She tells him that she fantasizes about being a hitchhiker who is picked up by a good-looking stranger who subsequently overpowers, and then binds and gags, her. She says, "He ties me up and then he gags me..." This show has to be scripted. No girl would ever make such a disclosure to a guy on their first date. |

| Saw a brief scene in the preview for "The Closer" on TNT for next Monday, 7/18, showing Kyra Sedgwick tape gagged. Also, they showed some bondage paraphenalia. Could be very interesting. The show's on at 9PM EST & again at midnight. |

| The new issue of Entertainment Weekly reviewed the recent Special Edition "Cry Baby" DVD and makes mention of a deleted scene involving "Traci Lords kidnapped by a pornographer." This is the 1990 John Waters spoof of '50s flicks starring Johnny Depp.
That certainly sounds somewhat promising. Anyone here planning to pick this up and report back? |

There were a number of episodes with these kinds of themes. In terms of the 'reality' factor, keep in mind this is LA, lots of men and women trying to get people's (producers') attention. Also, I got the feeling Blind Date has drawn more daters from the porn world as the years have gone on. They may have different ideas about what's appropriate on a first date than the women most of us date. One scene this reminds me of was on The Fifth Wheel. For some reason a guy was tying a girl's wristband on. She: 'do you like to do this? Do you like to tie women up?' He: 'Put your other wrist out here and you'll find out.' Unfortunately, she did not. |

Given the campy 50s setting, is some sort of Klaw-style predicament too much to hope for? However, IIRC the article said that there's only about 7 minutes of extra footage; if there is a scene, it might not be too lengthy... |

Just caught the preview for Monday's new episode and nothing of note shown, although maybe more is shown at the end of the prior episode. Segdwick did have a cut on her forehead. |

Rolling Stone ran a story a few years ago about people paying to be kidnapped and bound and gagged, etc. That's the premise here, a web site offering that service, and the guy who attacks Kyra is expecting her to play along. Don't think we'll see any tie-ups, just the gag scene. Later, we see the guy pushed off the bed and Kyra pulling a gun on him and the guy in the interogation room saying that's what he was paid to do. If you can't wait until midnight tonight, just record TNT all day for a few hours at a time and the promo will turn up again. I recorded only from 2:30 to 3:45 and got a half-dozen "Closer" promos. |

Meredith Baxter appears as the politician. You can guess what I'm thinking here, but two Wish-listers b&g'd in the same episode would be too much to hope for from network TV. |

| I just found out that the very first season of the old George Reeves tv series "Superman" will be released on dvd in October. The first season of this black and white classic series has Phyllis Coates as Lois Lane and features what I consider to be the two best bondage scenes of the entire series. Night of Terror and Mystery of the Broken Statues are the two episodes. Many of us probably have them, but I'm thinking the dvd release will quite possibly be a much nicer copy than what many of us have found on tv, and no annoying commercials every 5 minutes or so either. |

Aargh--this is a great damsel sitaution, if someone develops the potential. Here's how it'd work. Damsel thinks it would be a hoot to be fake-kidnapped. But unknown to her, the fake kidnapper is k-o'ed by a real kidnapper, perhaps a stalker. So she goes along with the fake kidnapping, not realizing she's been kidnapped for real. Again, a show that combined sex and the city with intrigue would work perfectly. |
