Friday July 22 01:11:13 2005 Wonderfalls Reruns and New Hallmark Mystery |
Reruns of "Wonderfalls" have been aquired by (of all places) LOGO, MTV's new gay themed cable channel. Begins sometime in August. Of course you can pick up the whole series on dvd for less than $30 which is a small price to pay for avoiding the embarrassment of being caught watching LOGO.
Also, Dick Van Dyke and son Barry Van Dyke will star in the Hallmark Channel mystery movie series "Murder 101". Dick plays a crime solving college professor. According to USA Today, "Murder 101" will be part of the Hallmark Mystery Movie rotation along with "Mystery Woman", McBride" and "Jane Doe" beginning in January. That suggests that those three series will be back with new episodes, though the article doesn't specifically say so. |

Friday July 22 10:10:17 2005 site |
Unfortunatly right now all I have access to is public computers (but I still manage to surf once in a while) I came across a site that had pics of Jessica Alba from Into The Blue, as well as caps from a lot of her scenes. I believe it had a few galleries of actresses b&g. I also found a site a couple months ago that had Melissa Sagemiller, Eliza Dushku and a few others talking about bondage. Any help getting me back to these sites would be great. breachbracket@hotmail.com |

Friday July 22 13:17:01 2005 Stretching ones imagination... |
When checking out the link, your first impression might be that 'jlo' is flexing a bit to check out her new handcuffs. Not much of a stretch, ehhh??
Also, to toss in a plug for a another free site, if one is a LegMan, 'lordlucan' has the best totally free site I've found. Very little bondage, but celebrity stems aplenty. |

Any scoop for today? |
Friday July 22 16:09:37 2005 Y&R teasing....yet again.... |
From TV Guide.com's preview of Y&R for next week:
"Nikki endangers her own life as she snoops into Bobby's business with the best of intentions." Bobby's "business" involves the mob, so there's potential...but, knowing Y&R, they'll let us down yet again. |

Because now this putz (and believe me, this guy is the quintessential putz), is most likely going to get in the way of the future Natalie scenes or at very least, make the scenes more difficult to edit. Oh how I hate soap writers with a passion. If we have any luck at all, the killer will take putz-boy somewhere else and not keep him with Natalie. Unfortunately, I don't see this happening. |

I was just trying to google that interview where Kate Hudson references her bound & gagged scene in Skeleton Keys.
Couldn't find it but there was one reference to this film "Satan's Little Helper" which has a scene for Amanda Plummer |

Friday July 22 19:43:20 2005 Thanks for the heads-up on OLTL, guys... |
...because it's nice to know I can free up the programming slot it was taking up on my main VCR to use for something more watchable. I think there's a big curling tournament or something like that on this weekend, isn't there?
Okay, back on topic-sort of. Is OLTL's "Marcie" the one character on television you'd most like to see trussed to a spit over a nice, smoldering fire, slowly revolving with an apple in her mouth? Up until now I reserved this honor for Tony Soprano's sister Janice-and sometimes I wondered if the thought didn't cross HIS mind. Now, I don't want to sound like I'm casting aspersions on either actress (Kathy Brier and Aida Turturro, respectively). I'm just wondering if such characters as they play (and play quite well) in these two shows-characters obviously written to be annoying-engender feelings of wanting to see something...well, something interesting-happen to them, in anyone here other than me. I mean, it was Marcie who as a member of the "murder club" back in high school was one of the present killer's tormentors; why not have him directly return the favor? And why couldn't one of Tony's enemies have snatched Janice in the mistaken belief that he'd really bargain for her safety? Patti D'Arbanville might not be the lone "Sopranos" cast member in the database if one had. All right, it's a weird topic, but a week or two of watching something as banal as a soap opera will do that to you. Anyone else care to weigh in on it? |

But there was *something* today, which I saw before moving on to pastures new: a quick flashback scene with the perp revealing his identity to two captives. It's the same shot that aired on a preview earlier in the week, and no great loss if you missed both. It's shot from behind and above, and about all you see are the tops of their heads. Now, my first thought was that the two were Natalie and Evangeline; but since the latter is clueless as to who her captor was ... Ah, fuggedabodit. Mebbe it wasn't Evangeline, or mebbe she was somehow induced to forget, or mebbe she really *does* know ... Or mebbe ... just mebbe ... I don't give a rodent's rear. |

Bad news on the putz front. Because of problems with my VCR's clock I recorded the last 20 minutes of whatever soap it is that airs before OLTL. During it they ran a promo for three different ABC soaps touting them as the "Summer of Secrets." During the OLTL promo the voice-over guy says, "The Killing Club Killer has three hostages." The picture then cuts to a view of Natalie's brother (the putziest of the putzes) and Marcie (the chubby gal) both with nooses around their necks. There was then a quick shot of Natalie still tied and gagged in her chair. Putz and Marcie appear to be in the same room as Natalie (with the bad lighting). The promo ends with the Keanu-wannabe cop (is his name actually McBain?) bursting through the door with his gun drawn as the voice-over guy wonders if he'll be in time to save everyone. Unfortunately, Putz and Marcie, not gagged and with nooses around their necks, will undoubtedly take precious camera time away from the beautiful Natalie, bound and gagged in her cheerleader outfit. Wavy is right: I, too hate soap writers. |

Friday July 22 23:06:25 2005 Tonight's Monk |
Well, Sharona never did, but new companion Natalie (Traylor Howard) gets herself in a bind. Captured by the bad guy snooping around his house at around the 1:45 mark, then seen right after the commercial in a car with a big piece of gray tape over her mouth. They're at a recycling center, she has her hands taped in front of her. The gag is removed in fairly short order.
It repeats at 11p CENTRAL, check your local listings blah blah. |
