TECHNICAL QUESTION
I've got a question for you guys who seem to know infinitly more about computers than I do. I don't think the moderator would mind. It involves the Project Greenlight shorts. I managed to download the two shorts with the best scenes. My question is, is there some way to burn it on a CD or DVD so that I can play them on a DVD player as opposed to just watching from the computer. Thanks in advance for any info.

Tonight's ANITA NO TE RAJES was pre-empted on the West Coast. My MSN TV listings show an ep airing Monday at 6PM ... then nada for the next few days. I'm assuming that's tonight's ... can anyone confirm?

Also, after the sequence on LA MUJER EN EL ESPEJO ended, I switched away ... but flipped back in the last ten minutes and saw what may have been an additional scene. The blind female character (who was overgagged a while back ... as well as having red hair, now blonde ... unless I'm confusing actors) was being menaced by another woman. The next time she was seen she was alone ... so threatening may have been the extent of it. Did anyone catch that full sequence?

Saw it tonight. I really liked the movie, but it goes exactly like it's been previously described here. Meaning the gag didn't make it. Oh, well. The bondage is pretty loose, but might be a fan of those who like thick rope. I personally enjoyed the "Gail" bondage scene, even though it was a little loose. Just something struck me I guess.

Overall, great movie but I can't recommend it if you're only looking for DID action.

I'm computer challenged, but I was able to make this work, so you should be able to do it assuming you have the right equipment. You need a computer with a DVD burner. You add the clip to a file and burn it to a blank DVD. This will then play in your TV set's DVD player. You'll lose a little quality because the screen will fill out on your TV, but it's not too noticeable. You can put dozens of clips on a blank DVD.

If you've got an older computer without a DVD burner, you'll need to upgrade. I recently bought a Dell with the burner for about $600. It's well worth it, for the upgrades, speed, added features and moving clips to DVDs. It'll pay for itself shortly. Also, the clip must be in quicktime or Windows Media to transfer. Real Player video won't transfer to a DVD, at least not that I can figure out.

I find it interesting that many of you agree with the choice of J-Lo, yet criticize the choice of Catherine Zeta-Jones saying she's too mature for the role. They are both 35. I'm sticking with CZJ.

I'd like to see the producers go with Nadia Bjorlin
(currently Chloe on DAYS OF OUR LIVES). I think she's
only 24, tall (5'9"), and down-right gorgeous. No B&G
scenes that I can recall, though.

Brittney Powell played a female beach volleyball player who is kidnapped by a deranged fan, and tied spread-eagled to a bed. When her laments become too vociferous, he gags her by stuffing a cloth into her mouth.
While we're on the topic of kidnapped female athletes, who can forget the inimitable "Marathon Angels" episode of "Charlie's Angels" in which two attractive runners, are kidnapped and bound and gagged in the back of a van? To enhance our aesthetic delectation, the ladies are wearing snug short shorts.
I also recall an episode of a defunct and short-lived series called "The Insiders" in which a gymnast is kidnapped and bound and gagged.

Katie Holmes would be an excellent choice. I would love to see her or Catherine Zeta Jones get the part.

I also strongly suggest getting NERO 6 ULTRA, which makes burning video CD's and DVD's as easy as it gonna get.

If your file is a Real Media type, you'll need to get a converter program. I suggest EO-Video, which not only converts .rm files to .avi or mpeg but joins them together as well.

BTW, sometimes you'll run into a Real Media file that looks like this: filename.rm.ram. This file can't be converted that I know of, but it's an easy fix. Just change the extension name by dropping the .ram past so that it reads filename.rm. Now it's in a convertable format.

Re: Wonder Woman
My vote would be for Tsianina Joelson formerly of "Xena: Warrior Princess" fame. She's young, a real hottie, and has a very "Amazonian" physique. She had one or two brief scenes on Xena (never full treatment) but good things are worth waiting for.

Alba's scene was a bit better than i expected. Her arms were actually stretched out a bit higher (she was kneeling on the floor I believe) than the picture we've all seen at the beginning and while she was getting whipped. I thought her whipping expressions were pretty good btw. Unfortunately the angles were bad (no full body shots) and I didnt like the slip she was wearing. She stands up a bit when she denounces her tormentor, which is why we see the "I can touch my nose" bondage is the much-seen pic. Grade: B

Except that the "many of us" (two people) who wouldn't mind J-Lo in the role never criticized the choice of CZJ... Either choice would be fine; it's just a matter of personal preference.

Life Aquatic/Skeleton Key
Did anyone get their hands on caps from "The Life Aquatic" where Kate Blanchett was hogtied? The DVD doesn't come out until May, but taking a shot.

