I flipped back a couple times because it looked like Sims and Cox were involved in this and I wasn't sure if the husband-wife team were criminals or just part of a stupid storyline. This show is so bad it's almost unreal. Every week, you get 3 storylines. One is a casino caper/crime involving Big Ed/Josh, another involves Marcil doing something stupid, and the last one involves Sims and Cox doing something stupid. For a consolation prize tonight, Sharon Lawrence caps from "Desperate Housewives" are up, plus one of this week's updates, Krista Tesreau in "Guiding Light" from the late 1980s. |

Tuesday March 29 09:39:26 2005 Alias |
I saw a preview for Alias. It showed Sydney (Jennifer Garner) with her hands tied in front while in a trunk. She was using her teeth to try and get loose. I like scenes where the woman uses her teeth to try and get loose. I remember when I was a young'un I saw a Six Million Dollar man episode where Farrah Fawcett got her hands tied above her with a scarf in a motorhome. She was trying to get loose by using her teeth to loosen the knot. It left an impression on me to this day, almost thirty years later. Damn, I've gotten old. Does anyone else like it when the woman uses her teeth to try and get loose? |

Been following the (Taiwan?) soap "Young Dowager"
Odd little scene where this man and woman are each (transported?) in a combination wheelbarrow-cage just big enough to sit in with their heads sticking out of the top. Trying to get a better look at it to determine if the rope used to keep the cage shut is also holding their wrists together, to qualify for a Database entry. There also another quick scene where a woman may be bound just before she gets knifed? Thought the cage fans here may want to check it out, if available in their neighbourhood? |

There was a scene like that in the early 90's in a film called Freeway with Reese Witherspoon. Reese wasn't the one being arrested tho, it was her crackhead mother. I may be a little off on the details, but I beleive she was soliciting to an undercover cop and fought her arrest so they hogtied her and put her in the back seat of the police car. |

Tuesday March 29 13:37:20 2005 Helen Hunt Scene |
Love Helen Hunt. Saw her brief scene in the sequel to Trancers and the other scene from that T.V. movie where she gets handcuffed briefly. The database lists a scene for her from the series Amy Prentiss. I've heard of this show, it's rather old and she was young when it was on. Does anyone have any idea if there are any screencaps of this on the web anywhere? |

She's also tightly over-the-mouth gagged with a leather band. She's about to be sacrified, but gets rescued in the nick of time. Zimmermann wears a harem girl outfit (bra and pants), struggles and mmphs a lot. A good, albeit short, scene." Tuesday March 29 15:13:31 2005 fantasy fetish scenes |
Re: "I meant the actresses scene incorporating all the unlikely fantasy fetish elements you never thought you'd actually see, as if you had scripted and directed the scene the way you always fantasized about as being too far fetched to come true."
Although I think they could have found a hotter actress for the role, China Chow's scene in The Big Hit pretty much fits the above category. I mean, an asian cutie in a school girl's uniform cleave gagged, hopping around, carried over the shoulder, stashed in a trunk… with a few upskirt shots, to boot? Yeah, that's definitely one I'd fantasized about but didn't expect to see - at least in a mainstream American movie. And don't get me wrong: I'm not looking my fantasy fetish gift-horse in the mouth. China Chow is cute, but imagine a Kelly Hu or Grace Park in the role. Another qualifier in this category would be the two-part storyline Sweet Valley High in which each sister gets bound and gagged in separate episodes. In this case, it was not so much the bondage itself (I prefer cleave gags, and while the first sister's candystriper uniform was nice, I could have come up with a better outfit for the second), but the notion that BOTH sisters would get the treatment in back to back episodes that closes the deal for me. Certainly, I had hoped that one or the other would get the treatment, I'd never dare hope that some bad guy would tie up both. Now, if the SVH book with the cheerleaders cleave gagged had been made into an episode, I'd be overwhelmed. Lastly, I'll have to go with the Mike Hammer "Halloween" episode with Shannon Whirry. From the database: "Whirry is costumed as a plaid-skirted schoolgirl, complete with knee socks, saddle shoes and pigtails. She's captured by the serial killer stalking Hammer and his friends. Not only does the guy chain Velda's wrists over her head, but he strips her down to her bra for good measure. She's also cleave-gagged with a thin white cloth." What can I say? I guess I have a thing for over-18 babes dressed as schoolgirls. Again, the gag could have been thicker, the lighting better, but never in my wildest dreams (well, maybe in my WILDEST dreams) did I expect to see the oh-so-hot Ms. Whirry in such a predictament. I like the idea of Charisma Carpenter as Wonder Woman, she's sexy and we already know from Angel that she knows how to chew on a cleve. Alternately how about Martine McCutcheon, you may not be overly familiar with her but she was big over here (in the UK) a couple of years back and she's got a body that cries out to be restrained. BTW i had a collection of Wonder Woman newspaper strips as a kid, they included one story where WW returns to Amazon Isle to take part in her favourinte sport - a girl roping contest, and yes that is exactly what it sounds like, girls on horseback lasooing and hogtieing each other. Sadly i doubt that particular aspect of the original will make it onto the movie whoever stars. |

