New Into the Blue ad
There's a new ad on TV for Into the Blue that shows Jessica Alba ripping the tape off her mouth. I'm lovin' it!

I just checked my tape and it had two spots. The first was a quick one on NBC from 8-9 and the second a longer one on the WB from 9-10. Nothing with Alba in tape, just a couple shots of her swinging in the gally area, likely after getting loose from the guy she was cuffed to.

Also, "Into the Blue" "on the set" feature is running all month on the Starz cable channels. It's 15 minutes long. The only shot of Alba B&G is the clip from the first trailer where we see her in the bottom corner when Brolin says "give me the coordinates." This clip runs about a second longer than the trailer, so you see Alba a little better in the background tape-gagged but it's lightning fast.

I've recognized the scene named dr.gag414, which is from episode 16 and 17 of the police drama "Bay city cop". Stay tuned for the name of the actress.

Gagvision site was a great source of information on japanese tv shows. Unfortunately is not updated since april. In the meantime I suggest the "d's club" site, in japanese too, which link was put on this forum by JayL a couple of days ago.
By the way actress name is Hidemi Ishikawa.

You're right! I just checked the database and it shows that she was tied up twice on that show, and GAGGED in one of them. I have heard of the show and in fact I recorded it a few times (hoping for a scene) when it was on but never saw either scene. Thanks for pointing this out. That means she has been bound and gagged 6 times.

There is a movie on TCM tonight at 6p est. called "On an Island with you". The description is as follows... A naval technician kidnaps a starlet on location in Hawaii. made in 1948
the 2nd is The perfect neighbor. It just came out on dvd. It is with Susan Blakley and the premise is A disturbed woman moves into a neighborhood, gets a crush on another womans (Susan blakley) husband and has to figure out how to get rid of wife.
Anybody have any clues to these movies?

Further investigation
The movie On an Island with You, It stars Ester Williams and Peter Lawford about a Naval Lt. working on a swimming movie as a Tech advisor, Peter Lawford believes Ester would be a better of with a boyfried like him. That is it, So the chances are very nil anything will happen.

Can you describe the set up? Reason is the tape-gag looked like a wrap gag. Did she peel it off or pull it down under her chin?

It is a wrap-around. The clip was quite brief. It looked as if she had the guy she was cuffed to knocked out. I'm guessing she reached behind her head to rip the tape and peeled it off.

Toys and Kits
I was doing some research about the 'Perils of Penelope' and I ran into a picture of what appears to be a plastic, 3D model of a scene from that show. (Picture is below).

It got me to thinking: How many other mainstream shows/movies have spawned action figures or kits that have the character(s) in a bondage or restrained predicament?

(I realize that in addition to pictures I submit here, there are also statuettes of Betty Page and Jungle Girls in various forms of restraint, but I didn't think they were exactly mainstream so I didn't include them...)

Okay, now the pics...

First picture is (I believe) a kit for a scene from "Perils of Penelope." I found it on a Japanese website and a Brazilian website but nowhere else - not even on Ebay.

Next three pictures are (of course) the famous 'metal bikini' scene from Star Wars - Return of the Jedi. The middle one may be an action figure, but the other two look like kits/diorama figurines.

Lastly is Princess Amidala from Star Wars - Attack of the Clones: Arena Escape. I saw this toy quite a bit when the movie came out.

I recall (back in the late 60's or early-70's?) one of the plastic model companies (Aurora?) put out a line of "Classic Monsters", Wolfman, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, etc. I'm fuzzy on all the details, but I remember there was an accessory kit(s) of a rack or bondage table or something, *&* a kit of a female in cutoffs & a shirt with the tails tied (to bare her tummy) called "The Victim". The idea was to buy the kits & make your own horror diorama. Like I said... fuzzy.

However, I *do* remember this caused a blow-up in the press. "The Victim"?? Talk about Political Incorrectness *&* Corruption of the Innocent!!

A superficial web search led me to the URL *&* the image below. I'm too lazy to do more. :-)

You'd best be circumspect about renting "The Perfect Neighbor". I recall seeing a putz scene on the jacket of the VHS cassette.

