There is in fact a still. In the movie Hepburn knocks on the door of a dentist who decides she is an escaped lunatic and calls the police. In the next scene we see her in jail. The still shows her restrained in a dentist's chair with what look like strips of cloth, with the dentist hovering over her. I've watched the movie on TCM, which usually works from original theatrical prints. My guess is the scene was cut before the movie was released, or it was one of those stills they shot before the movie was made and the scene was never shot.

Very good horizontal AOH scene of Kristen Miller on a slab. She has a low cut sleeveless dress on kinda like the attached pic only purple. A lot of good cleavAGE shots (sorry, nothin for you gag snobs). Her feet are not tied. Repeats at 100 AM on both coasts, and the scenes dont start until about the last 45 minutes, with a bunch of other scenes in between.

I hope some hollywood producer exploits kristen some more before she gets old.

I saw this too. Not to sound too dense but isn't this the foreign film "Haute Tension" that was released overseas last year or so?? I think the dvd is already out!
I'm surprised they're importing horror films now. Isn't hollywood making (or remaking) enough of them as it is?? (Not that I'm complaining - a scene is a scene!)
Anyone know for sure if this is the original (but probably dubbed or subbed) version or a remake?

1. Yes, it is the same movie.
2. See the Database entry under "Haute Tension."
3. "Haute Tension" = "High Tension"

Re: High Tension
Here is the IMDB Plot Summary for
Haute tension (2003)

Two female students, Marie and Alex, set off to Alex's parent's secluded homestead in the country to relax and study. Come nightfall, Hell pulls up at the front door. Alex is now bound and gagged, taken off, with Marie eluding the intruder. Can she save her friend's life in time? Or is everything all that it seems...

Great shots of Alex tightly cleave gagged with a rubber hose!

And I forgot to mention Maïwenn Le Besco has a nice big mouth and a great set of pouty lips made to chew a gag!

Yes, that's a good point. However, the villains don't generally carry water pistols, and when Uma went all whoop-ass on the Crazy 88, it looked pretty cool... So it would be nice to see some director pay similar attention to showing convincing gaggage.

Ong Bak scene
Just got back from watching the latest hot oriental action flick, Ong Bak (think a gritter Jackie Chan), and it has a very minor hands behind back scene for the female lead, near the end.

Scene lasts for about 60 seconds, and there's some struggling. However the damsel is quite tomboyish, and a terrible actress (try not to laugh when she's "mourning" her dead sister earlier in the film), so probably one for those who just have to have every scene, ever.

Damn good kung fu flick, but please dont go for the bondage.

Also, click on the pic to be taken back to the thumbnail gallery. There's a few more pics of her.

I have Thunder and Lightning on tape, taped from TV, in its entirety. Great quality. If anyone wants it, you can have it for 6 bucks, including shipping. First come, first served.

Drawing Down The Moon
Being bored on a Sunday Morning, I decided to to a general GOOGLE Image search for "TIED UP", and came across these three photos from an Independant movie called "DRAWING DOWN THE MOON," appartently starring Walter Koenig from the orignal STAR TREK series. It's not in the database. Has anybody seen this movie? I think the actress's first name might be Gwyneth, or maybe that is her charactor's name. It seems like a pretty basic "cops and robbers" movie from what I could tell from the website.

After Check the IMDB, I found the DID is Karina Krepp, and this 1997 movie is her only screen appearance. Still, a pretty good start, eh?

No DVD available in US; major release in theaters on June 3rd.

Their is only one movie made in France in 2003; being released now by Lion's Gate, probably with English subtitles and probably cut to make an R rating though there was talk of releasing it NC-17 (but we all know why they probably won't do that).

Personally, it looks extrememly violent and bloody, the girl b&g looks bad and rubber tubing and chains doesn't do a thing for me (and blood turns me off).

Brenda Starr, Reporter (1945)
Guess what I got to see this weekend at SerialFest? That's right, the previously lost Brenda Starr, Reporter. Bad news is, unless you were there, it's probably gonna be a long time until you get to see it. The person who showed it promised the collector he got it from that he wouldn't sell it. Oh, well.

Honestly, you're not missing much. Joan Woodbury is blindfolded once, but is never tied or gagged otherwise. The only bondage in the serial is Brenda's fat roommate Abertha, who is bound and gagged in a chapter. The famed still where it looks like Brenda is about to be gagged by two henchmen is nowhere in the movie. Sorry, guys.

OK -- the Rosanna storyline in Bangkok FINALLY appears to be starting on ATWT. Plus, we have the added intrigue of is she/isn't she a recurring character now. Soaps -- the deception continues.

Maybe we'll even get to hear the old joke about the man going through the turnstile too quickly.

Please say it's not the guy...
Friends:

Saturday's Star Ledger angrily reviews a film with "aberrant sexuality" called "Ma Mere". That edgy babe Isabelle Huppert plays a recently widowed mother of an adult son. She decides her son needs a sexual education, and so gives him a "crash course in women, men, swinging and sadism".
That peaked my interest. The reviewer then added "...Sado-masochistic orgies, complete with nooses, gags, and whips made from electrical cords? On the agenda for tomorrow." The reviewer never actually SAYS this is shown, though the specificity suggests it does. Worse, we must now wonder if some lucky gal (or gals) get this full treatment, or -- ulp -- the guy, played by Louis Garrel of "The Dreamers"?

British readers may be interested to know that this film is available on DVD over here under the alternative title of Switchblade Romance. (Cert 18 Subtittled)

I bought my copy back in Februrary though i confess I've not so much as looked at it yet so I can't say if the scene is any good
