It was a real quick shot. I also went searching for the trailer, found a bunch but it didn't show the gag scene. It did show her being chased throughout the movie. This trailer aired tonight on Fox. Likely will turn up again. |
Tuesday May 31 00:50:28 2005 Frederick Forsyth's Icons |
There was a short scene in tonight's "Frederick Forsyth's Icon" on the Hallmark channel.
A woman was tied with her arms behind her to a chair and gagged with wide black tape as another woman finished tying her ankles (close-up). She was wearing a brown pantsuit with a white blouse. There were a couple of quiet whimpers. Woman was not seen again after the initial tie-up. Scene occurred about 43 minutes before the end of the movie (which was 167 minutes into the movie). Movie is scheduled to be re-broadcast on June 11 at 9:00 pm eastern time. |

This movie is in the Database. |

She had her head down in the few seconds of the scene. Next Sunday, Hallmark resumes the Mystery Woman series, with a new Kellie Martin movie. A female guest gets a nice black glove hand-gag. There should be at least one other Leah Thompson movie in this series as well. Hallmark promoted 4 movies for each star, but only aired 3. |

Tuesday May 31 07:48:59 2005 AFFLACK! Commercials |
I might have missed an earlier post, but has anyone caught the new Afflack! commercial. It's a spoof of Bride of Frankenstein and it shows a hot actress knocked out and strapped to a operating table. There is a "putz" strapped next to her but the putz in this case is the Afflack! goose. Shes wearing an old fashioned white dress, btw. |

Tuesday May 31 10:30:23 2005 House of 9 |
Does anyone know anything about the 2005 movie 'House of 9'. It stars the model Kelly Brook and a gorgeous English actress called Susie Amy. It also stars Dennis Hopper. The subject matter according to imdb seems to centre arounf 9 people kidnapped and sealed in a house together.
Sounds promising.....anyone got any info? |

I think I can add some information to Dean1's answer on the above question: The full title of the Movie is
"Crazy Cop Sousa wa nen" (1995). You'll find more information on this movie on the following link: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=PCP-121. The DID in the scene should be Noriko Watanabe, who is mentioned on the Puresilk-BBS; she is counted as cast on the above link, too. Hope I was able to help |

Never liked the scene all that much. Her hairstyle made her look a lot older. |
Tuesday May 31 12:41:12 2005 WWE RAW Notes |
Victoria has reverted back to her psycho villainess character and she'll be stalking Christy Hemme. Could be worth keeping an eye on.
Stacy Keibler is with 'superheroes' Hurricane & Rosey and she was wearing a very hot Catwoman type outfit last night. There might be an angle where she's kidnapped and has to be rescued. The WWE has improved a lot lately in having DinD's instead of putzes. |

Nancy was always on my wish-list, but once she had a scene, I just didn't think she made a good damsel. Any other damsels people really hoped to see only to be disappointed that the actress in question didn't make as good a damsel as you thought she would? Another one for me was Cybil Sheppard. TV Guide ran a photo of her gag scene in "Moonlighting" but once I saw it, I didn't think she looked that great. |
Tuesday May 31 14:03:54 2005 Natalie/OLTL outside possibility? |
Today, Natalie (Melissa Archer) on the ABC soap "One Life to Live" is talking about going undercover as a decoy to catch a serial killer. I doubt anything will come of this, but those of you with VCRs, Tivos, etc., may wish to monitor the situation over the next couple of days... |

Perhaps we didn't air all the show's episodes that aired in the United States then? Say that, as recall here the only "distressed" were the fella and the mutt. Soon as they got separated from the girls, the spooks would show up and chase them around. So suspected Buffy would have been the brave one having to bribe the mutt with treats to continue. To me, it more "they snuck a scene in there. Cool." |

