Myolie Wu's B&G'd chair-tie scene from the Net Deception soap preview aired.
That's a hat-trick for Myolie. Fun stuff. What do here, talk to the Major about a clip, or make an email clip for passing around |

Wednesday June 08 02:31:55 2005 The Avengers "Murdersville" identification |
Recently, the Avengers episode "Murdersville" was on BBC America. It features a scene of a woman shackled and wearing a full metal scold's bridle gag. The actress is not credited in the credits so I did some investigating on the internet and found out the following: The actress who plays "Hilary", the telephone operator who is imprisoned with some other members of the town for not cooperating is played by Hilary Dwyer (they may have just used the actress' first name for the character),NOT Irene Bradshaw as has long been thought and is listed in the database. The confusion comes from the fact that "Hilary" is the ORIGINAL telephone operator who was imprisoned. They gagged her because she wouldn't stop talking. Irene Bradshaw plays "Maggie" the NEW telephone operator who took over after "Hilary" was imprisoned. Below is what I found. |

Wednesday June 08 05:09:57 2005 Fear Factor |
I just watched a rerun of an all-female episode of "Fear Factor", featuring six hotties as the contestants. In the scond stunt, the gross-out one, the four remaining hotties each have to be shackled inside a plastic body bag filled with cockroaches, worms, and all manner of fulsome invertebrates. The bag containing the hottie and the crawlies is then placed inside a closed morgue drawer.
Each hottie keeps her mouth tightly shut in order to prevent any of the creepy crawling horrors from entering it. Several of them made delectable "mmph" sounds. I then pondered why it didn't occur to the producers to tape each hottie's mouth shut; it would've served a useful purpose, keeping the crawlies out of her mouth. It would've also immesaureably enhanced the enjoyability of the episode. |

That would have been quite the opposite of what it seems was intended. By forcing the "hotties" to keep their lips closed on their own, the producers are increasing their fear factor; the fear being that if they open their mouths, the crawlies will get inside. Taping the contestants mouths shut considerably reduces - no, removes - that fear and much suspense. I think the producers of this (& other shows) think a lot more realistically about such situations than many of us, who only seem to tune in television looking for another scene. This reality check has been brought to you by the makers of The Whizzo Quality Assortment, featuring Crunch Frog (if they took out the bones, it wouldn't be crunchy). |

> Below is what I found. > http://deadline.theavengers.tv/images/murderv1.gif I can verify this is correct, and Hilary Dwyer is indeed our girl in the scold's mask. The sheet at the link is part of a several page promo release that was prodcued for each episode. I have a set of copies for almost all the Rigg/Thorson episodes, and posted this info regarding Murdersville/Hilary here in a few years ago. Each episode contains the cast listing, a plot synopsis, short bios of guest stars (as seen here for Murdersville) and a few other facts. Interestingly, some plot synopses differ slightly from the actual eps. There is one Thorson ep which refers to her being bound and gagged, but which showed up on screnn as a hand-gagging only. (The ep with the Russian spies turning invisible and escaping custody to kiell British agents-don't have the time to look up the title right now). |

Wednesday June 08 13:21:11 2005 My New Yahoo Group |
Hey Guys,
I just started a new group on Yahoo. Feel free to join. I've been wanting to make some of my own clips too featuring lovely Latinas I find here in Texas. I figured I try this group moderation thing out first and if I can put up with it and if there's an interest(99% sure there is) then I will start producing my own clips (como Major John). Thanks! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/captivelatinas/ BTW...Mod, feel free to post on Bulletin Board if you wish...no hard feelings will result. Thanks again for being the MAN!!! |

Good luck on your hunt for "subjects" to practice your tying techniques on. If you havn't done it before, I think you'll find it's not as hard as it seems to find women willing to agree to the treatment. |

At least the handgag on Carly wasn't too bad. But sticking a cloth in her mouth while she's inside the trunk? Big deal, she spits it out. |

Unfortunately not I'm afraid, but I'm wondering if this si a recurring theme on French tv/gameshows. Is there anyone out there who receives french channels that can shed any light. I get a couple here in the UK but I've not seen anything like this before. An untapped resource maybe?? |

Consider: 1) The heroine's knack for solving grisly crimes is supposedly due in part to her abduction as a child (which I wouldn't be surprised to see turn up in flashbacks). 2) Show-runner Tim Minear specifically mentions abductions and kidnappings as elements of some episodes. 3) If you go the official site (http://www.fox.com/theinside/), the intro clearly shows a Polaroid of a woman tied to a chair. And apart from the potential DiD angles, the creative staff includes not only Minear but a number of others who are remembered for their great work on Joss Whedon's shows (Buffy/Angel/Firefly). I'm looking forward to it. Sorry about the ultra-last-minute reminder (since the show has already started on the east coast). I was reminded of it myself only just now by a rave review from AICN at the link below. |

It's a chat show in which, according to its web page, guests are interviewed/sent up while wired up to monitoring devices to gauge their reactions. On Google Image, Ms de Menibus appears to behave in a risque manner on the show, often scantily clad. Screen message reads "Not suitable for those under 10." It looks like it's for the 2003 season. I also checked out a bunch of French Web sites and it seems that another season--2004, I would guess--is available in Europe. Even though my French is pretty lacking, I did a pretty thorough search on a number of sites to try and find a clip of Cecile with the white tape gag. No luck, but I did find one more picture, which is actually four pictures combined. Hopefully, we can count on a French collector to eventually supply us with some video of Cecile--she is hot! |

Not worth it overall though I only quickly scanned a recording. Next week is all about S&M play and the old "is it fantasy or is it reality" legal thing; nothing solid in preview but lots of possiblity. Again, this is by a quick scan. |
