Saturday June 11 02:26:01 2005 Shrek 4D |
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but I never remember reading anything about it.
I happened to see the SHREK 4D movie at Universal Studios Theme Park the other day, and lo and behold, near the beginning of the 20 minute film, Princess Fiona (in her ogre form) gets kidnapped, and tied hands in front and slung over a horse. She remains that way through most of the rest of the film, as it cuts back to her scenes. Near the end of the movie, she is tied hands behind to a post, and is that way for a few scenes before breaking free. I know it's not much, and really only of interest to those who like animated bondage. But still, it was a pleasant surprise to see, and it might be of interest to some who wished that the two main movies had featured some sort of scene. |

Saturday June 11 02:51:09 2005 Sarah Brown/Caps Request |
As far as requesting caps g, I can see why people may get annoyed so I guess I'd be in favor of only requesting old stuff or hard-to-come-by stuff.
For instance, one scene I've been trying to get caps of forever is Sarah Brown's aparent scene from V.R. Troopers. I'm not sure if such a scene really is out there although the database shows it and I've actually come across a few episode compilations on video but have never able to see the scene or any caps from it. Does this scene qualify as one to request caps of? Is there really a scene with her out there? If so, does anyone have any caps? |

Saturday June 11 02:59:05 2005 Re: Cap/clip requests |
I just thought I'd throw in my two cents on this topic.
I have been a regular here at this site for eight years now, though I rarely post. (and when I have over the years, I haven't always used the same names) I apologize for that, but I am just not much of a online poster, regardless of the discussion. However, I'm very grateful to Brian, and all of the regular posters, who have made this such a great site, and valuable resource all of these years. Back when I stumbled onto the site as young man, I thought I was just some wierd "freak", since I liked seeing women bound and gagged in movies and books, and liked to act it out when given the chance. I quickly found out I was not alone, and that in fact, there are many of us who feel this way. This site has played a large role keeping me on top of the whole "scene" over the years, and linking me with other sites of similar interest. There is something comforting about coming here and just reading what everybody else has posted, and feeling a kinship with these people who I don't even know, since nobody I know in my everyday life shares my interest in this subject. It has long been a great place to come just to feel "normal", about one of my biggest, albeit secret passions. What compelled me to finally post on this matter, is the above "Cap/clip request" discussion, and the ensuing decision to ban all such requests on this discussion page. That is fine with me, since you are still providing an outlet for getting such things elsewhere. But I just wanted to say that I am grateful for all those who've freely shared their caps over the years, and put up with the irritating and sometimes downright ungrateful demands for more caps. Thank you for all that you've enabled those like me, who aren't really able to freely record and involve ourselves in pursuing our passion due to unfavorable eyes around us, to see. I wish there was some way I could give back to the community, but as I said before, I have to be very discreet about this interest, and have absolutely no clue how to cap any scenes I do have. I have an interest in making movies on a large scale someday, and hopefully I can reward you all with a movie that finally makes all of us completely satisfied, without leaving those who don't share our passion feeling like they've just seen a commercial bondage flick they have no interest in. I have already dabbled in making ametuer movies a bit, and though they aren't much to look at, they have afforded me the opportunity to "test the waters" as far as this issue is concerned. In closing, I just wanted to say thanks again to all those who have contributed so much over the years, and shame on those whose obnoxious badgering and "flame wars" have forced the Moderator to do what he has to, and tighten the reigns on a number of things here, such as this most recent Cap/clip request issue. Hopefully those people will take a step back and appreciate what they have here, rather then continue to think everybody owes them something. This is a great community, and I look forward to continuing to enjoy this forum and it's regular members, even if I don't post as much as many regs do. Any caps or links to caps freely given will still be much appreciated by me, whenever they may come, but I will also start to visit the other forum, and get acclimated over there. Thanks again Brian, and take care everybody! :) |

