con artist. He forces Gary and his friends to steal a painting. At the end of story, the con artist says she is tied and gagged in the van, but the audience never sees her. We only see her after she has been rescued and untied. |

There's a STARGÅTE SG-1 episode that makes me grind my teeth: "Deadman Switch" (3.01). In it, the entire SG-1 team (incluging Sam, of course) are captured by an alien bounty hunter played by Sam Jones ("Flash Gordon", "The Spirit"). Without boring everyone with details, he sends the guys off on a task, & keeps Sam (Amanda Tapping) as hostage. As soon as the guys leave & they're alone, he turns to Sam and says...
"I'm not going to have to tie you to a tree, am I?" ...& Sam shakes her head. AAAAARGH!! Tie her to a tree & *then* talk about it!! AAAAARGH!! Come to think of it, *every* STARGÅTE SG-1 DiD-scene is an exercise in frustration. Oh, Sam, you *tease*! {Sigh} |

In Evil Roy Slade, a comic western, there is a scene in which a gaggle of bridesmaids are getting ready for a wedding when a scruffy band of outlaws bursts in on them. Next scene has the outlaws at the wedding, disguised as the bridesmaids (and looking completely ridiculous, even for a comedy). And that was it. I kept waiting for them to cut back to the roomful of writhing bound and gagged bridesmaids in their 19th-century underthings whom the outlaws had to have left there, but nothing. |

Friday October 07 22:59:08 2005 Masters of the Universe DVD |
Fans of animated bondage might want to check out the "Best of He-Man" DVD, I picked it up chea[p at Walmart and was well worth it.
It's got three excellent episodes, including the famous Teela tied and gagged by vines scene. This scene is a lot better than the DB entry makes it out to be, shes tied throughout the entire episode, with two other female characters. Theres also another episode not in the DB called Teela's Quest, where she is tied hands behind back and then chained arms over head. I'll have to add an entry. Theres also Teela's Triumph, where the female villainess is tied and detective gagged. Excellent quality, and the DVD has trailers for the entire 150 episode DVD set that are coming out later this year. |
