Batman "Almost Got 'Im"
Sorry if this is a repeat, I saw some post on this episode awhile back but didn't really read them. (and I wasn't sure of the date to be able to look it up)

Besides being something that no TV DVD collection should be without,(along with "Angel Season 5" and all seasons of ATHF,) the cool thing about the "Batman: The Animated Series" DVDs is the feature to compare and contrast the voice work. Mark Hamill's "Joker" beats the crap out of
the spanish voice over actor, but the french "Catwoman" is the best moaner by far.

For the toonheads that want the french clip to compare with their english version, send an e-mail the the address below with the subject line saying "Oui, Oui, I Want" and I'll do a mass sending Sunday night after "American Dad" (Then speradically after that.)

Sure, for laughs.

Grab the scenes and clip to compare the Mmmpphhing.
Can tell you right off US Catwoman (Ertha Kitt?) more humourous, or "purrr-fect", than the dubber.

Two upcoming, if reading air-sched correct?

Ha! You're right, I hadn't hought about checking that.
I guess the French episodes still aired with Ms. Barbeau's name in the credits, so it would probably be a task to track down the foriegn actresses names.

Thriller
The complete series of the classic 70's series "Thriller" is out here in the UK in a box set dvd on 18 July. You would obviously get many non-productive episodes too, and it is expensive (see link to UK site), but I honestly never thought this series would surface again on dvd.

Of course it will be region 2 dvd, but for those of you with multi-region players hopefully this won't be a problem, and it may even be due for a US release some time (Amazon have "series 1" advertised, a 4-disc set due for release in September at just under 60 dollars, but it doesn't have much to offer in the way of details).

If you get "Slylock Fox" in your Sunday comics...
...be sure to take a look at it today. Looks like King Features runs it online with a two-week delay, but I went ahead and pasted the link to their site for those of you who who'll have to wait.

Oh, and it looks like someone has just slipped "Brenda Starr" a drugged cookie, so it might be worth keeping an eye on her strip for the next few days.

Chupacabra Terror
Dayamn, what a nice surprise. If the damsel's legs had been bound, and if she'd been gagged -- pretty inexecusable oversight, since she's rescued partly because of her impressive screaming, and the bad guy's there the whole time, and his oversight shouldn't even have necessary to advance the plot because one of the good guys has seen her bound and struggling on a video monitor before she even raises her voice -- this would have been easily among the ten best DiD scenes of all time. As it is, it's not bad, and the DVD even includes a commentary track in which the director discusses damsels and "scream queens."

You asked, you got.
A while ago I asked for peoples opinions on this site : http://www.simplytied.com

People got back to me both on this and via email saying good but needs more gagging, well our latest gallery proves that we do actually listen!

So thought I would point this out to all the people who asked for it.

Cheers.

Cannibal Holocaust
Just finished up watching this shocker, and I recall there being a DiD scene in the mix as well (it's also listed in the DB). Oddly enough, though, the entire scene described in the database doesn't occur in whatever version of the film I have (1980, uncut, about 1:30 in length). Faye is captured, and immediately killed.

Just a heads up in case anyone finds themselves dissapointed as I was! I know the scene exists, I used to have to clip. I believe the best bet here is that some variations of the film don't have the scene.

Aah, there must be a lot of welsh damsels out there.

Sounds like a lot of fun shows on Welsh TV.
Here in England we keep asking BBC2 to show more Pobol Y Com (sorry if i spelt that wrong but you know the show i mean)

Will the real POCAHONTAS please stand up?
There's some confusion over at Corrections as to whether a scene occurred in the animated or live-action film with Ms. P as its subject. If anyone can provide clarity, please hop over to that page and make it so.

Thanks advanced.