Also, the Skeleton key movie trailer hit the net last week. Movie looks cool, but can't see any shots of Kate Hudson B&G.

Point well taken. Of course I was generalizing perhaps too much but when I mentioned CZJ the "general" reaction was "too old" but with JLo it was "yes..perhaps..". As a matter of personal preference I find CZJ much sexier. Enough of that then.

RT-News writes: "Virginia Madsen will star in "The Wrong Element" with Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany for Warner Bros., Variety reports. The film, to be directed by Richard Loncraine, involved a man who steals to pay the ransom for his kidnapped wife and daughter. Madsen was recently nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar for her work in "Sideways.""

Re: TECHNICAL QUESTION
Some DVD players won't play burned disks.
Generally newer ones will, but older ones won't.
A PS2 won't.

DVD-Rs should play in pretty much anything, but DVD+R's might (again, depends on the DVD player) not unless you get a drive that support "bitsetting".

You're going to lose quality during the encoding process, but, to be quite honest, a standard TV is at much lower resolution than even the worst monitor out there, so it isn't that big of a deal. HDTV is a slightly different story, but virtually nobody has it.

I think the easiest way is to just get the following
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000204SWE/002-8242493-1025625?v=glance
Plays DVD-Video, video CD, audio CD, JPEG image CD, and CDs loaded with MP3, MPEG-4, or DivX 3.11/4.x/5.x files
Target also has them for $65 or so in store. And yes, plays your burned dvds.

Might not work with older caps off the web, but should play pretty much most caps (except for rm and their bastardized format) made in the last 2-3 years off the web.

Well, actually it's not that simple-- in the books, she's not gagged in the whipping scene anyway, so those stills really told us nothing. It's the scene that *precedes* it where she sports the gag in the book, and which left some folks disappointed by the film.

And given that they didn't omit it, but rather shot it differently (with a drug injection and loosie hand-in-front tie, instead of the wrists/ankles/cleave gag from the book), I wouldn't expect it to turn up on the DVD either.

And FWIW, loved the movie.

Interesting site item
There is this site I check out on occassion (I have no idea how I found it) called AmIAnnoying.com. It basically has blurbs on just about any celebrity (actor, musician, model, wrestler, etc.) and tidbits on why they might be considered annoying ("she smokes"; "he has a really nasally voice", etc.). Each person has a picture & vital stats like birthdate, etc. I funny little site that is kinda neat.

Anyway, I was reading the one for wrestling divas and was a bit surprised at the pic they used for Joy Giovanni. VERY interesting, considering all this pictures of her floating around that they COULD have used!!!

Dart, my man, you are a genius! How could I have forgotten Tsianina Joelson! Actually, that's rather easy to do...she really isn't that famous. She is, however, a stupendously gorgeous brunette, with a splendid athletic physique, being a former cheerleader and current fitness model. The only questionable physical factor is her height.
The problem is, the producers of the movie will most likely want a very famous actress with the stature of at least Catherine Zeta Jones or Katie Holmes in order to perform well at the box office. They might take a chance on Ms. Joelson, a relative unknown, but this is highly unlikely.

"SNAKE KING" on SciFi
If you watch the SciFi Channel, you've probably seen ads for "SNAKE KING", another in their long series of Giant Snake movies. It permieres next Saturday (the 9th), & stars Stephen Baldwin, Jane Heitmeyer, a tribe of amazonian natives, & a Big Honkin' Snake. Anyhoo, towards the end of the ad there's a voice-over:

"They took her. They're going to feed her to him."

My guess is "her" is Jane. Let's hope for a nice damsel-bound-for-sacrifice type scene!

I wouldn't insult J-Lo personally, but professionally I couldn't agree more. Lets face it folks, she can't act for sour apples- and while this is often not a problem for those who share our particular interest, it would be nice to see (what will almost certainly be a big budget affair) turn out to be a good movie (as well as catering for us!)
What about Lucy Liu? Yeah, I know I will get replies about W.W. not being Asian, but she isn't Latino, either. It would be awesome to see L.L. get the full treatment- and she can ACT, as well as kick butt!

L.L.? Yick! Did you mean Linda Lavin of Alice fame? For some reason I doubt she'd be young enough to get the role. Perhaps as WW's mother?

alien apocalypse
does anyone have any idea if Alien Apocalypse is set to air again in the (hopefully) near future? I had it recorded, watched it, cued it up to the bondage scenes to transfer to my master, then forgot to take it out of the VCR when I went to dinner. After dinner I forgot it was in there & recorded over it with some other 2-hour movie! I tried Sci Fi channel's web site, and Yahoo TV but neither showed it airing in the next 2 weeks.
