I went to the FOX website earlier in the day because my TV Guide still had "The Inside" listed Aug. 3 and Aug. 10. But this show is gone for good, although the producer promises a DVD with the 7 or 8 unaired episodes. This is the same guy whose "Firefly" got the same treatment from FOX. That DVD is out and "Firefly" reruns are airing right now on Sci-Fi.

SHALLOW GROUND: go get ya some....
Sometimes they do nice things for us...

Such a thing is SHALLOW GROUND, a new release (in mid-2005) available now at BBUSTER and HOLLYWOOD and others.

Typical of these low budget indie horror flicks, we have some blank faced protagonists, a forest setting, some slasher/s, and some ghosts or whatever. Once again some closet nutcase has made his dream come true and made the exact same film 20 others have made in the past few years...as a movie this is pretty dull. But be kind to this man, because we owe him big...

Not because the film has 4 different women bound b&g. Two of those are seconds long (but one is still good), one (a pudgy faced blonde) is flashed throughout the movie, she's okay, whatever, ...2 of those scenes may disturb many, knife play, serial killer type stuff, I wasn't thrilled....

BUT.
Two words, one name... NATALIE AVITAL. Never seen her before. Want to see her again (in any capacity.) Plays a paramedic, abducted in the woods about 50 minutes in or so,

Hung naked (except for realistically dirty pink panties) by her wrists off the ground from a tree in the woods, struggles like crazy, VERY WELL cl-gagged in a good long scene, and CLOSE UPS to knock your EYES out of your HEADS.
She is perfect and the scene is outstanding.

She is killed, off camera. This is unfortunate, a waste of her talent, but her bondage scene is more than enough to make this movie a winner... for us anyway.

(Putz alert later in the movie, more toward the end.)

New scenes on Major John's
Let's hope that those promised new Asian scenes will make it to the database; we haven't got more than one or two since Anonymous' and Dean's flood of scenes in 2004.

GH spoilers
OK. While I wouldn't go as far as to tell anyone to stop taping now, it doesn't look very promising for the Kelly Monaco situation. Here's a spoiler I found for Friday, August 5th:

8/5 Amy's last airdate as Rachel
(flashback scenes just prior to her death)
Carly won't go with Lo, she wants to aide Sonny and Jason.
Sam is grabbed by Dr. T.

Then, on another page from the same website, I found this elaboration:

A desperate Asher uses Sam as a shield, forcing her up
to the hospital roof. After injecting Sam, Dr. T. attempts
to make his escape via medivac. Dr. T. makes it to the Q home
and demands Alan's assistance in escaping. Monica contacts Jason.
Dr. T is cut down by a bullet--fired from Jason's gun.

Now who knows? Maybe after "Dr. T." injects Sam, he ties her up and gags her. It's possible. Maybe he drags the bound and gagged but now awake Sam into the Quartermaine's house and she writhes and moans while he tries to force Alan into helping him. Maybe there are great close ups on her face when Jason arrives to save the day. Maybe after killing Dr. T., Jason ungags Sam and she exclaims, "My hero!" That would qualify for me as "full damsel in distress mode." But I'm doubting it. From the above description, it sounds more like Sam will get used as a shield, drugged and that's about it.

Like I said, anyone with a ray of hope should keep taping, but my expectations have been tempered by the above spoiler. At any rate, it doesn't look like anything will happen until Friday (human shield day). There's actually a montage on the following page that shows Sam being used as a shield:

http://groups.msn.com/GeneralHospitalHappeningsTwo/yourwebpage21.msnw

So by all means, continue taping. But like I said, I'm tempering my expectations on this one.

I'd suggest you back off right quick.
You really don't want to get into a Database argument with me.

Off-hand, recently 15 entered "properly". ID'd and researched with no assistance from you.
Not only can I tell you they entered after Jan 1st 2005, add clips were made at time and passed around to the fellas here when they aired.
So that rough 15 recents could rise well above your 1, or 2

Woman Hunt
Had trouble with the data base with this one - keeps giving me Stephanie Kramer from Hunter.
Is this the movie referred to on Major John's? - hopefully cuz I've never seen it, either on TV or in the video stores.
Record number: 3928

Title: Woman Hunt (1972)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Pat Woodell, Lisa Todd, Charlene Jones, Jennifer Brooks aka Laurie Rose, Lotis Key

Description: Only a few minutes into the movie, Laurie (here credited as Laurie Rose) falls into the hands of white slave traders. Bound hands behind and cleave-gagged, she is thrown into a cage where three other women, unbound, are already waiting: Maggie (Pat Woodell), Billie (Charlene Jones) and Rita (Lotis Key). Maggie unties Laurie, but only seconds later a group of henchmen, well prepared with cloth strips, enters the room. The girls are taken out of the cage, their hands are tied behind their backs, they are gagged and blindfolded with pieces of white cloth (except for Laurie, who is blindfolded with her own colorful scarf). Next, we see the girls in the back of a truck, being transported into the jungle. Laurie's gag has mysteriously disappeared, it can later be seen hanging around her neck. When the truck breaks down, the girls' captors decide to walk the rest of the way, and the damsels are taken out of the truck and untied.

