Eva Longoria -
If God is kind, Eva will take her fav. hobbies and find a way to talk the producers of Desperate Housewives into writing it into a script or two.... - then I could die happy.

from MSNBC's "The Scoop" - (gossip column) - today

----------------------------------------------------

Eva Longoria’s private life sounds like one of the steamier episodes of “Desperate Housewives.”

The actress who plays Gabrielle Solis — a housewife who has everything, yet nothing — has admitted that she likes to get kinky.

“I have been tied up with silk scarves,” Longoria is quoted as saying by several sources, including London’s Daily Star. “There’s something very sexy about being submissive because your guard is down, you have to totally surrender to something like that.”

Mythbusters
I've found a "possible" in a weird place...Mythbusters.
Those of you who don't know about this show...two guys prove or disprove various myths, wives tales, etc. The show's pretty fun to watch. But I read on their website that sometime in February they're doing a show where they try to determine if chinese water touture would really make someone give up some information. One of their assitants, Kara, will be the victim. May be a thing to see.

Didn't she have a tape up scene on Las Vegas, or was that someone else? Lordy Lordy she's a beauty.

That was Vanessa Marcil. I also see a resemblance. My hopes for Eva were dashed last year after just a few episodes of "L.A. Dragent" aired before cancellation. She was a female detective. Think it worked out for the best for her career wise that that show got canceled.

I'd say the best scene with silk scarves has to be Nicole Eggart's nice tie-up on 'Baywatch'

Ooh, Kari Byron is the cute redhead assistant! That'll definitely be one to see.

Mary Beth Hughes on Red Skeleton Show
Don't think I ever saw her scene discussed here so I thought I would share it with you. You can just imagine my surprise while watching it on the DVD called TV Classics-Red Skeleton. In the episode titled Capturing the Killer, Mary Beth (the hot Rose from The Ox-Bow Incident) gets the full treatment from Franklin Panghorn (of all people) ater he captures her near the end of the episode. Obviously played for laughs but still quite enjoyable.

Is this the "their website" in question? (URL below.) I see nothing in the blurbs about upcoming episodes about
Chinese water torture. If "Kara" is infact the redhead Kari, I'm *definitely* interested (especially if Scottie fabricates the apparatus/restraints & gets to gloat a little); however, we need more info!

Given that there have been a couple of scenes...
...involving this rather tragic figure from history added to the database very recently, it might be of interest to some of us here to see who Kirsten Dunst is going to be playing in her next film, which is scheduled to start shooting next month.

It's in the site's episode guide:

Episode 25: Brown Note

...we'll see whether a constant drip of water falling on your (or in this case, Kari's) head really can be unbearable torture. Premiere: Feb. 16, 2005

There could really be something to this. This show's approach is very scientific, although they do like to have a lot of fun. For each myth, they test it out very rigorously, so if it's common practice for people to have been tied while under this torture (can't think how it could be otherwise), then they very well could add that in. If a myth is proven false, they take the extra step to see what circumstances WOULD accomplish the goal. This step could be a premise for something like going from water dripping to a fire hose, but that's just guessing. I'm very anxious to see how this one plays out.
