Monday March 14 00:58:01 2005 Nicole De Boer scene? |
Dead Zone ran an episode tonight on USA and is picked up for 22 new episodes for season 4, I'm assuming will run this summer. Checked the DB and didn't see anything for Nicole De Boer; that sucks. I did notice, in a search, some movies and TV series (Canadian) I have never heard of. Does anyone know if she has a scene? Thanks. |

I sure wish I'd seen this episode. I didn't realize that the beautiful Olga Sosnovska--formerly "Lena" on All My Children--had joined the cast of MI-5. I don't think she ever got close to any DiD-situation on AMC, but I'm glad to hear she's on a another show with great results. LV, thanks for the post. I only hope A&E shows a repeat sometime in the future (for those of us here in the US). There's nothing listed in the next couple of weeks. There is a small "catch-up" video clip on the BBC site that shows the final climactic scenes from the episode and you get a bit of the last scene with Fiona (as described in the DB entry). Hopefully this isn't the last time Olga finds herself in a DiD scene. |

This was the season finale, so a repeat would be expected. When they started the 3rd season episodes on A&E, they led in with the season premiere with the 2nd season finale. One could figure the same will happen when the 4th season begins later this year. |

Monday March 14 08:51:36 2005 Scene Added |
Since I seem to be the resident fan of this scene and it wasn't in the database yet.....
Record number: 11229 Title: One Life to Live Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Kassie DePaiva Description: Week of February 21st - 25th 2005. Continuing the storyline from Feb 4th, Blair (Kassie DePaiva) is locked inside the trunk of a car. She is tied hands in front to her feet with black cord and gagged with a strip of silver duct tape. She is tied in a sort of fetal position so that she cannot reach up and remove her gag. Struggling and mmphing as she tries to attract attention when she overhears the car is to be crushed. Shots of her bound feet and hands, closeups of her face, scenes of her grabbing a flashlight, trying to kick at the sides of the car trunk, and eventually grabbing an object to cut through the cord, free her hands and rip off the duct tape. She somehow manages to escape the trunk before the car is crushed. She is wearing black boots, black pants and a green jacket. Well lit considering action takes place inside a car trunk. Nice bondage scene that lasted an entire week. |

But the MPAA is becoming more and more paranoid about such things. They even hire people to watch for people taping the movie audience with night vision goggles. Folks have gone to prison for it, and about two weeks ago, one of them died in prison. Likewise (and this is sort of coming from another thread), it seems a bit foolish to be advertising that you have a DVD quality cap (or any cap) before the DVD / VHS release is out. People have gotten a Cease and Desist letter, or even been sued in federal court for having a file with a name similar to a movie / song. |

Monday March 14 14:42:47 2005 Black Orchid comic bondage question - Fuzzweb site |
Does anyne know the issue number of the scene from the comic The Black Orchid that is currently shown in all its glory on Fuzzweb's comic bondage page.
For those who havent seen it, it features a woman pretending to be a superheroine who gets left bound and gagged to a safe door, as a bomb slowly ticks away (a fav f Nancy Drew) and lasts for over two issues. I want this scene :) Speaking of comic bondage, the recent issue of Catwoman: When in Rome has our fav feline tied hands above head by villianous Cheetra. No gag unfortunately and the scene is short. But hey its Catwoman. Also by the end of the issue, cats is seemingly under the influence of the Riddler, so perhaps there some hope for more bondage later in the series |

I am requesting help from those in the UK on Messiah 2. I already posted a VCR Alert for us here on stateside. Messiah 2 is being broadcasted as a two hour movie here. I am verifying that in the UK it was shown as two parts because the database record (#8298) describes the feature in two parts.
My apologies for the late notice because I got slightly depressed that my new favorite crime show from BBC called "The Night Detective" aka "55 Degrees North" finished its six episode run. Then, I perked up that Messiah 2 is next on BBC America. |

First Scene: After be subdued by Chloroform, she is tied front hands in the back of a car. Really? Different here then. Main reason I don't go to the neighbourhood theatres anymore. They taken over by the school crowd. Becomes obvious most of them more interested in getting each other's attention, then in the damn movie. A steady stream in and out to the treat stand too. Bet I could go up by the screen and hang moons without anyone noticing. Good thing is that the Rogers store normally has the DVD on the shelf a few months after it in the theatres. These two discussed (Hostage) will likely be available by June. If they flop? Possibly in two to three weeks. Imagine same in the States. No real need to go in and Cap. |

It stars Kristen Miller (Bridget Fonda role) and Brooke Burns (Jennifer Jason Leigh role.) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448120/ According to a Kristen Miller website: "..get ready to see Kristen in the movies again, because she's currently filming the sequel to the 1992 thriller Single White Female for Columbia Tri-Star, which will be a direct-to-video release. She plays the Bridget Fonda role in an updated re-write. Stay tuned for more info and news on Kristen's new project. Thanks to Kristen's father for the news!" Interesting, an updated re-write. |

> Anyone saw Hostage and can give me a quick summary? Just saw this today. The first scene occurs early in the movie and it's of the blink-and-you-missed-it variety. A woman who was being held hostage by her crazed husband (or boyfriend) is found by Bruce Willis tied in the corner with a rag shoved in her mouth. She' already been killed. There's another scene later in the movie where Michelle Horn is bound with packing tape back-to-back with her little brother. She's not gagged in this one. In between, we see the brief shot of Willis' wife and daughter bound and cleave-gagged in the back of a van. The kidnappers send him a polaried of the two gagged which is shown a few times in the movie. Later, after unsuccessfully trying to free themselves, Michelle's bound to a lawn chair and gagged with white tape. The scene's not that long, but there is a brief close-up of her gagged. Later in the movie, she's bound spread-eagled (clothed) on her bed. Towards the end, Bruce's wife and daughter are shown tied-up with sacks over their heads. There apparently gagged because you hear the "mmmmphing!", but it's not shown. All in all, this was a lousy movie and it's not worth going to see it for the tie-up scenes. Michelle Horn is not ugly, but she nowhere near hot that's for sure. She's a little chubby too. As far as Willis' daughter, she makes Michelle Horn look like a supermodel in comparison. I can't believe Demi Moore is her mom. Wait for the DVD, and even then don't be in a hurry to get it. The stuff that's been shown on TV the last few weeks blows what's in this movie away by miles. |

I watched a new episode of "Totally Spies" last night, and in this episode, the Spies rescue one of their colleagues from another branch of WOOHP, the organization that employs them. This new Spy is named Britney, and she's a gorgeous brunette who wears a blue jumpsuit.
Anyway, the spies escape from their predicament, and find the luscious Britney bound and gagged in a room. They liberate her, and escape from the villain's stronghold. It is revealed later in the episode, however, that "Britney", the Spy whom they rescued, is actually a MALE villain disguised as Britney! I was dismayed by this revelation, and am wondering whether the aforementioned scene merits mention in the Database. How should a scene where the damsel in bondage is really a man in disguise be classified? |

I just finished watching "Entertainment Tonight". They had a short bit showing scenes and a few comments from some of the actors is "Sin City".. Jessica Alba.. "It is going to blow the audience away.." and they showed a few clips I hadn't seen before, though nothing with our girl Jessica bound.
BUT! They basically said "Come back tomorrow night (which would be Tuesday) for more on Sin City." I'm thinking this might be one of those featured films that ET promotes with stories on it every night during a particular week. At the very least there will be more on it tomorrow. Worth running tape on just in case IMHO. And Frank buddy, I remember those times well that you mentioned. But you forgot to mention our buddy Barney Rubble who was there too.