The rest of the show is not nearly as bondage-loaded as these first 15 or 20 minutes. When the girls try to escape from a mansion in the jungle, they tie up Magda (Lisa Todd), girlfriend and right hand of the lead villain, in the process. She too has her hands bound behind her and is cleave gagged with a pink scarf. This scene is rather short.

All in all, a cheap B-movie produced by Roger Corman with a total of five bound and gagged damsels, on-screen-tying and fine closeups. Enough to be called a bondage classic, but not very well known.

Wow, what quick caps! Youda man. DEfinately tune in tomorrow.

Also, if you follow the posted link it takes you to the preview of the Soap Net "The Next Soap Opera Star" episode that airs tonight. The blond is definately tied, meanicing her "evil twin" whilst holding a bandanna. We can only hope she uses it. Hope everyone is having a good summer, especially The Moderator, who has had to work O.T. ridding the page of non-rule abiding pests and sundry idiots.

Wow!! That blonde is gorgeous. Glad this show is an hour, that might help in placing the gag in.

Nothing on Y&R on Thursday. The flashbacks with Sheila only showed a couple of scenes. First was nothing but talk. Second had the female in the back seat of a car. She might have had hands tied behind but we never saw it. No gag.

You are mistaken - I've seen promo clips of this scene on other videos, quick scenes. But the movie itself doesn't exist anymore as far as I've been able to determine - and I've been through every video store in NYC (8000+) - been looking for this scene for years.
Hafta put this down to urban legend unfortunately - 'wouda ben a contenda' though as Yogi used to say.

Just a reminder,
you can ask for these clips on the Trades Page.
It just here on Discussion Page you can't.

Anyway,
will go through, dig them up and run a list for you interested over on the Trades Page.
Get you in on the recent pass-around clips, or what the Major has.

In case your interested in purchasing this movie, Tapes of Terror (tapesofterror.com) has it in their catalog (both printed and online). The price is $20 with $4 for shipping.

If I told you that it would ruin the twist in the movie (not that you can't guess it before it's revealed) and there are some people reading this who might want to view the film on it's own merits.

BTW I have an old ex-rental copy of Woman Hunt I picked up in Blockbuster about 10-15 years ago. It's no urban myth.

Re: SHALLOW GROUND: go get ya some....
Ah yes. I remember first seeing the scene in a Fangoria magazine, and then downloading the movie on the 'Donk afterwords. Avital is uber hot, and so is her scene. Tons of good struggling.

I have this film on the Mac, I'll see what I can do about clipping it. Probably have it ready to go tommorow morning, first thing. I was going to use it as my "ace-in-the-hole" for trading with guys that seem to have EVERYTHING (since this scene is fairly new), but what the hell. I'll just spread the joy.

Very good scenes, if you ask me. I just copied it a couple of weeks ago.

Found Shallow Ground a few weeks ago, too.

Lauren Hart
Cutie Lauren Hart, daughter of Gene Hart the late great Hockey Hall of Fame announcer for the Philadelphia Flyers, apparently had a scene Monday on the local Philly morning show she cohosts on NBC. I haven't seen the show but a friend told me that she was in a stockade during an on location show at Busch Gardens in Virginia.

Did any fellow Philadelphians happen to catch this? I checked Comcast VOD which carries the show but they only have the last two days.

Re: no The Inside
I read in a newspaper that the inside will not be airing for a few weeks and has been cancelled, BUT Fox said it will air all the episodes.

This was from a fox executive talking about the dance show. It may appear on a sat or some other dead night, but the remaining episodes should air before the summer is over

How 'bout putting the Flyers themselves in that stockade so the Maple Leafs can kick some ass this season (unlikely anyway, as we blew our nose all over the recent draft and salary dilemma).

Shallow Ground - Natalie Avital's Scene
I got to work on it early, so here it is. I will give you a heads up that you can expect a bit of nudity (top only, she is wearing panties), and I didn't bother to clip the other few smaller scenes involving naked gagged women.

With that said, I reccommend you still give this one a rental, as you can see the scene in better quality, in it's entirety, and in it's full context. As far as horror movies go, Shallow Ground is no Devil's Rejects, but it's one of the better new horror films out there right now. Give 'er a shot.

I had to compress to clip to get it ready for the net, so I appologize for the decrease in quality. The next compression I could give is Full Quality DV, which rounds up to about 120 MB, at least. This one is a much leaner 7.1 MB.

At any rate, ENJOY. This is a great scene. Any further comments/concerns regarding the clip can be sent to my e-mail address.
