Didn't The Tony Orlando and Dawn Show also have a running Did skit in which the ladies of Dawn alternatively were bound to the tracks or the buzz saw etc. That's what I miss about those old variety shows. I wish someone would bring them back as an alternative to all these "reality" shows that are so popular now.

The Notorious Bettie Page
For those in Toronto, this week's "eye" magazine, a free alternative newspaper, features Gretchen Mol as Bettie on the front page, and there's a four-star review and article inside. As I mentioned last week, the movie screens at the Toronto filmfest Sept 14 and 16, and I'm not sure if it has a distributor for a regular release yet.

Spooks
Looks like actress Martine McCutcheon has a DinD scene:

"There aren't many roles where you're working in a coffee shop one minute and you're tied to a bomb the next. I thought it was quite a challenge."

DB Question
I've been trying to cover the entire Batman Animated saga in the database the last couple of months and have added about 20 entries so far, but I just got one that Im not sure how to enter.

It's a special animated short titled "Chase Me" that is included on the special features of the "Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman" dvd. Its got a scene with Catwoman.

Not exactly sure how to enter that title in the DB, since it's not from the actual show, or part of the movie itself.

Should I just call it "Batman: Chase Me", or simply "Chase Me" or list it under "Batman: Mystery of Batwoman", and what category should it go under since its not a film or TV show? Should I list it under Other?

Dont wanna be negative, but that reads like she has a bomb tied to her, rather than B&G in a Nancy Drew deathtrap

"Shorts" have been classified as "Movies" like in some Superman ones.

For Title, you can go "Chase Me aka" then added with other title. With details in description.

I'll keep an eye on for it, ensure it lines up

And there are four color photos of Gretchen Mol at thebettiepage.com (click on the "News" section.

While none of the photos hint at bondage, most encouraging is the site's description:

"The film follows Page from her childhood in Nashville to New York, where she moves pursue her acting dreams. To make ends meet, Page starts modelling and soon gets into nude photography; it is not long before she is posing for sado-masochistic fetish pics. She becomes the first celebrity bondage model in the United States and finds herself at the centre of a Senate investigation into pornography. Soon after, in 1958, she undergoes a rather sudden religious conversion and disappears from the public eye."

Sheree Wilson
Just watched "Walker, Texas Ranger" - Episode: "Retribution"

"Alex (Wilson) is tied to a bomb-rigged chair (hands behind) and gagged with duct tape. Walker removes the gag right away but she stays tied for a few more minutes.

Ever been to court lately and noticed all the hot female lawyers? Sheree Wilson really plays the part in this episode with the business suit. She is really the "Lois Lane" of the late 90's and early 2000's. Very hot. Like to cross examine her!

24 Hour Police Affair
A pretty young Chinese woman has been kidnapped on the show 24 Hour Police Affair (AZN 7 AM and 3 PM Mon-Fri). In yesterday's episode there were a couple of good hand-over-the-mouth scenes followed today with numerous shots of her tapegagged.

Since I have recorded that one on a DVR at work I don't have a full description of the scene yet but it appeared as if her arms are bound in addition to her mouth being taped. The scene seems likely to continue in next week's episode.

24 Hour Police Affair is a Chinese TV knockoff of the American show 24 Hours complete with the digital clock inserts before commercial breaks. AZN is the new name of the former International Channel and now features strictly Asian programming.
