Carmen Electra as WW? So wrong on so many levels Captain Trevor will all due respect. That's like putting Pam Anderson in the lead for the role of Tracy in a T.J. Hooker retrospective..hmm...hmm..OK Carmen it is!

Carmen Electra can barely speak, let alone act. Katie Holmes is not anyone's idea of a warrior woman. Lynda Carter was too old in 1990. J Lo and Catherine Zeta-Zeta are too old now. They are going to pick a relative unknown, as they have done with the other DC comic movie adaptions of late.

Jennifer Connelly. If they want to go younger, they should try Rachel Bilson. Of course, I may be somewhat biased, as they are favorite faking subjects (no gallery for connelly as of yet tho)and neither has been satisfactorily (in my view) bound and gagged onscreen.

And let's not forget Micheal J. Fox's main squeeze getting all chained up as a promising, young Olympic Biathelte hopeful in THE ABDUCTION OF KATI SWENSON.

Title: The Abduction of Kari Swenson (1987)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Tracy Pollan

Description: Cute sportswoman is kidnapped by crazed mountain men. Sounds promising but it isn't. Near the beginning of the movie they take her with them on a
short rope attached in front to her bound wrists. There's a second 'scene' later when she's tightly chained to a tree at her waist. No gag

Stacey Hayes
Last night on the Howard Stern show on E!, the big-busted Stacey Hayes, from GSN's LINGO, got strapped to Howard's tickle chair. Typical Howard Stern stuff. She has an annoying British Accent, and was a very loud screamer!

Now if this isn't a perfect example of the necessity for a gag, I don't know what is.

all time Queen??
I'm sure we have all talked about this before but...

exactly who is Our alltime B scene Queen??

I would have though Stefani Powers but according to "Ye Goode Ole DB" she has 25 entries.

Kate Jackson has 28.

Teri Hatcher has a whopping 32!!!

IMHO
"handgags" shouldn't count

Old Timers, Cut scene from A Deadly Vision
How many of you old timers remembenr the Damsels in Distress Guide that was on Yahoo in the late 90s? I stumbled upon it - lots of sites we've lost since then.

I also stumbled upon some screencaps at an older site from A Deadly Vision with Kristin Davis. Unlike what we see when it airs now, these show the now-cut scene of her being gagged by the villain.

Red River Valley
Just watched the 1936 Gene Autry "Red River Valley" on Encore Westerns. The database has a scene listed (Record 3786), but nothing in the movie. There is, however, a still I got a long time ago from Movie Star News showing the actress gagged. My guess is that this was shot before they started shooting the movie. I'm wondering if the person who posted the database entry had actually seen something, or was just basing the entry on the existence of the still.

As the plot moved, there was no place that there could have been a scene that was just cut out for a TV showing. However, I can see a place where a scene could have happened if the script had been written a little differently, so maybe it was one of those things where they changed it as they went along.

That's one of those scenes that really made an impression on me when I was young. I think it was the first time I'd seen a woman get her mouth taped on-screen. I remember the camera angle showing Stephanie Kramer tied up and pleading with the mysterious abductor while in the background, two nameless coeds sit timidly bound and gagged. The next shot you see the tape coming towards the camera and then the close-up as the tape is put over Stephanie's mouth. The scenes themselves are very brief and dimly lit, but the camera shots are what made it so memorable.

Someone EVENTUALLY had to do it ..
And by that I mean, go thru "Miss Congeniality 2" and get educated. I'll reasurre you, however - I did NOT pay money and go see it in theatres. At any rate, here we go.

Around 30 minutes in, we get out first action. Kidnappers have taken Cheryl aka Miss USA (Heather Burns) and Stan Fields, the uh .. Pageant guy (Shatner). In this scene, they drive up to this dam in a pickup, with the two hostages in the back. The kidnappers soon pull back a blanket in the trunk revealing a bound, blindfolded, and gagged Cheryl (sadly, ditto for Shatner. I tuned him right out, though). Brief scene, just a quick two or three close-up shots.

Next, about 15 minutes later, Cheryl is shown tied to a chair alongside the Pageant director, in preparation for a ransom video. We've all seen the cap of this scene, as its posted on the IMDB.

Following this, there are a few brief shots of Burns gagged again, still with Shatner obviously, until the end, where we get our "moneys worth" so to speak. In the climax of the film, Burns is tied to a pole inside of a pirate ship designed for some kind of Las Vegas show. Shes gagged, still. As water fills the inside of the sinking ship, theres some good struggling and mmphing, FINALLY.

Luckily for us, when Sandra Bullock's character busts in for the rescue, she helps Shatner out first, and we get a few key seconds of solo Burns action, with the red bandana cleave.

And that's about it, sorry I'm not good at describing scenes, this is the first one I've ever taken a stab at. If you like what you're reading, check it out, its not half bad, so long as you have the power to ignore some serious putz factor.

Btw, the entire length of the scenes, Burns is wearing her Miss USA dress, sash, and crown, until the final scene which I described, when she only has the dress.

Steve Harvey's Big Time Challenge
A woman magician just did the "remove your jacket without untying yourself" trick on this show. Unfortunately I only caught the last 15 seconds or so. Any chance of this ever being repeated?

Did they also have a guy in a shiny diaper lying on a bed of nails while his wife danced on his belly? If so, then this was a repeat. My local TV section said this was a new episode and Zap2It listed a different repeat. I've been waiting for a repeat of this one... Aarrgh.

"Alias" possible
Jennifer Garner gets KO'd via punch from her boyfriend on Wednesday's "Alias." This could be one of those protection storylines, where she's secured to prevent her from going on a dangerous mission.

Kojak scene alert
Did anyone catch the new epidsode of Kojak tonight. I just catching the last 15 minutes and we got a blonde damsel. She is tied to a chair but not gagged. Her wrists are bound behind her back behind the chair with duct tape. The damsel has mouthed off to her female captor so we'll see. Did anyone else catch the beginning?