Saturday June 11 03:34:06 2005 Looking for a place to host my free clips |
I'm sorry for the off-topic, I hope this post is still in the interest of the community.
My free webspace provider has just down my site for this month because it has exceeded the monthly bandwidth limit. I can't stay with this provider anymore if I want to give free clips to the public. A while ago I have searched 2 days to find a provider which doesn't have a 1 MB file limit, and it was really hard to find this one. Also, I can't afford a paid webhosting solution right now. If anyone could contribute to the site and free clips section by giving some ideas on which host I should use (free) or even giving some webspace (be prepared for a bandwidth increase) I would be more than greatful. Thanks a lot: -Jos |

This is annoying, and when you're advertising clips on a place like Brian's, the moochers will be at your site roaring up bandwidth like pigs at the trough. The only advice I can offer is that you use rapidshare.de to post your clips for maybe a week or two at a time, and then take it down and prepare to post a new one. You can post pretty large files (I believe up to 30 MB?) there, and it's the easiest way I know to distribute clips. And by the way, thanks for sharing the clips anyway. All things considered, that alone deserves applause, 'cuz you don't HAVE to give something for nothing. |

Saturday June 11 09:00:02 2005 Cap/Clip requests |
> After nearly every scene on televison, despite plenty of alerts and possible
alerts here, almost immiedately you get requests. Even as a non-capper, I get annoyed, too! ---- I have to say that the previous posters on this topic have pretty well hit the nail on the head. Here's my 2 cents: Following the "80/20" rule, it seems that 80% of the Caps/clips requests seem to fall within one of the following categories: 1) From posters who've evidenced little positive contribution to any of the Discussion, VCR Alerts, Trading, Movie/Video alerts, Database Corrections, etc. page. I can recall asking for only one set of caps -- for an Italian movie that in over a dozen years has never been aired in the U.S. Little patience shown: 2) Recent TV series or movies. Most TV episodes will rerun in 3-4 months, and if the series has run for 3 seasons or more, it'll be in syndication within 2 years. New movies will be released onto DVD in 6 months. Little effort evidenced in their pursuit: 3) Scenes that are or have been posted on sites that can be found using links and search engines. 4) Scenes that can be readily be found by checking several video stores or NetFlix, etc. Longtimers here can recall buying VCRs when they were $250 -- for a 2-head version -- just on the chance that they *might* catch one of the scenes mentioned in the quarterly "Bondage Life" magazine ($8 per issue). 5) They don't quibble about a $50 expense to a Fortune 200 company for high-speed Internet access, yet won't support paysites asking for say, $5 - $10/month for Vidcaps/Vidclips. This from persons who claim that "Bondage caps/clips" are the "Most important thing in their lives". Some seem to think that producers should make bondage-fests for the *large* number of us. Yet, how many support these efforts financially, such as BUYING a movie such as "The Abductors"? |

Saturday June 11 09:34:37 2005 Caps/Clips and Those Who Request Them |
Yeah, I have to throw in here.
I think that limiting the requests to really rare stuff is probably a good idea. For instance, I recently asked about the Reiko Aylesworth soap scene (which I never even knew existed). I only asked after poking around on the net to see if I could find it myself (no dice). But you got people who show up 10 minutes after a show has aired and want caps! I mean, for God's sake, if you know a show is gonna have a scene and you want to see it that badly, watch the darn thing already. That's what I do. I'm also gonna go with something Kinky said. The people who dole out $50 for their internet access but won't spend $5-$10 on a pay site. I know this for a fact cause I actually run a pay site know (through SweetTies). I've already had several "I want more free samples" requests posted in the SweetTies forum. Hey, there's a 25 second freebie clip on the site--that's a longer freebie clip than most sites offer--and it's pretty hot stuff (two girls tape tied in bikinis trying to rub their tape gags off). If that ain't good enough for ya... Having said all of this, let me also say that I personally appreciate all the people who do maintain sites (Fuzz, Anubis, Biff, Major John and Jay L, etc). You guys do great and I salute you! |

