| As I recollect, the were a number of :)'s in Beaver's original posts, which led me to believe that it was a joke. The fact that he described Katie's outfit accurately means nothing more than he's seen the same production stills as the rest of us. Moreover, the fact that the joke was straight-faced rather than broad (ie, stripped to her bra and panties, hog-tied and cleave gagged) doesn't mean it's not a joke. (Although, again, the "well lit" bit seemed to me a particularly suspect detail…after, of course, the "cleave gagged and hog-tied".)
Of course, there's an easy way to end the speculation: How 'bout it, Beaver? Obviously, you've got some folks rather anxious over the topic (and I would be too, if I thought it was for real). Joke or no joke? |

| There was a pretty good chloroform scene in the episode, as well as a pretty decent handgag (17 minutes). Rose is dressed in a victorian dress, corset and everything.
No actual bondage yet, but it looks like this show has some decent potential. |

| Why do most people here think the scene is not real? Whose to say there's not a scene with Holmes in the movie? The Database at the current moment of this posting has 11,325 scenes listed in it...so that means there have been 11,325 scenes of bondage, and obviously more unknown and unposted, in movies, T.V., etc. But apparently adding a scene with Katie Holmes must not be able to happen even though it's happened to other actresses approx. 11,325 times, but Katie Holmes...no, of course not, LOL! Remember Disturbing Behavior...it wasn't a great scene but it was bondage none-the-less. |

| Okay boys - I've gone out on a limb for this - EXPENSIVE! and literally sitting on pins and needles all week waiting for loan approval to make it all come together and afford to do TWICE weekly updates.
Anyway, to make a long story short, the upside is that Major John's is updated with two new clips - now twice weekly. Downside is .... World Bank chairman Paul Wolfowitz put his foot down and is demanding that I post the Katie Holmes -hogtie/cleavegagged episode, or they'll only loan me 2 billion to cover bandwidth costs.... Ya gotta bail me out boys ......!! |

I could buy the magazine, memorize the title or walk away. I think I'll walk away and then hunt for the magazine on the internet.
If this is not a hoax I'll be as happy as the next guy but everything about this magazine is a mystery. Guys like us don't forget titles even if they are in Japanese. |

Why didn't he buy the magazine, and why would he flip through a magazine written in a foreign language? I also think a domestic magazine would have stills from the movie before an imported magazine would. Domestic foilm companies aren't goin g to give exclusive pics to a foreign film whoile excluding the dozens of local fanboy magazines printed in the U.S. I'd say it's a hoax, and unfortunately the rumors and speculation have already begun to flourish. |

The board has been flooded with bogus crap all week, including the stuff on "The Skeleton Key" where two posters claimed to have seen pre-screening 4 months before the release of the movie. All I can say is that I work in the L.A. area in the theatre business and there was a Japanese magazine convention of some kind that took place some time ago and I do remember seeing poster boards of pictures. I never actually saw the picture Beaver was speaking of but I did many screencap-like posters from certain films, none of which I recognized though. I'm telling all of you now, no B.S., the show Beaver speaks of is true...was there a picture of Holmes B&G? I can't say...but there was a mag. show that took place. I actually considered buying a piece of work from it but never did. |

| Beaver, not to beat a dead horse (maybe too late), but I was saying that I assummed your post re, Katie Holmes, was a joke, and only added that, if my assumption was right, it was pretty straight faced, as opposed to say, a truly outrageous claim such as "hog-tied and gagged in her underwear". I didn't mean to imply that you had said she was in her underwear.
Anyway, at the time I posted, I hadn't heard anything from you previous to your original exchange, which had subsequently been labeled a hoax by other posters (and, frankly, considered a good-natured hoax by yours truly). For that reason, I proposed that you clarify your intention, just in case you weren't joking. Now you have. Personally, I'm willing to take your word for it. The fact is, I'm going to see the movie either way, and I hope to enjoy it either way (although I'll certainly enjoy it more if your scene is included). As for the overall plausibility of the claim: the Japanese are pretty hard-core about whatever it is they're into. I can definitely see some Batman-freaks getting a hold of stills that haven't made it through official domestic circles. From the following article, they are clearly "into" Batman Begins: "Batman Begins" Premieres in Japan at the U.S. Pavilion of the 2005 World's Fair WASHINGTON, Feb. 17, 2005 - The U.S. Pavilion and Warner Bros. Pictures Japan today announced that Warner Bros. Pictures' highly anticipated feature, "Batman Begins," will make its Japanese premiere at the World's Fair, Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan. This screening is one of five pre-release screenings scheduled for Summer 2005 in Japan, and is part of a series of entertainment events that the U.S. Pavilion will offer throughout the Expo, which begins Mar. 25, 2005. Now the world's fair runs through September, so that doesn't necessarily imply that it will be previewed before its domestic release. But as it so happens, I will be going to Japan sometime in May. While I'm there, I will endeavor to locate the magazine. To that end, any info you remember about it would be helpful. |

Publicity departments can be funny (as in unfathomably dense). The Official Web site for "House of Wax" sat there as a useless splash page for months & months, they *finally* decided to post some content, & there's not a hint of much of anything sinister much less DiD-ish in the photos... then they decide to share bondage photos with Fangoria! I wouldn't put it past the "Batman Begins" (or whatever the title is) hacks to decide to share with a Japanese magazine, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for them to give Hogties-Holmes photos wide distribution. |

I dont know if that is the studios effect to try to convince the audience she was glued shut, or just an unfortunate camera angle that we cant see the tape clear...uh..er. However, if you pause the clip when she is looking toward the ceiling (and mmmphing I might add) you can see her lips and the surrounding area have been flattened as if by tape. Anyway you shake it though, Elishas "wrapped" up another full Bound and gagged scene...and looks like it may actuall be quite leanthy...we only see her scene after she has broken part of the stretcher apart, obviously there must be the drama of her getting in that senerio and the gut-wrenching struggle to see if she can break free...all this BEFORE she is apparently strapped to a chair to be (maybe) covered in wax..... | It's nice to know that the new Nancy Drew, Girl Detective series is continuing the tradition. In book #11, Riverboat Ruse, Nancy is handgagged, chloroformed, and bound and gagged. This time around, we get to read about Nancy's plight from her point of view, since the new stories are told in the first person. |
