| You can call me crazy, delirious, desperate, imaginative, or hell, just outright stupid, but guys, I may have found something quite interesting here.
I saw Sin City tonight in theatres, and I was so impressed, that I immediately got it off the network on Direct Connect as well, for safe keeping. Now, this IS a long shot, so bear with me. While in the theatre, I noticed ONE shot in which Alba MIGHT have had a thin cleave gag goin' on. It's the one just after he shoots her up and theres a rather distant birds eye view shot of Hartigan, Junior, and Nancy. When I looked at the movie again this time in my VLC player, I paused at the frame for a prolonged look .. and I dare say I just MIGHT be right. There's hope, fellas. Wait for that uncut DVD release. Of course, this may all just be me going nuts at 1:45 AM. Let's hope not, though, eh? :D |

| I rented "Ring of Darkness" with American Idol castoff Ryan Starr.
She is way hot and it looked like it had potential. For those of you who might think the same thing save your 4 bucks and don't bother. It is creepily interesting in an "America's Gory-est Car Accidents Caught on Home Video" way. The movie's not really scary but Ryan is. She makes Elizabeth Berkley look like Meryl Streep. *fullbodyshiver* |

| Nothing on V.M. last night but previews for next week show her being dragged up a flight of stairs (looks like a motel)by the guest start, Jonathan Taylor Thomas.
Lets hope he is a guest VILLIAN and he's about to "tie up a loose end." Let me go on record now saying I think this show WILL DELIVER ~eventually~ if it lasts. |

| More seriously this time: How about Kim Smith or Josie Maran? They're both budding young actresses who've already had a bit roles in comic book type films (Catwoman and Van Helsing). I don't know how tall either of them are, but I think they'd fill out the costume just fine. |

Just a reminder: Joss Whedon (the director of the WW movie) has said he intends to take WW back to her roots, probably meaning Paradise Island, probably meaning the origin of the amazons & WW. I expect a *YOUNG* Princess Diana, meaning late teens or twenty-something. Given the Whedon crowd's success with casting unknown or semi-unknown young actresses (Buffy the Vampire Slayer ring any bells?) I'm perfectly content to sit back, take a chill-pill, & let him work his magic. I suggest we all do the same. :-) |

I recognize a lot of those comics, but many of the more recent ones are new to me. Now I'll have a clue where to look the next time I'm at a good comic books store. Of course, whenever anyone starts any kind of ratings system, things get very subjective. (Spider-Woman #5 only gets 3 stars? Man, in my opinion that's the best comic book scene ever!) Another thing about that scene in the preview was that although he was dragging her along, her hands were not already tied behind her. At first glance when I was watching it in rewind, I thought her hands were tied but when I watched it in slo-mo her free hands were clearly visible. If he were taking her to a run-down old motel to tie her up to keep her out of the way, you'd think he would've tied her hands so he could take her to the motel in the first place. |