Saturday June 11 11:31:53 2005 Question about a scene |
While I was reviewing an old tape I happened to find while compleating the annual spring cleaning bulldozing of my room, I came across and old tape. On this tape I found a scene that I can't identify. I know someone out there can. It shows a cute lady tied to a folding chair, with her hands behind her back, no gag or blindfold. Two guys are sitting at a nearby table, appartently guarding her. She is wearing a nice tight fitting outfit with a fantastic pair of boots. Somehow, she works the bindings on her ankles loose, and she kicks the loose rope onto the card table between the two thugs. When one goes to retie her legs, she kicks him in the family jewels (and we all know how painful that can be!) and manages to kick the other guy around pretty good, too (even with her hands still bound behind her!). That's why whenever I kidnap an athletic babe, I always make sure to wrap rope aroond her waist, securing her to whatever I tie her too! Well, anyway, do any of you good folks know where this scene came from? Thanks, in advance! |

Saturday June 11 11:48:58 2005 Re: Cap/Clip requests |
While I understand the sentiment, I don't want to get into a situation where I have to weigh the relative worth of a request based on previous contributions. There are a couple of reasons for this.
One is, I'd have to try to remember a poster's history (or research it) every time. Bleah. Two, I always prefer consistent rules that apply to all, old and new. That's because new blood is essential to the success of this site. If we get into a situation where the new people feel I'm unfair, they are liable to leave, and I don't want that. So that's not going to be in the cards. Naturally, those who work on caps can choose what they do based on their own criteria. |

Saturday June 11 12:22:26 2005 Reiko Aylesworth |
Don't know if this is now beginning to lean towards off-topic, but…
Todd 3-D wrote: "For instance, I recently asked about the Reiko Aylesworth soap scene (which I never even knew existed). I only asked after poking around on the net to see if I could find it myself (no dice)." Right. I mentioned this scene last week. I don't know if you've found it since then, but I seem to recall seeing it on Raffish's late and lamented site, some of which is maintained now by Canuck (http://www.abductor.com/raffish/canuck/). Since the scene is domestic, I don't think it is included, but it may still be on Raffish / Abductor's site. After the site closed, I cancelled my membership, and unfortunately, since cancelling my membership, a hard drive of mine crashed and I almost all of my downloads, so I can neither provide it myself, nor confirm it I saw it on Raffish's site. On the subject of paying small fees for access to scenes, however, it may be worth checking the status of Raffish on Abductor. If all the scenes are still online (and even if no new scenes are being added), then I think maybe the Reiko scene can be found there. (One qualification: As with many soap scenes, I remember it being an old video transfer, and therefore not up the quality we've come to expect. But it is long, and Reiko, I think, is very cute.) Who knows? Perhaps in the future we will be having this discussion in the trading forum… |

Every single time I hear about the VR Trooper/Sarah Brown DID scene, they describe it as "her bound & gagged" scene. Being a teenager from that time frame, I watched VR Troopers with my cousins & I can tell you she is NOT gagged in any scene. Yes she is tied hand & foot (hands never shown) but she was never gagged. Not unless there are deleted scenes. That's the 1 & best scene. The second scene happened later on in the series. Nothing big here: just Sarah & her co-star being wrapped up in a carpet. Hope this helps. |

This may be more technical than it needs to be but it is simple enough to get the size of an image on your server. You could use wget and identify, both free and both part of the standard distribution of most OS's. You would then know the size of the image and could bodiy what is in your DB. This could be done in real time when the thing is poseted or as a chrontab task on a regular basis. |

Every week, I get requests like this: "Hi, can you post Batman Forever/Bound/Single White Female? Ive been looking for months and am getting desperate." How can someone be desperate for a scene where multiple copies are in every video store in the world, and can be bought on used VHS or DVD for just 50 cents from Amazon.com? That, to me, is simple laziness or cheapness. Likewise for those who expect us to record, cap and post clips of a scene that hasn't aired yet, like a recent request for Block Party, which I taped but will not post here. Altho, most of those kind of requests seem to coming by the same poster. |

Just saw a scene in a 1965 episode of the Wild, Wild West that's not in the database.
Katherine Ross has her hands tied behind her in an open air wagon. Not much of a scene, because you can't see the ropes and there's no gag, but Katherine Ross was (and still is) darn good looking. Episode title is "The Night of the Double-Edged Knife". It also guest-stars Leslie Nielson in his pre-comedy days. |
