Yes, it was a coup securing a scene, but it made for wasting a lot of time recording a show for a few seconds of return (remember, this was the days before Brian's database). Also, the thrill of the chase always was mitigated by what mom and dad would say if they found VHS tapes full of mainstream bondage scenes. Having grown up with the thrill of the chase (fighting with two younger brothers and the parents for the TV and VCR), I'll take the current situation. It's not all peaches and cream, though. Collections of TV shows are not cheap -- a season of a show can set you back at least $70. You have to ask yourself if it's worth it. |

Oh, I agree 100 percent. Collecting now is much better than it was before thise site spoiled me. I may skip on minor scenes that don't interest me as much as they would have a decade ago, but there are 10 times more scenes that are much better that Id have never even heard about without this site and people like you, Fuzz, and all the others Ive traded with the last few years. These days my collection is more emphasized on quality of DiD scenes rather than the quantity. Its a leaner, meaner, collection than it used to be. Hell, I'll take one Medicopter scene over TEN Teri Hatcher scenes any day. |

But if there WAS a scene with Linda Cristal, what where the circumstances of her scene? How was she tied, how was she gagged? Are there any hints for searching?? |

Hands in front for horse control, bandanna OTM, IIRC. She may have been b&g inside, too, but the show was on in someone else's house (ain't it always the way?), so I couldn't give it my undivided attention, and we went out before the end. >Are there any hints for searching?? Those with unlimited time and stamina and unmetered accounts may care to check out http://www.thehighchaparral.com/epguide/htm There were 98 eps, of which, according to another site, 34 are known to be still in existence. The one where she mmmphs for us and hops around while tied trying to get free and then trying to avoid getting shot? The one where she has those killer closeups of her gagged face with all those great expressions? The one that lasts several minutes? That's a GREAT scene IMO, Teri's best. True, Medicopter has had some fine scenes, but I think Teri's bell tower scene beats the best Medicopter scene. |

I am not sure if it was the lovely Ms. Cristal, but I seem to recall a pretty good scene on HIGH CHAPPARAL (heck, it might not have even been HC!) where the damsel was kidnapped by some sort of traveling show, or Gypsies or something like that. She was kept bound and gagged in the sleeping compartment of a trailer. I couldn't wait for them to pull back the curtains to reveal the damsel. |

The things I recall most about "the old days" (Which for me was early 80's) was how incredibly expensive and frustrating everything was. It ain't cheap now, but back then for a regular working guy the prices for everything bondage-related was high.

... I'm once again looking to expand my serial collection. (I've already ordered "Tiger Woman" with Linda Stirling.) I noticed a copy of a 1949 "Batman and Robin" serial at Target, but alas, it has no DB entry. Does anyone know if it has simply been overlooked in being added, or if it is one of the rare serials without a female B&G? |

Yes, Vicki Vale gets tied and gagged by the bad guys about halfway through. Not a bad scene at all. I'll add it to the database as soon as I find out the episode title. |

Number 6 is definitely
Title: Loving (1983) aka L.O.V.I.N.G. Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Noelle Beck but I'm not sure Which Loving scene and you didn't ask but number 10 is Record number: 815 Title: Charlie's Angels Medium: TV Series Actress: Lory Walsh Description: Episode: "Angels on Skates" (4.10) Lory plays a cute-as-a-button teen heiress/roller-skating queen who's kidnapped for ransom. She's shown tied up on a bed (wrists crossed in front/ankles) and detective gagged with a blue bandanna. Lory also had a scene In Night Rider that would have been MUCH better if she was gagged like she is there |

As I remember she wasn't gagged. She was wearing a Spanish style riding suit and black gloves and her hands were bound in front. There was nobody around to hear any screams. I remember being disappointed. > > She may have been b&g inside, too No, the bandit is a former lover of hers. They do a LOT of talking during the episode because while he wants a ransom from the Cannons he hopes to talk Victoria around to coming back to Mexico with him. There was one episode of Chapparal with a B&G scene but it wasn't Victoria. |

Sunday April 17 15:32:59 2005 WHAT MOVIE? |
I remember as a wee lad a Randolph Scott western in which he confronts a blond in a hotel room. At scene's end he siezes her and begins to gag her with a black scarf. Next scene has her bound hands-behind and detective gagged lying on her bed. The maid comes in and asks, after freeing her, "did someone tie you up?", and the damsel snaps, "no, I always sleep like this!" All I can recall from TV listings whenever I saw it was that its year of release was 1957 or 1958. The title completely escapes me and looking at IMDb descriptions of RS's films for those years has been no help. Any one else ever see it? Remember the title? |

How many soap fans will buy a 3 gazillion disc set. They used to make "Best Of" type tapes, like Best Weddings, Daytime's Hottest Couples, Most Memorable Scenes, etc. I doubt they would have done Best Bindings though. |

Remember the title? ...I'm glad someone else brought up this one because I was beginning to think my fertile imagination and/or scene creep were the reasons that I couldn't get this scene off of my mind. I can't remember the name of the movie either, but I'm sure Randolph Scott starred. My best recollection is that the film ran on Encore-Westerns Channel about 3-4 years ago, and I've been waiting to see it again ever since. The scene of interest occured early on, perhaps within the first 15-20 minutes, and though it's brief [about a minute], it's outstanding. I've gone through the complete IMDb filmography for Scott, and nothing rings true. With bated breath I await more input on this one. |

I'm sure the soap execs have discussed this with the DVD craze but they're powerless to market this stuff. With no "season" and 250-plus episodes a year it would be impossible to package those into DVDs. The "best weddings" offering would be interesting, since they're usually is someone getting tied up to prevent interference. Of course, "best daytime bondage" would sell in these parts, and I'd bet it would make more money than "Knight Rider" Season 2. |

All 98 episodes of "High Chaparral" are still available in syndication. Fox is the distributor. In fact, Hallmark has been running that 98 episode package for at least a year. Before airing on Hallmark, it aired on the Family Channel and in the early 90's it aired five days a week on the now defunct and greatly missed Foxnet for about three years. |

Don't forget all those Hasselhoff fans in Europe. I think they'd buy anything he did, even a DVD of his best moments on Young & the Restless (Holy oxymoron, Batman!). According to Allen Marburger (who is one of the first people to catalogue DiD scenes) there is a scene of Linda Cristal ("Victoria") bound and gagged in a desert setting. At any rate, it is worth investigating. The High Chapparal is currently being shown on the Hallmark channel. |
