Lola Glaudini. Would look good in a scene, but she reminds me too much of Bebe Neuwith of "Cheers" fame. Very thin face.

Into the Blue
I think many of us would like a complete play-by-play on the scene, if possible, simply to compare what was shown in the stills to what actually happened. Such as, the scene where Brolin says "give me the coordinates."

We've seen plenty of scenes recently where the stills don't match the scene. The scene with Amanda Tapping comes to mind, and the great shot of Elisha Cuthbert on all the "24" fan sites showing her in a complete wide-angle shot in the chair tape-gagged that never was shown on air.

billy the kid
On our cable network down under, the history chanel ran a series about the lives and deaths of famous outlaws of the old west. One programe was on billy the kid.
I saw a similar programme many years ago that re-enacted the many ways he could have died. One was the lawmen sneaking into his girlfriends house, tiying her to a chair and gagging her. They waited for the outlaw to turn up, then shot him. In the programme last week they only paid lip service.
Of the many films made about the famous outlaw, has anyone seen this actual conclusion?
I have seen a few films in which the endings have been sudden and dissapointing.
So writers and directors etc. take note. The damsel could be tied and struggling for as long as 15 minutes. (you wish)

From a frustrated bondage fan down under.

Hello all...it's been a long time. Yes I've begun posting pix again, but only a few. In addition to stills in ABPEB I posted the MPG file with rars to the alt.binaries.multimedia.bdsm group. As before, this will be a one time only heads up, so that this discussion group remains focused on the real topics. So check the newsgroups occassionally.

After less than five mouse clicks... "Unknown" is "Jennifer Chu".

Thanks Jay! I've been reluctant to promote this site since my official relationship with House of Bondage (formerly House of Abductor) went by the wayside, but they've left it up, and there's no reason that folks shouldn't be taking advantage of it while I try to finalize the arrangements for my (I know, I know) long-overdue new site. No hurry, though, since this batch of content will be free on the new site as well.

(Modest guy that he is, Jay doesn't mention that he provided me with the source material for every one of the clips and caps in this particular collection, by mailing over a hundred tapes from Canada at his own expense -- a kickass act of generosity to me and to our community, if I do say so.)

"Threshold" didn't fare very well last week, and Love-Hewitt is on the spot to produce early tonight as the lead-in to CBS' Friday lineup. Guess here is she's gonna sink fast. Also, "Numbers" next Friday has a mother-daughter kidnapped. Maybe a preview at the end of tonight's episode.

Gotta hand it to Fox: sometimes they actually manage to cancel their bad shows even faster than they cancel their good ones.

OK - LAST discussion on this topic - 1st clip going up on Monday (from Jimbo in OZ - thanks mate!) says it ALL! - this one's a TEN ! - consider THAT as your NEW yardstick for scenes - I think most guys are in 'Flipper' / nostalgia mode here regarding J Alba - I rated it a '2', but I'm being REALLY generous there. Sorry, but ...'THEM's THE FACTS, Boyz'

PS: Might put it up if REALLY desperate for scenes, like say, in 2023, but not very likely ....

A follow-up question if I may, Major. Does the scene show Alba as in the promo stills, up close?

Also wondering whether Major thinks the scene is not good because what we saw in the promo stills is all there was, and was just too typical, or whether the stuff in the promo scenes wasn't delivered in the movie.

Yes - but doesn't match up with the publicity stills - I opened them both together in PhotoShop to compare - and appears the stills generally found on the net are NOT from the actual film - BIG! difference, which might account for some of the hype-up / DiD hysteria regarding this film.
My clip is a (shitty) knock-off low-resolution copy but expecting a proper high resolution job this weekend - so will update anything new - let you know.

OK, thanks. I wanted to mention last week something along those same lines. In the international trailer, the image we see in the split second clip, shows Alba tape-gagged with what looks like gaffer's tape. It's wider on her mouth. The still from the handcuff scene, with Alba on the ground looking up, appears to be regular duct tape, a little thinner on her mouth.

A definite on THAT - the stills seen widely over the last month or so, are NOT from the actual movie - I'll try to get together a reasonable clip of this for next week. WHY? they would try to hype it up with other material is your guess ...

