CBS will air two unrelated episodes after the news conference. The 2-hour episode with the twins will air next Wednesday from 9 to 11. This will push the season premiere of "CSI: NY" back a week. Fox is also pulling "Reunion", with Thursday's episode to air the following week. |
Thursday September 15 01:54:45 2005 First Wave on Sci-Fi |
Many thanks to Nite Owl for posting the alerts for FIRST WAVE on Sci-Fi tomorrow (Thursday). How awesome is it to get two great DiD episodes back-to-back? "Night Falls" and "Normal, Illinois" feature lovely, lovely damsels. Although I've had the "Normal, Illinois" episode for some time, I've constantly missed the repeat airings of "Night Falls." Gotta set my new DVD recorder now. I can't wait. |

A new very high budget adult feature has been released called Pirates. Looks like at least one interesting bondage scene:

This is by far the worst thing our esteemed Chief Executive has done during his turbulent administration. Did he have to schedule an address during the most desirable episode of "CSI"? Why couldn't he have scheduled his address during the season premiere of "EverybodyLoves Raymond", or "Will and Grace"? |

Thursday is the most watched TV night of the week, so presidential addresses always will air on those nights at 9 p.m. I think the Thursday practice started in the mid 1980s, when NBC's comedies were drawing huge numbers on Thursdays. The networks have actually threatened to not air these addresses if they interfere with their schedules, some even have said on those days they won't do it, then they always relent at the last second, and air the address. |

That's a fast turnaround to DVD, less than 3 months for a movie that did OK at the box office. Let's hope "Into the Blue" bombs and comes to video quicker. |
Thursday September 15 16:05:44 2005 The Notorious Bettie Page: March 2006 |
Just a heads up for folks curious about the outcome of the long-ago announced Bettie Page biopic. It's in the can and just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival this past week to good reviews. A March, 2006 theatrical release seems probable.
The bad news - while reviewers had kind words for Gretchen Mol's performance as Bettie, they all make mention of the fact that most of the flick is presented in black and white. Since it's seems likely we'll see Bettie trussed up at some point - perhaps several times, since a good chunk of the film is about her battles with the government over her S/m shoots - that's kind of a bummer. This film shouldn't be confused with another Bettie Page flick that was released on DVD recently - that's little more than a glorified fetish video from adult producers. |

At any rate, I've found that this kind of tape is extremely common in Italian or French films. Ever seen the movie, "Opera"? Or better yet, "Viola Bacia Tutti" with Asia Argento. I think you'll find that if you sift thru Italian films you'll find many occurences. Try Italian horror -- probably the best place to start. |

A-yup. And conversation about it should probably end there, since commercial videos aren't open to discussion. Just wanted to head off any confusion from the start. |

I am more interested in the bondage aspect of a scene than the gag. From what I have seen, the bondage looks very lame. She has one hand cuffed to a dude's hand. No thank you. The sad thing is, that I would go see the movie if it had a decent scene in it. I hate to admit it, but I will go to see a bad movie or a movie that I would otherwise have no interest in seeing, If it contains a decent bondage scene. |

The mother and daughter have been held captive the past couple of days but, as far as I can tell from my recordings at work, have not been restrained. They did both have hand-over-the-mouth scenes on yesterday's show. If they are truly following the plotline of the first season of 24 then perhaps there will be more in coming episodes within the next few weeks. |

I look at the two publicity stills & they're just not much of a movie. The images don't move, there's no sound, it's over *way* too quick, & don't get me started about the lack of plot! (In case anyone misunderstands, the above is *sarcasm*.) ;-] |

Thursday September 15 22:16:38 2005 Epitafios on HBO Latino |
I was flippin through HBO Latino, and they were promoting this new series "Epitafios". The show has to do with searching for a serial killer. The preview for what I think is the next episode showed a redheaded woman strapped to a cross or x-rack for a bondage shoot, but that when the shoot was finished the villain had plans for his victim. I think in the montage of scenes for the whole season, a blonde woman may have also been tied to a chair arms behind. Attached is a link to the schedule. |

That may be one of the episodes available thru HBO on demand. I scanned both available episodes last night and one featured a light haired older woman (60ish) who is bound and gagged but meets a gruesome ending. |
