After they come back, Sydney says "He had his men secure us in a lab. By the time we got loose, he was gone." At least she didn't say "He left us in the lab bound and gagged. By the time we got loose, he was gone." Worst tease since Willow had a piece of duct tape coming right at her mouth on "Buffy" only to come back from commercial and she wasn't even tied. I didn't cap the preview for next week because the Alias web site has caps up already plus an extended preview clip that doesn't show anything different in the tie-up. I suppose it's possible Sydney is gagged but probably not likely. Have to question already why the bad guys tied her hands in front and left her cell phone on her. | The film is a let down for us. Everytime we see her we see Shatner. She is cleave gagged early and we catch a glimpse of her hands. The best is at the end where they are tied to poles. She is ungagged second anfter asking for help. You see her hands untied.
The interesting thing is that there are outtakes during the credits. Many of the shots are not in the film. Most are of her and Shatner. Hopefully there could be some payoff down the road on DVD. |

On the Alias web site, under promotional photos, there are stills of Garner sitting in a cemetery with hands tied in front. In the clip, she talks about being brought to the cemetery and then knocked out. So, she'll be KO'd twice next week, once in the car and again at the cemetery. The guy whose dead in the coffin with her is alive and next to her in the cemetery. No gag in sight but I guess it's still possible it could have come off already. |

| I'm also tinkering a bit with HDTV and higher quality clips than I usually get.
Click on the link for a comparison between my usual and the possible future size of caps (actually might be bigger than that, but I'm running into hardware issues, my computer is too slow to decode anything above that in real time, and encoding to divx takes a really long time). The file sizes go through the roof, but I think you'll agree that the quality is impressive. I know her face in that pic is still a bit blurry, but when you consider that it is less than 1/20th of the frame.... |

I've got a HDTV Media computer that I custom built. The thing produces 9G/hour of recording HDTV! The recorded stuff is gorgeous, but it eats space at a fierce rate. The only good news is that the resultant file can be compressed a whole lot and end up looking pretty good since the original file didn't have noise in it (the bane of all compression algorithms). |

| Is this a mainstream film or commercial video? The DiDs are all commercial bondage video actresses who usually work for Wave Productions and Siren Tales.
It's in the database. I have seen some of these girls dvds for sale in the mature audiences section at Best Buy in similar type of films that also have bondage, but I considered them commercial videos so didn't enter them in the database. |

It guest starred Kathleen Lloyd (who incidentally was bound and gagged herself on an episode of "Simon and Simon") as someone obsessed with Johnathan Hart. She kidnaps Jennifer and ties her up, but does not gag her. Is it possible that there was a gag in a preview that never made it to the actual episode? Just wondering. |
