Lifetime movie
The damsel was captured with about 30 minutes left and tied to the end of the bed frame with thin rope. No gag. She did break loose and escape and there was some slight struggling with her hands tied for a couple scenes.

Forgot the best details. That damsel would be Sherilyn Fenn in "Deadly Isolation."

Thanks Major John and Todd. Would have been great to get a facial shot of the older girl (if there is one at all, as I haven't seen the movie I can't say for sure), but thanks for getting the caps up so quickly.

Well, since no one's objected to how I'm viewing such a scene, I'll assume that there's no problem in adding one of that type should the situation arise in future.

Wire in the Blood
While channel-hopping last night I caught a few seconds of "Wire in the Blood" (ITV1, 2100-2130) in which a lady was chained to a cellar wall and ballgagged (possibly the first in UK mainstream crime drama?)

There were two documentaries I needed to record at the same time (yeah, so much for "programme planning", and my elderly mother was present, so I couldn't watch WITB, which I find sick and nasty anyway, but at least British TV has notched up another DiD scene.

Episode is called "Synchronicity."

"It was really horrible," says British actress Serena Scott Thomas of playing Bruce Willis' kidnapped wife in the upcoming big-screen Hostage. "We spent a lot of time gagged and with our hands tied behind our backs. The director liked to do a lot of different takes and a lot of different angles."

I'm confused. Let you know what? The scene airs on Wednesday. Are you just looking for caps of the scene? Obviously, you have the clip or will get the clip on Wednesday?

I agree on the scene. Very good and one of the stickiest tape-gags I've ever seen. Looks like it's painted on her face.

I wish the roles were reversed here, since Kristin already has a couple full-treatment scenes on her resume. Of course, the remake doesn't mean they'll be bondage, but since it's direct-to-video, chances appear pretty good.

Tobe Hooper wasn't involved with the chainsaw remake, so he couldn't have "screwed it up".

Hooper WAS involved with the original Chainsaw Part I, Chainsaw Part II, Eaten Alive, and Night Terrors, all of those four films contained bondage. So to say Hooper will "screw it up like he did before" is misleading, because he's given us more than most directors give in their whole career.

I think he's expecting us to watch the show, record it, make caps, and then post them so he doesn't have to watch the show himself.

There has been some really great stuff found on direct to video films. Cold Heart, the Perfect Tenant, Hillside Strangler, Big Empty, and more.

Marcus Nispel was the director of the remake and he really screwed with it, given that the original film and the script of the remake had B&G scenes.

The script didn't have an bondage in it, that was an unauthorized script written by a fan and had nothing to do with anyone involved on the film. Nispel didn't "screw" with it, he directed it exactly as the script told him to.

Two types of scenes i love
I'm a fan of scenes that have the damsel bound and gagged and wearing a leather jacket (with jeans is better). Can anyone think of any good ones off hand.

Also love when tape is used around the head, especially when you get to see it applied. (ulee's gold is a classic!)

It's also possible that there may be no bondage whatsoever, if one recalls the two "Cabin By the Lake" movies. The first one featured an excellent bondage scene at the conclusion, with two damsels bound and gagged side by side, being led to their demise by the villain. The second one had no bondage, to the best of my recollection.
The writer of the sequel to "Single White Female" might not incorporate any bondage whatsoever in the plot.

In the "I Know What You Meant" dept, I believe it was another "Twin Peaks" brunette alumna [Lara Flynn Boyle] who starred in Red Rock West (1992). An underrated movie, with Dennis Hopper (surprise!) as a contract killer who enjoys his job.

Not sure if LAPD jackets are made of leather or not, but Heather Locklear wore hers during the T.J. Hooker ("Obsession") episode.

"Eaten Alive" (1976) was one of Carl McGuire's picks for "Bound for Hollywood: Ten Best Movies" in Bondage Life magazine's 50th issue (1993).

Speaking of Comic Books, does anybody here remember a magazine called "CAR 'toons", a car related "MAD"-type magazine. Each issue started out with a "Krass and Bernie" cartoon. I seems to recal one where the bad guys kidnapped Bernie's girlfriend, and the ransom was to help them build a muscle car! It was hilarious. I think a few frames showed her tied to car hood!! Too bad the magazine went away without notice in the early 1990's...