The "Girl" Victim: Fun Torturing Plastic!
...& speaking of the Aurora kit "The Victim", take a look at the URL below. It's a scan of a comic book ad pushing the Aurora monster/horror kits, including "The Victim".

Note the final panel, which shows the happy, "wholesome", youngster playing with the company's products. I imagine any pets in that household would be seriously thinking about taking their chances on the street. :-)

You recalling correct
similar ads on TV back then,
models of passed out "victims" you'd put in the hands of model apes and Martians too. Similar to the WWII scene modelers.
Appears only the train sets lasted.

well as what snarked at time "Boy's Barbies".
Ad had it with movable hand and arm. Hooked him on a string so he could slide down and save Barbie. Perhaps "Kung-Fu Hand"?
Don't believe the Boy's Barbies had all the clothes the Girl's Barbies did? ;)

You're right, Van. In fact, the uproar was so great that Aurora was forced to recall the kits & re-package them, calling the kit "Dr. Deadly's daughter" (Dr. Deadly was the mad scientist in the model series).

A couple years ago, MacFarlane Toys put out a series of figures based on The Wizard of Oz called "Twisted Land of Oz", featuring each character (Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Wizard, Lion, Tin Wooodsman) in rather gory and/or suggestive versions. The character of Dorothy is of a hot red-headed chick in a thong, a black hood over the top of her head, covering her eyes, and with her arms secured behind her in a single bondage glove (she has managed to get one hand partially free), being branded by a couple very demented looking "munchkins" (this is a really perverse action figure series, this "Twisted Land of Oz"!). She is wearing a corset & is topless, with a leather strap across her breasts. A VERY HOT figure!

Fascinating stuff Van; I was obssessed with Famous Monster's of Filmland magazine and several others ( a good source of scene pics). I thought I had every Aurora monster model but now I think my parents were sheltering me from this one; I've never even heard of it.

Tori Spelling had some role in the "90210" episode where her character was bound, gagged and about to be violated. I don't see anything in the IMDB about her writing any episodes of the series, though she did direct at least on,. but she said in interviews that she pressured the show to do this to her character.
Alicis Silverstone produced "Excess Baggage", and I believe Anne Hathaway also had a hand in "Ella Enchanted", but neither had a screen credit for it (though IMDB confirms that Silverstone produced without a credit).
So far, the answer is technically "no", though we can say that some actresses deliberately chose movies with significant bondage in them. The real problem, I think, is not that there aren't any actresses into bondage, nor that they refuse to show it on film, but that writing is a difficult art, especially with studios second-guessing you every step of the way. Plus, the Hollywood dream is to "Wanna direct", yes? ;-)
Of course, there's Cheri Caffaro of "Ginger" fame, and Susanna Love, who wrote "The Devonsville Terror" and "Boogeyman" -- with scenes for herself. I assumed you were wondering about slightly more mainstream actresses, yes?

Wild West Tech: Freak Shows II
West Coast alert for tonight's episode. From about the 0:16 - 0:20 mark, it covers "Spiritualists" (i.e., the conjuring spirits carny act). As "proof" their abilities were "real", the Fox sisters are shown allowing themselves to be chair-tied. Later, I think a woman (and other male spiritualists) have acts which have their hands bound behind their back before they begin their act.

I almost forgot. McFarlane's Conan-II series has a figure of the slave-girl "Zenobia" chained to a wall. It's already sold out at most sites, but if you check around (like at your local comic stores), you might get lucky.

Funny I forgot, 'cause I've got one. I'm looking at it right now, & it's *great*! (Zenobia's my back-up muse, in case my Princess Leia Unleashed muse wants to take a break.) :-)

Supernatural - west coast alert
At around the :50 mark tonight's episode had a cute brunette in a very quick, dimly lit scene. She was tied AOH in a cavern. After being cut down, you could tell a guy was untying her hands but the ropes were about impossible to see. No gag. Putz in same predicament but no direct interference. There was no abduction scene; she was last screaming apparently at the sight of a creature.
