They covered most of the angles pretty well through the rest of show, and Blair wasn't really active till the end so I think I can live without that one shot. |

There's some question about whether a scene really exists. It is a foreign film, to which someone commented:
"I just come to see this movie. The only true thing in this post, Lisa Martino is the main actress. None of the described scenes is true, there is no scenes of bondage in the film." The description sounded rather detailed to be a phony, but it's possible. Also perhaps a mis-ID by one or the other. If anyone has any knowledge about this, please post over on Database Corrections. Record number: 7396 Title: La Croix du Fau (2001) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Natalie Roux, Lisa Martino, Unknown Description: TV movie from France about a psycho who kidnaps women to trap them in his mansion - sort of a "Cabin by the lake/Collector" French style with heavy psychological undertones. His first victim is Elaine (Roux), a sweet brunette hitch-hiker in cut-off jeans, hiking boots and white shirt. He overpowers her in his car, cuffs her wrists behind her back, tape-gags her and puts her into the trunk of his car. Later, we get to see her in a barn, her arms chained over her head to a hook in the ceiling, her feet chained, sitting in the hay, struggling and moaning. He comes over to her, takes off the tape and handgags her for a few second. She promises not to scream by nodding her head, so they engage in a little conversation. He then regags her with the tape and leaves her alone in the barn. Unfortunate ending for this first damsel. She's later found strangled in the woods (fortunately, the killing isn't shown.) Next comes another damsel, seemingly a Swedish tourist (probably played by Francine Dubois?) strolling down the street. Well, she gets more adventure than she bargained for. She doesn't want to enter his car, so he comes out and after a bit of struggling has the cuffs on her. He picks up the roll of tape on the frontseat and gags her (kind of sloppily). He tries to push her into his car, but she kicks him in the balls and makes a run for it. The guy pursues her at first, but then gives in at the sound of another vehicle approaching. Of course, the cops are already on his trail by now, but he still manages to trap a third victim in his house. It's the local teacher, a cute brunette (played by lead actress Martino), who came here snooping around looking for a missing schoolgirl. In fact, the girl hadn't been kidnapped, but that'a different story altogether. Martino is overpowered in the kitchen, and he cuffs her wrists behind her. They engage into some kind of conversation, then at the sound of the police cars approaching, he cleave-gags her with red cloth and ties her to a chair. After a few more moments comes the shoot-out. Nice struggling and moaning from the hostage during the whole thing. She gets rescued in the end. Damn, this movie was great! The director must be one of us. |

It's all about a love story between a teacher (Lisa Martino) and a bonesetter (Vincent Winterhalter). |

I saw in the database that there were a few scenes in this movie. I was going to buy the DVD, but there are 2 versions: R rated and unrated. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Thanks for your time. |

Tuesday February 22 13:00:45 2005 Possible Alert - Anita: ¡No te rajes! |
In the last twenty seconds of last night's episode, main antagonist, Ariana (Natalia Streignard), was chloroformed and whisked away by Anita's henchman. (Anita is a really sweet girl, but she's been on a revenge kick since being falsely deported and nearly dying.)
Previews for tonight don't look to good, with her standing over the unconscious henchman, then seeing driving away with a gun, but there isn't too much else on at 7pm worth taping. Anita: ¡No te rajes! (Telemundo, 7pm eastern) |

Tuesday February 22 13:21:27 2005 Wonder Woman Movie a go! |
This is from the NY Post Online: WONDER Woman" finally got the green light. A movie version of the comic-book character has been buzzed about for a year, and now spies say Warner Bros. has finally told producer Joel Silver to go ahead with the project. Silver is said to already be in negotiations with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" writer Joss Whedon to pen the script and is looking at Kim Basinger and Jessica Biehl for the title role. "Kim would be used if Wonder Woman is older, Jessica is if she's younger," the insider added. Warner didn't return calls. |

It got even better on Tuesday with Blair bound and gagged in the trunk. Another full hour of B&G action with a fresh and well-sealed tape-gag, struggling, mmmppppfffing and awesome closeups and facial expressions. Plus perfect lighting the entire episode. Blair also now appears to have her hands tied in front to her long black boots, a little realism to prevent her from ungagging herself. I just noticed that today.
Scenes were spaced throughout the hour. The finale on Tuesday showed a security guard ordering the stripped car taken to the crusher. Blair hears this and does some nice mmmpppfffing. Preview showed more action on Wednesday. Could be heading for a wrecking yard finish. Also, during one of the commercials, Kassie DePaiva is shown in her same outfit talking to Bob Guiney and a fan and Kassie asks the fan "How would you like to be stuck in a trunk for a month?" Great stuff. |

Tuesday February 22 16:03:29 2005 Kari Byron Mythbusters |
This is one of those rare times I wish I had cable.
Could someone who saw the show give a synopsis of what happened, what she said and did, how she reacted to the torment, etc? I saw the Yahoo caps and they're great, but I'd like to know more about what actually happened on the show. as well as that mask contraption they put her in! Thx. |

They had a "torture" expert for advice, older serious guy who implied they were playing with fire. An EMT crew stood by and monitored her, and her show team asked her questions as time went by. Around an hour she started to cry and wanted out because of the bondage, not the dripping water. Her shoulder was sore and she felt trapped. In her voice over and flash forward scenes she was very emotional about the bondage aspect. The face thing was a mold they made with a strap to hold her head still; they like to make weird stuff in their shop. At the end they all seemed quiet and intense about the whole thing and concluded that water torture was an evil thing that would blow your mind if you were really tied down and it went on for days. |

Commercials during today's ABC soaps showed a guy in the barn getting hit over the head with a shovel and then the assailant setting up a space heater to start a fire in the hay. So if the guy is knocked out and Eva has to be rescued from the barn, perhaps she'll be tied up for the fire. I can't imagine she'll also be clubbed with a shovel. |

You get the impression that the experience wasn't merely uncomfortable but really disturbing. Like it started out as a fun test, but after awhile became something so unnerving that even talking about it afterwards would touch a nerve. |

Actually, nothing will happen here. The man who hit the other guy in the head with the shovel is actually Maria's husband, so I seriously doubt he will tie up his own wife even if she just cheated on him. He hates the other dude so it's likely he'll just be left there to burn...or not to burn. Always the possibility, but I seriously doubt it. |

Not to get *too* analytical, but they did a rather slipshod job of crafting their experiment. There was no control (no damsel bound in identical manner *without* being subjected to water torture), & they restrained Kari in a most uncomfortable position with inappropriate hardware. The Mythbusters warehouse is quite literally stuffed with tons of material, supplies, & junk from past & future prop fabrications. They had two pair of what looked like leg irons lying around, & used them on Kari's wrists & ankles, together with cloth bandages to cushion the irons. Midway through the experiment, she complained about her shoulder hurting. So... was it the crude restraints & spread-eagle that got to her, the rising tension of the unaccustomed experience of being restrained, or was it the dripping water? Now if *I'd* been designing the experiment... :-) |

And to answer the question that will undoubtablely be posted soon, when the #1 on all my wish lists comes thru with a excellent scene, (The jacket she was wearing was even kind enough to slide down,) caps will be in the works.
