With my cable box, I can't watch one show and record another (unless I get another piece of equipment, which costs extra.) I'd record all of "Desperate Housewives", but then I wouldn't be able to watch "American Dad" (the funniest show on TV right now!)

I watched the beginning and there was no scene. The guy came home, the kid pointed a gun at him, Susan jumped at him and the gun got knocked loose. The kid ran away.

Yes, aka Reindeer Games; trailer at link below. Very low budget, made by ex Project Greenlight people season 2. Release of DVD in Oct. Ropes, but no gag in trailer.

Rex, I'm not 100% sure but i *think* you did miss some scenes. I just watched the episode I recorded last week from the alert ("4am-5am")and it ended with Elisha still tied & tape gagged in the van. The bad guy had just killed one of his buddies & we see the shot of Elisha leaning out the vehicle watching. Now, the alert was only for that episode, but since she was still tied up at the end it figures that it continued in the next episode (5am-6am). I have the original FOX episodes somewhere, I'd have to check to be sure. If I recall, in the next episode she was rescued fairly early

Got spacecast.com up,
you and Rob are correct. Spacecast has ep titles: "The Living Legend" prt. 1 & 2
and Special guest Lloyd Bridges

Figured something wrong with differing ep descriptions.

has anyone ever seen something among these lines?
I want to ask, was there ever a bondage scene etc, in which said damsel was dressed in karate/judo gear and bare feet? That is one of my favorite scenarios, yet, I have never seen anything (real or animated) like it

Any help is appreciated

American dad is awesome. My dumb ass didn't set the time right and missed west wing and CI tonight :(
BTW, I'm recording on a WinTV usb (v.1 IIRC, no fm) tuner that I bought for $27 at an office max. Might be an idea for those moments where ya just gotta record 2 shows ;) The software is decent for something made by hauphague (sp?) too. Might be a regional price, I don't see it on their website.

I can't think of any, but that is a situation that I would definitely want to see!

The War at Home
Has anyone seen this new show called "The War at Home"? It is on Sunday nights (between "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy") on FOX. It's a sitcom about a family. The daughter ("Hilary") is played by an actress named Kaylee DeFer, and I would love to see her bound and gagged! The father on the show seems to have problems about his daughter growing up too fast. Perhaps there could be a scene where he binds and gags her to prevent her from going on a date or something. It could happen!

The closest I've got is Star Trek: The Next Generation, one of the later season episodes called "Lower Decks". Worf is teaching a young female crewman Klingon Karate and "tests" her by blindfolding her.

A&E is airing four episodes every Monday. Last week's series contained the episode where Kim was handed over to the bad guy, driven off in the back seat of his car, then later put in the trunk.

This week's series of episodes only went up until "11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.". Kim doesn't get tied up again until she's kidnapped again in "9:00 - 10:00p.m.". That will be three weeks from now according to my fingers. That series should contain both episodes with Kim bound and tape-gagged and also the episode with Leslie Hope bound and gagged by Nina.

A female martial arts student was bound hands behind in her uni in an ep of BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, but I'm not sure which one ... might have been "Night of the Ninja". You can rummage around the synopses at the link below to verify.

Soaps, "Night Stalker"
Sydney Penny escaped from the guys trying to protect her on Monday on AMC and caught a ride with someone else. Have to stay tuned on this one. Wearing a very nice black evening dress.

On "Guiding Light" on Monday, Gina Tognoni was handgagged hard in the opening minutes as someone came to the door where she's being held hostage (not bound). Unfortunately, I only caught the first minutes from a carry-over from taping "As the World Turns", so I don't know if it led to anything else. Nothing on ATWT.

Also, Gabrielle Union gets a hand-gag on Thursday's "Night Stalker" premiere as shown in promos, but most likely the good guy will be doing it.

DELINQUENT SCHOOL GIRLS (AKA "Bad Girls"), a rather obscure 1974 exploitation film. Was available on VHS in the 1980's. Short but sweet gag scene, long scene without gags. Best of luck to you in finding this, but now that DVD is pretty much the norm, a lot of video stores are getting rid of their old VHS stock dirt cheap. Happy hunting.

Spoiler sites indicate a tie-up scene on the witness stand for Kaley Cuoco, perhaps with chains. No gag.

May I infer from the dearth of posts to the contrary...
...that "Martha Behind Bars" didn't pop with anything of interest on CBS last night? Yours truly managed somehow to forget all about the football effect on prime-time scheduling and thus only recorded the first half of the movie. Not that I held out much hope, mind you, but there was always the possibility that a pair of handcuffs might have been added at an opportune moment for dramatic effect, or at least we could have been treated to her being adorned with that now-famous ankle ornament upon her release.

Sounds like a perfectly good waste of Cybill Shepherd's talent, if you ask me.

Hmmm...so now I'M a bit confused. So in the 2 previous Monday episodes ("3am-4am" and "4am-5am"), we saw Kim kidnappe, bound, & gagged in the first episode, and in the second one, which aired last week, it ended with her still tied & t ape gagged in the trunk, she was hanging out watching one of the bad guys shoot the other one. The episode ended with here watching the killing from the trunk. So in the next episode ("5am-6am") that aired immediately thereafter, she wasn't shown & had already been untied?? Seems odd, especially since the series is set in "real time" that we wouldn't see her again until the "9pm" episode, and that's when she gets kidnapped a second time. So how & when did she get untied in the first kidnapping? The Database lists her scenes as being in the "3am-4am" and "4am-5am" episodes but not the ones after (but she was still tied & gagged at the end of the "4am-5am" episode.
Can anyone help clear this up for me? I thought I had the original FOX episodes somewhere, and there ARE somewhere but I can't seem to locate them at the moment to check for myself. Thanks from me (and "rex" I'll bet, since I obviously couldn't answer his question!) :-)

It was "Day of the Samurai", which was a sequel to the episode "Night of the Ninja".

Both had excellent bondage scenes, details on both eps in the DB entries that yours truly entered a few weeks ago.

after we saw Kim still bound and tape gagged in the trunk, her next scene had her unbound. The killer (off-camera) must have untied her because he made her and one of her abductors dig a grave to bury the other kidnapper who had just been shot. Kim was kept locked up for the next few hours until Jack rescued her and her mom. Basically from then until her next kidnapping, she looked hot and acted like an imbecile. Worth taping if you like looking at Elisha's cleavage, especially when she's climbing up that hillside.

"24" is not real-time in the way you're thinking. Time continues to move forward while the focus is shifted other other characters. So while Kim was shown lying in the trunk gagged at 4:58a.m., she may not be shown again until 6:15a.m. in the next episode. By that time, you're left to assume she's already been untied by her kidnappers.

There was no untying/gag removal scene after the first tie-up for Kim that I recall.