Tuesday March 29 19:40:26 2005 Re: Oscar winning actresses who have gotten the full treatment? |
Paul wrote with regard to Jessica Lange:
" How could you forget 'King Kong?' OK, it was badly done, but it counts." And he reminds us that: "(Ingrid) Bergman was also chained to a post in 'Joan of Arc.' " Indeed she was, among other things. And certainly no one who wasted the price of a ticket will ever forget how bad the first "King Kong" remake was. The originator of the thread, however, asked how many Oscar-winning actresses had gotten "the full treatment"-i.e., had been both bound AND gagged. Frankly, I was surprised how few of them had been, in addition to the fact that no actress as yet has won an Oscar for a performance involving a "full-treatment" scene. Come to think of it, has anyone even been nominated for such a perfomance? Oh well, off to the IMDb again... |

Tuesday March 29 20:41:11 2005 So all of you don't spend all night tossing and turning... |
...wondering if any actress ever earned an Oscar nomination for a performance in which she was bound and gagged, one did-and it was one all of us should have remembered. Samantha Eggar was nominated for Best Actress in 1965 for "The Collector." In case you're wondering, she-along with Julie ("The Sound of Music") Andrews, Elizabeth Hartman ("A Patch of Blue"), and Simone Signoret ("Ship of Fools")-was beaten out by Julie Christie, who won for "Darling."
And I also should have remembered that both Eleanor Parker ("Caged," 1950) and Jessica Lange ("Frances," 1982) received Best Actress nominations for performances in which they were gagged but not bound-although Lange was bound but ungagged in other scenes. And here's some more "gee, how about that?" trivia: The actress who played the matron that gagged Parker in "Caged," Hope Emerson, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance, making her and Parker the only captor/captive combination to both be nominated. By the way, Emerson didn't win either. |

I'll keep it simple: Jessica Alba is NOT gagged in Sin City.
Got lucky and snagged a ticket to a preview tonight. The scene plays as shown in the comic book but only her hands are tied (in front). The 'Yellow Bastard' is shown injecting her at the beginning of the scene, presumably something to keep her immobile. The whipping scene is intact, as we know from the stills. She isn't nude either, although I doubt that's any surprise. That being said, damn good movie- and the most faithful comic book adaption we'll likely ever see. |

Tuesday March 29 23:26:50 2005 Sin City |
This is from an Interview that Robert Rodriguez did with the Dark Horizon's Web Site:
Question: What's going to be on the DVD? Robert Rodriguez: We shot the full stories of the books, and I knew we could truncate it down knowing that we weren't going to lose any scenes, eventually they would all be available for people to see. So the DVD will come out as a theatrical cut, and then there will be a separate disc that's got the individual episodes separated, with their own title card, and you can just watch, The Big Fat Kill from beginning to end in its full cut, as a single story, and then switch over and watch The Yellow Bastard, and that's 45 minutes, I'll have all the material back in, so it will be like the experience of picking up the books, where you pick up one story and you read it from beginning to end, and it will have all the material in it. So you can shuffle your own version of the movie and watch them all separately. Question: Did you cut things out? Robert Rodriguez: Yeah, there were some things we'd cut out from there, just to pace it for a feature, because they weren't supposed to be three stories put together when he first wrote them, they were all separate books. So things to kind of pace it for a feature and keep it on the through line, didn't have as many - Marv, Mickey Rourke, doesn't go and visit his mom now, like he did in the book, and get his gun and things like that. But we shot all that, and it's all great stuff. It just wasn't necessary for the feature, we wanted to be more direct in that. But it's not going to feel like - when you watch that separate disc, with this material back in, like, 'Oh, I can see what that was cut.' They're really terrific scenes, action scenes, a lot of stuff that people will find - I think it's going to be somewhat revolutionary to see those kind of scenes that were cut out, be put back in another format, because they seem perfectly fine, and they were, they just needed to be taken out for the long haul of the feature. So I think it really gives another life, and another experience, more akin to reading the books, by doing that. That's what made it easier for us to say, 'Let's just shoot everything, prepare all the effects, and then if we edit stuff out we're not really cutting it out, and people are never going to see it, they'll be able to see it in a purer form, in a different format. Question: Will it be a package Benicio Del Toro: A package. A package. So before everyone goes on & on about how there was J. Alba gagged Scenes Cut out of the Movie.......In all likelihood it will be on the Complete DVD Version of the Movie |
