Right ... caught it. Bound in a chair ... the table obscures her wrists, but they appear to be tied to the arms.

Definitely to be continued ... bound or not is anyone's guess, of course, but I'd say the former if I was playing with house money.

Any idea who the actor is?

Cristine Lilley. See the link. She's older but has a nice body and is wearing tight clothing. In the chair it's not easy to tell, yet.

It looks as though she could potentially be there awhile.

The promo was very vague. A killer may strike... then we see a blonde handgagged. I think it was Sims, but she changes her hairstyle every episode, so it was hard to tell. Could be another bad tease, like last year when Sims was supposed to be KO'd by a date rape drug only to have nothing happen.

This is the best rerun news in ages!! Even though I've preserved my Heather Locklear scenes like they're gold, just seeing the episodes again will be great. From the Web site, it looks like 4 nights a week, not five. They'll be airing episodes Tuesday thru Friday mornings. Apparently, from a database entry, Heather Locklear was not in the first season, which was only 5 episodes.

Also, database entry No. 8 and No. 9059 are the same episode, the 2-part "Bloodsport" classic. I'll post that to DB Corrections.

I get it, now! Penny Parker Mystery Stories#2: "The Vanishing Houseboat", by Mildred A. Wirt (1939).
As for the pict, I've downloaded the source from the Perilpix archives (thanks to Boiler Plant, I think). It was a repost of course. By the name of the file ("6bf8ab56.jpg"), I guess BP found it on some Yahoo! group at that time).
As for Mr Irony, his den at WebTV's has been closed down a long time ago. Even dear Mason doesn't mention it in any list at TTT's. Do you know what happened, Martin? By the way, let's have a sigh for CaptivePenny's (closed down on last year).

Hey guys! Here is a little bondage humor I hope will give you a chuckle or two. Click on link and scroll down.
I'd love to see a live action version of this with Kelly Rippa on Hope and Faith. Too bad bondage humor pretty much gone out of style since the sixties.

T.J. Hooker schedule
I checked on aetv.com and confirmed that they are airing the episodes in chronological order. Assuming they maintain that throughout the entire run of the show, I calculated which episodes of interest would air on TV. Note: all times are 4 AM EST that morning.

"The Witness" (Jan 7)
"The Decoy" (Feb 2)
"Carnal Express" (Feb 18)
"Exercise in Murder" (Mar 15)
"The Two Faces of Betsy Morgan (Mar 30)
"Trackdown" (Apr 19)
"Outcall" (Apr 20)
"The Obsession" (May 20)
"Taps for Officer Remy" (May 24)
"Shootout" (May 26)
"Partners in Death" (May 31)
"Bloodsport" (Jun 2 & 3)

I hope that this post is on topic for this page. I don't want to advertise VCR alerts for episodes that may not air as scheduled; again this is a tentative list. Aetv.com shows what episodes will be shown four weeks in advance at all times.

Nice handgag for April Clough near the end. Too bad the villain doesn't B&G her. It would've been better for us to have had Hooker hearing some mmmphing and looking for her rather than April walking into the room holding her head and moaning.

I've seen coming attractions that very quickly showed a bound and blindfolded woman being led somewhere. It went by too fast to tell who it was (brunette I believe) or whether there was a gag (don't think so, however), but it shows that there will surely be some action this season. Haven't seen that shot or any others like it in subsequent promos, however. :-(

Yes, a 3 disc DVD set of the Captain & Tennille Show will be released in 2005. We don't have an exact release date yet but hope to have it available by late spring or early summer. Total content has also not been set yet but the
"Bionic Watermelon" skit is high up on the list to be included.

I always try to look at the bright side and I welcome everyone to do the same. Like all of you (I presume, at least), I only want to see women get the treatment. However....

Even when these shows give us "putz" scenes, we have to look at it as a good thing. It means the show is amenable to putting people in bondage situations, specifically the main characters.

Sure, we always want them to be the women. But in the 21st century, we have to accept that the "T.J. Hooker" notion of "always kidnap Stacy" simply isn't going to happen anymore. (Or at least rarely.) We're going to be stuck with putz scenes here and there.