Tuesday May 31 19:06:27 2005 Freaky Friday |
I finally got around to watching the DVD of "Freaky Friday", the remake of the 1970's comedy. While I enjoyed the movie, I was dismayed at the utterly inept handling of the scene in the restaurant with the roll of duct tape.
The pretext of Lindsay Lohan's character being kidnapped by her friends to incoporate bondage into the plot was admirable. The look on her face when her girlfriend unpeels the roll of duct tape was priceless. What was disappointing was her not being shown bound and gagged. In a scene subsequent to her being threatened with being bound and gagged, her friends are shown being hauled in by security officers at the function. The security men present ropes and the roll of duct tape. Lindsay Lohan is even holding a strip of duct tape, the implication being that she had been gagged with it. I didn't see an imprint of her lipstick on the adhesive side, however. Did the presence of the ropes and the strip of tape impute that her friends had succeeded in binding and gagging her and that she had been rescued by security? Or did security discover and foil the potential abduction before Lohan was bound and gagged? Was there a scene in which she was bound and gagged that was somehow excised from the final print of the movie? Is there a storyboard with an illustration of her bound and gagged? A scene in which she was bound and gagged would;ve been a logical inclusion in the plot. |

Tuesday May 31 19:23:58 2005 Looks like the Rose won't be blossoming this year. |
I just found this out a few minutes ago, but it looks like Billie Piper, playing Rose Tyler on the new Doctor Who series, might very well be leaving the show after the end of the first season ( which I believe finishes at episode 13, "The Parting of Ways" ).
Looks like my hopes of a decent scene are fading, since we're already up to episode 11 now with only a few tease instances of DiD, and one half-decent scene involving mechanical restraints. BUT, doesn't mean nothing can happen in the final stretch of the season. I found it a bit weird they had Captain Jack tie Rose's hands for "nano-treatment" .. Very offhand. Could be a prelude of things to come. Either way, the doctor is also leaving. What a shame, I really like these two as a combo. This is a very enjoyable series they're walking away from. |

The news broke about the guy playing The Doctor leaving some time ago, but this is the first I've heard about Billie leaving too. :-( High turnover of Doctors & Companions is an element of the show, but it'll be a shame to see Rose leave the tardis. Let's hope they send her off with a nice DiD scene. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky there'll be thirteen episodes for Season One of the new "DOCTOR•WHO". The BBC & other UK companies sometimes put out three to five episodes of something & call it a "series". :-) ...which reminds me. Have any of our brethren or sistern in the Green & Pleasant Land seen "Foyle's War—Series III"? It won't air on this side of the pond 'til... who-knows-when. Any chance Sam (Honeysuckle Weeks) gets B&G'd by NAZI spies or Black Marketeers? ...even a little? I've always been a sucker for a perky English Rose in uniform. :-) |

The articles I read on Outpost Gallifrey said she would be back for at least 3 episodes, possibly up to 7. We'll see if she gets a "full treatment" in that time. ;D |

Tuesday May 31 23:15:04 2005 To Tell The Truth |
While watching GSN's (Game Show Network) BLACK AND WHITE OVERNIGHT, where they show old game shows from the 1950's, last night, I happpened to come across an unexpected scene invovling an escape artist named Celeste Evans. I had never heard of her. I added it to the database:
Record number: 11401 Title: To Tell The Truth Medium: Other Actress: Celeste Evans, 2 non-actress contestants Description: Celeste, known as the Mistress Of Magic, appeared on an early episode of this game show, possibly in 1957. She was a magician and escape artist. She, as well as the two imposters, wore straightjackets during the introductions (What is your name, please) and all throughout the question period. After the questions, instead of asking the real Celeste Evans to "please stand up", Bud Colyer, the host, had all three stand in front of the podiums to try to get out of the straightjackets. There was a brief struggling scene as all three tried to remove them. ONly the real Celeste managed to free herself. One of the other contestants was a dancer in a burlesque house, and she did some nice struggling. After introducing themselfs, the other two left the stage, still in the straightjackets. There were no gags invovled, but it was a cute and unexpected scene. All three had great legs!! ------------------ I hope this is a proper entry. It is a mainstream scene, and since handgags are allowed, I suppose Straightjackets are, too! |
