This isn't completely true; the later scenes had the detectives discovering photographs of women bound and gagged with duct tape. |

Saturday November 19 10:03:21 2005 Good scene on The Batman |
Record number: 11703
Title: "The Batman" (2004) Medium: TV Series Actress: Gina Gershon .... Catwoman (voice) Description: Episode: The Laughing Cats" #3.6 Catwoman is captured by the Joker and tied up hanging by her hands. A tarp is removed from the machinery directly below her revealing a deathtrap; a big set of nasty smiling teeth ready to chomp on her once she is slowly lowered into them. Her hands are tied together above her and her ankles are tied as well. She is not gagged. She wears her "Catwoman" outfit ...natch |

Saturday November 19 10:08:48 2005 Power rangers S.P.D. alert |
toward the end of th 10AM EST Power rangers episode all the rangers including the way hot blond and the spicy brunette are captured.
There is a decent scene of the girls being bound hands behind. They are then shown with their hands shackled in front being put in a cage with the Big Blue Doggie (don't ask). Unfortunately the putzes get all 99% of the shots shackled. might continue in the 10:30 episode. will add to the DB later |

The impression I get of it is that a scene is extremely unlikely. She's not a crime solver like Medium, just helping ghosts get issues resolved. |

It seems to me that some crime/danger/peril is practically inevitable. I could easily see her kidnapped by some psycho or cultist or person with a ghost fetish or have her gain ghostly info that puts her at risk ie "ask Big Louie the Tuna's ghost where he hid the money or Else" ...lol |

But again, thanks for entering this. I saw it, but I'm at a point where unless a sequence is really attractive to me, I don't bother with it. |

Saturday November 19 16:02:21 2005 Desperate Housewives this Sunday |
"The Sun Won't Set"
The neighbors are panicked about the intruder loose on Wisteria Lane, Susan learns shocking news about her father at her mother's wedding, Bree's "engagement" to George hits a bump, and Gabrielle learns to let go. __________ A repeat? |

We all thought the advent of cable would mean 100's of channels of content, but... (1) Giant Media Corporations (GMC's) wind up owning huge families of channels, so new generations of the same suit weasels who've been running the pilot system since the days of only three networks (+ PBS) are *still* making the decisions. (2) The GMC's realized that all those reruns gathering dust in their vaults can squeeze additional revenue from people who have never seen "Doogie Houser, M.D." & other timeless classics, & all are cheaper than paying for new syndicated product. Our only hope: the technology will mature to the point that the GMC's have no choice but to produce new business models. |

---- I'll admit I'm not really familiar with what *are* syndicated programs. Which were the most DiD-prolific ones? E.g., were some of the following (other than "The Lost World") favorites of Brian's Page syndicated?: Xena, Warrior Princess Hercules Amazon |

Saturday November 19 18:19:05 2005 Lava |
A post on another forum reminded me of a great British film scene from about 4-5 years ago "Lava" in which Nicola Stapleton spends much of the movie tied and gagged.
Unbelievably it doesn't seem to be in the databank but i've managed to track down a copy on the net, so when i've had a chance to look at it again i'll submit something. Don;t tell me you guys missed this film, it's a gem! |