What I do like about "Las Vegas" is it continues to put its characters in dangerous/action-packed situations on a regular basis. (I'm sure Feb sweeps will have even more.) Sure, Ed got kidnapped. Fine. He got his turn. Now Sims' character is in trouble next week. Nikki Cox already got the full treatment.

On a show packed with hotties (Cox, Sims, Marcil, Thomason, and even the recurring Ladd), the odds are good for a few scenes. If the "put Jimmy Caan in danger so he can kick that crap out of a disgruntled ex-employee" storyline helps keep Vegas' ratings high, more power to 'em. Just keep coming back to the hottie well whenever possible. :-)

(This, of course, does not excuse those occasional shows that ONLY ever seem to put a putz in trouble and never do the same to the ladies. Those, certainly, are annoying as hell.)

I wish I spoke Spanish. I know I am missing out on some cool dialog where these Spanish soaps are concerned.

BTW, it appears as if the Engineer changed my pic to a link. I thought I had sized it down enough, but my apologies if I didn't. I will use links from now on to avoid such a situation.

Musings about Las Vegas
I find no reason to despair we will never see any of the Vegas damsels in bondage ever again. Comparisons to the past are problematic, 'cause "Las Vegas" is taking place in its own little universe, with its own bizarre culture, & where gambling is a reliable source of wealth.

And as I've noted before (being what you call an "old" guy), even the "classic" series like... {shudder} ...T.J. Hooker, AT THE TIME THEY ORIGINALLY AIRED, were a steady stream of frustration.

Same thing for "Wonder Woman", "Charlie's Angels", "X-Files", "Xena", etc. It's only in hindsight, looking back on the accumulated dBase hits we convince ourselves the "classics" were "reliable". Patience is the required virtue. A merciful god will NOT let Nikki Cox go unbound & ungagged. :-)

This FOX midseason replacement stars on Friday, Jan. 14, and the promos showed a blonde getting kidnapped into a car.

The female sidekick is newcomer Brennan Hesser. Surprise, surprise. She's gorgeous. Don't think it was her in this scene, but down the road hopefully.

Act Of Betrayal was the name and Lisa Harrow was the lady. It was a tight cleave that was outstanding.

Hit the nail right on the head Van !!!!

The first broadcast airings of the 'CLASSIC' series were usually an exercise in frustration.

It makes a big difference when you see then in syndication and every episode will air two or three times a year.

I almost have a memory of someone posting the number of episodes with scenes versus total episodes ratios for several series, but then again it could be senior creep ;-)

Along with the handgag in the preview, the description of next week's Las Vegas sounds promising:

SPERM WHALES AND SPEARMINT RHINO -- Chaos is set in motion when Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Delinda (Molly Sims) find a hotel guest who appears to have committed suicide. When Delinda investigates further, she suspects murder and dispatches Danny and Ed (James Caan) on a mission to find the killer which places Delinda in jeopardy.

'in jeopardy'--two of our favorite words.

And I seem to recall telling my friends I was going to meet them later that particular Saturday night...that I had *ahem* an errand to run for my mother. IIRC the episode with her black cleave-gagged and being menaced by a snake was on the next week as well...another "errand" came up as well...

Looking good. I just saw a preview, and there were about 4 frames (thank God for Tivo) that showed a brunette with a blindfold and cleave gag being rushed outside to a van. I think it happens in the second episode, but stay tuned.

One of the 2 plots...a strangler on the loose. Near the end of the episode,a girl disappears. They find where she is.The hear her screaming for help in a box. The box is opened. No bondage. So darn close!

But...next week has a glimmer...looks like Veronica gets led away in handcuffs....

This show is getting a little darker in tone. Serial killers and topics that are less "lifetime movie-ish"
I mean..at one point she said, "...the last time I went to a party like this I got roofied and woke up without my underwear...."
This may have more possablties thet we originally thought.

Short and sweet
Just like the Orange Bowl, it was over early for the sequence in LA MUJER EN EL ESPEJO. For anyone who caught it, just to be sure, since I didn't flip over right at the very beginning ... the car accident was the first setting, right? Then there was a cut to the bondage sequence, back to the car, and finally back to the bindee being discovered and freed, sí?
