Tuesday August 23 04:03:04 2005 Beverley Mitchell |
Beverley Mitchell will be appearing in Saw 2 due out in late October. Don't know much about the plot...I'm assuming it's pretty much the same thing as the first movie was. Monica Potter had a pretty darn good scene in that one. Let's hope all hope for the best. The teasrer trailer is the only trailer I can find to download and it doesn't show much, obivously. |

DVD's and DVR's are a new world to me and getting any assistance in learning what software/hardware is needed to make my own caps and clips from them or tv would be great. Personally I'd like to contribute as well as receive. Maybe Trades page a better place for those discussions. Some of the non-technical folks out there may not want to wade through long discussions on the topic. |

Actually, her bound and gagged scene (with duct tape) was in a made for TV movie years before her Academy Award. It was about ragging on unpopular high school girls. You're right about Joan Crawford, though she was well past her prime. |

Tuesday August 23 11:42:04 2005 NBC preview |
The NBC fall preview is airing every 30 minutes this week on Ch. 101 on directv. These 30-minute previews were filmed in the spring, so there's no clips of the returning shows, just some lame highlights of each new show's pilot episode. Not much on NBC this year for new shows.
The only reason to watch is Nikki Cox and Vanessa Marcil host the special in the casino. I never realized how awesome Nikki Cox's lips were until some closeups here. And I don't think an actress in Hollywood has a sexier "smirk" than Vanessa Marcil. Too bad these two are wasted on "Las Vegas." Think ABC and CBS are up in the next two weeks. |
Tuesday August 23 14:12:22 2005 Jessica Alba News |
Sin City star Jessica Alba has beaten a host of Hollywood stars to land the coveted lead in the I Dream Of Jeannie movie. The actress will join funnyman Jimmy Fallon for the latest revamp of a classic TV series, after reportedly beating Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan and Alicia Silverstone to the role.
The site adds also drops the bomb that Alba has "decided not to join" the Fantastic Four sequel. |
Tuesday August 23 14:47:30 2005 BTK TV Movie |
CBS is producing a murder about the Bind Torture Kill strangler called "The Hunt for the BTK Killer.". It will start filming next month and is supposed to air in the end of October.
I cannot see any way that they can avoid having something of interest, even if it's just screen shots of his bondage photos like the end of Dragnet 1969 when he's arrested in the film. |

There's so many other pages & places to go to get technical information like this but very few well monitored pages like your page dedicated to discussion of DID scenes... IMO I feel it'd be better if you moved them to the trade section. This way if people were looking for or needed to ask a question they'd have a specific place to go without risk of maybe straying off topic and the Discussion area stays on one thing & one thing only - women bound & gagged. Probably make more work for you though... |

You know, when I first read this I wasn't sure if that was a good idea, but since the caps requests have been switched over there, this is a good idea. It is in the interests of making sure the caps work right and are accesible. > This way if people were looking for or needed to > ask a question they'd have a specific place to go without > risk of maybe straying off topic ... Could we get an official ruling on this? Helping with caps and capsites would help out with improving the Trades page. |

That sounds good to me. I'm just glad that the moderator put some thought into my question, and it didn't know unnoticed. I've been coming to this site since the beginning, and always wondered how to make caps. I have thousands of videos, never knew how to make caps. I agree with Anubis, that would improve the trades section, because I am sure there are others out there just like me who have tapes but don't know how to make caps. Sic |

Tuesday August 23 17:13:26 2005 A new meaning for the word "handgag," perhaps? |
Or maybe we should refer to someone so restrained as "cuffed and muffed?"
By the way, who do you think ought to play her in the movie? Natalie Portman's too young, if you ask me. I kind of see Winona Ryder, don't you? Not like she doesn't have a little experience at this sort of thing. |

Tuesday August 23 21:44:38 2005 VCR tip |
Many of you gents who have bought DVD recorders have no doubt been aggravated by the "This program is not allowed to be recorded" message that pops up when try to record certain scenes from certain movies. However, if you can get your hands on an older VCR, anything before the mid 90's, you can still tape these scenes. Older VCRs are not programmed to recognize the signal. With everyone switching to DVD, now is a good time to get a hold of these - any Goodwill is bound to have at least a few, and you can get them for less than $10. Some DVD's will still be recorded with a few annoying lines, but you can still get the scene. I prefer DVD, but something is better than nothing.
Just a tip in case you didn't know |

Why is Diana being arrested? For saving the world without a license? Her name showed up on a watch list? She let her visa expire? |

Maybe call it "Trade's n Tech" or "Trades and Tech Help"?? It might not only help new folks find the techie info, as well as being truth in advertising, lol, but it might even cut down a bit on the "this post has been moved" posts that Brian has to keep putting up. And for what its worth, I'm in favor of a spot on the page for these video tech questions, especially when they are on their own page and won't interupt the flow of the main topic, girls in ropes and gags. They can only help more folks to contribute to the site, and as for me, man I love learning anything that helps us do our job or hobby. |