HArry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The fourth in the HP movie series will be released in November, and if it follows the book, there will be a scene with at least one mildly good scene. Harry's friend Hermione gets used as a prop in a challenge, and is tied to a post by the merpeople. Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, is growing onto a cute young lady, and since the scene takes place underwater, she might be in some sort of bathing suit. We can but hope! For those that care, there will be a gu there as well.

eight years ago, this site was officially launched when
this message was posted to usenet:

I have started up a page dedicated to discussion on the
topic of bondage scenes from mainstream media. The page
doesn't have a lot to it yet (I only worked on it for a
few hours so far), but it does have forums for posting
about trades, VCR alerts, and general discussion.

This is not a porn page, there aren't any graphics (at the

a place for people interested in a specialized subject to
communicate.

I'd be happy if you'd check it out, and please feel free

Its a great movie, I recently read a book about Hooper's early horror films, Marilyn Burns was interviewed and said Hooper didn't complete the movie and she directed the ending of the film, including some of her bondage scenes when she is rescued near the finale.

If you have a chance to pick up the DVD I highly recommend it. No special features, but the quality is MUCH better than any of the VHS releases. Brightly lit, clear image, razor sharp lines, I was extremely surprised.

True, but the Cabin by the Lake's weren't direct to video, those were made for television movies.
However, The Hitcher 2 is a prime example of a direct to video sequel not having bondage when the original did, so your point is still a valid one.
I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

I believe I found this forum back in 1998, shortly after I got on the Internet. Since that time, this web site has been one of those handful of sites that I absolutely must visit at least once a day. The information and resources are unparalleled, and the chat is pretty cool too. :)

All I can say is I lasted six years as Moderator of a similar forum, at the end of which I was so relieved to be free of the responsibility. It was an uphill battle most of the way and very much a thankless job on a day-to-day basis. I, for one, truly appreciate the effort it takes to maintain a web site of this magnitude, not to mention keeping everybody in line and on-topic. Thanks for all of the hard work Brian. This place truly is the beacon of our community, at least in my estimation. Happy anniversary!!

Young Blades
Surfin' around and just barely saw a bit of a scene on PAX "Young Blades". Female musketeer Karen Cliche (I swear, that's her real name!) and a damsel wearing 18th century clothing are tied to a tree. The damsel thinks that Cliche's character is a guy, and is smitten (well, she is wearing a hat...). I arrived as they were being released by the other musketeers. Anybody else catch this?

Oh, and happy birthday, Brianspage!

Eight years? Has it ONLY been that long? I seem to recall last year being some type of landmark anniversary. Wasn't it 10 years?

Eight years would only put this site up around 1997. I did a quick scan of the DB and found movies like "Head Above Water", "Fear", "Gridlock" and "Bound" came out in 1996. I know I read about those scenes here on Brian's Page.

That sounds like La Mujer de Madera which had a little scene going last week, but the DiD was rescued on Friday. I recorded it yesterday and there was nothing.

Project Greenlight
Caught a quick scene tonight on Bravo with the show Project Greenlight. The premise of the show deals with first time movie directors who are trying to get a film produced. The movie executives are picking the directors who each produced a three-minute film for them to watch. Damned if out of the blue they show one with a scene! Please remember this takes about seven seconds. It shows two hot girls (blonde and redhead)one with a knife and one with an electric taser taunting a girl in a white dress who's gagged with duct tape. One of the girl rips the gag off and thats the whole scene. Came on about the 10-15 minute mark. I wonder if they would show the whole 3-minute film on the Project Greenlight site or on Bravo's site?

Re: Happy Anniversary
To quote the original Number One, "let's do a little time computation, shall we?"

Say on average four times a day, two minutes a visit, 365 days a year plus two leap years is:

(4 x 2 x 365 x 8) + 16 = 23,376 minutes = 390 hours = 16 days.

Man, the internet sure is a black hole, isn't it?

That's not factoring in "Anything Goes".

Happy Anniversary.

Attn: Fella Familiar With Chinese Language
Believe Mark?

Had a nice little scene on Chinese soap "Armed Reaction IV"

Wrists appear behind, rope around upper body, ankles together, and a white tape gag- thick in width, but thin in sense you can see her lips through it.

Like some assist with ID'ing over on Database Corrections.

Main problem having,
OMNI sometimes runs the sub-titles in one of the official Chinese languages other than English.
Case with this one.

Run the plot best as follow on DB Corrections for the ep.
Fellas are going to want that, as wading through tons of romance to get to the scene.

Any assist appreciated

Rest of the fellas here.

I'll work on getting caps up for you.