Okay, here a "Theory" ;)

This cool fella from Australia sent us some great scenes to pass around to the fellas here. Some BEAUTS!
The already finnecky Major has been spoiled,
so he not favouring the Jessica Alba scene as much.

However, a fresh case from the Beer Store put in his fridge this morning will motivate him to "take one for the team" and clip/pass around Alba.

Can't have any passengers on this board, huh? ;)

Btw: One sent was a fair clip of the "Prince of Pirates" film.

Long time no post! Anyhow, caught this trailer for the new Usher movie on Access Hollywood last night. Link above (via themoviebox.net). I think the luscious Emmanuelle Chriqui has a hands-behind tape gag scene at the 22-20 second mark (countdown timer). Seemed that way on TV, but hard to confirm on my Dell.

The Damsel, St. George, & the Dragon... Eventually
Here's an item from Variety via the DarkHorizons.com site:
-------
"Paramount's tapped Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn to pen an off-kilter adventure version of the seminal knight's story "St. George and the Dragon". "'St. George and the Dragon' is the enduring myth of a knight's struggle to save a feudal princess from a fearsome beast," Producer Gary Wick said. "In Auburn's retelling, the knight will be not so chivalrous, and the princess not so chaste".
-------
We're only talking script at this stage, but it's one more project to keep an eye on.

...& speaking of "Into the Blue". For cryin' out loud, people. You can almost hear the pitch meeting:

"It'll be 'The Deep', only with a gold treasure instead of drugs, & no voo-doo."
"Great! Maybe we can get Jessica Alba!"

I seriously doubt if someone added:
"Yeah, we'll tie her up & gag her for the publicity photos, but only do a crappy job in the actual movie!"

Get a grip, people! Van's First Law: "It's always about the story; never about the bondage". They weren't trying to make "Bettie Page & the Pirates" (unfortunately).

No, Australian and United States.
"Frauds", "Prince of Pirates", "Fever", "Soldier's Fortune", etc among them.

Now of the Australian ones,
"Les Patterson" one pretty good and there this other one with two women fighting over a fella, one bound gagged at the dinner table. Can't recall title, but the Major will have it up soon as he favouring it highly.

Also, apparently he's going to contribute some more for us.

That Japanese tape
Looking at the Japanese sites mentioned here recently, I was struck by the prevalence of shiny light brown tape in modern Asiatic gag scenes.

This stuff looks like a smooth version of what we call gaffer tape in the UK regardless of colour, and the Americans, equally regardless, call duct tape. It seems to come in more than one thickness, judging by the degree of conformity to facial curves, but rarely allows detail to show through. Sometimes, as everywhere, it's very sloppily applied. I'm curious to know how sticky it is, and if it has a particular name. The colour is presumably intended to match cardboard for packaging purposes, but the tape is thick and opaque, quite unlike our packing tape of the same colour.

Can any Asian readers enlighten us about this material, please?

Favorite ocean piracy scenes
> They weren't trying to make "Bettie Page & the Pirates" (unfortunately).

Since national "Talk Like a Pirate Day" was earlier this week, what are some of our favorite pirates of the open seas DiD scenes?

Two that come to mind:
1) Linda Darnell in "Blackbeard, the Pirate" (1952). Robert Newton was the actor who created the now obligatory "Awwrrr" phrasing before each line.

2) Belinda Bauer in "Act of Piracy".

Yeah,
noticed that. And it's green in Korea.

We have a possible coming in the Jeong Hye-young and Han Go-eun soap English titled "Lawyers".
One fella's wife has been kidnapped, so we betting on a green duct tape gag for her if it happens?

Battlestar Galactica pops
Tonight's ep of Battlestar Galactica ("Pegasus") popped with an image of a chick lying on the floor of a jail cell with her hands cuffed behind her back, wearing a futuristic metal collar and futuristic leg shackles attached to the floor by a steel cable. She's dressed in a gray T-shirt and shorts, nothing else. Unfortunately, her face was looking battered. Quite a long shot, as she's examined by a doc while so restrained, but not released. Prolly a Cylon/human hybrid. About ten minutes from the end is another long scene, starting with her ankle shackles being removed. She talks with the doctor, eats some food. Her wrists are raw from the shackles.

No gag, so neener, neener neener!
