T.J. Hooker Coming to DVD
The website tvshowsondvd.com is reporting that the first two seasons of "T.J. Hooker" are being restored in preparation for a (tentative) August 23rd release on DVD. Sales of that set will be the deciding factor in releasing future seasons.

Tomorrow. There's essentially no original scripted
programming on network TV on Saturday nights anymore.

database information
Hi!

I just wanted to state that I checked the Scene Database, and the European Series "Crimes en Series" only shows up 3 scenes. I know that there are at least 2 more scenes, not stated in the database. I've seen them and they're really good, but unfortunately I can't remember the names of actresses or else. It would be nice if someone could pop up with the info. BTW, this series almost had a scene in each episode!!

Methinks this would've been an instance where it would've been better for the owners to release T.J. Hooker sets "out-of-order", since for many male viewers the series began to hit its stride in Season 3 -- when Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear) was assigned to a squad car (although frequently going "undercover" as well) rather than stuck behind a desk.

I don't know if "The Avengers" DVDs were released "out-of-order", since similarly the majority of its fans prefer the seasons starting with Diana Rigg.

True, the "Big 3" have all but abandoned Saturday night. Hell, FOX is only there because viewers won't let them cancel "America's Most Wanted".

You know, it seems to me that some of the lower-rated networks like the WB and UPN could steal some solid ratings by scheduling a few half-way decent shows on Saturday nights. Lord knows they'd have no competition and they couldn't possibly do worse ratings-wise than they are now. If they really pushed it with a good ad campaign it would work.

The villian who tied her up was a complete moron. After he tied her as bait for the monster, she started, naturally, screaming like hell. Did he gag her? Nope. He just kept saying "shhhh... be quiet... hush... shhhh!" Did that work? Oh yeah. She screamed even LOUDER.

What a wasted opportunity. The girl was a fine little blonde honey muffin and she was wearing a tight stretchy top that showed off her moderately impressive chest.

Indian actresses
Still exploring my newly discovered fetish for bound hotties from the sub-Continent, I found a scene on a Major John set I bought from him awhile back.
It's not a TV-movie clip exactly though he has spliced in some of the Bollywood actress' work, and barefoot closeups before doing his own thing with her in Toronto.
Now I see how he became a Major.
Mod, hope this isn't off topic, you ocassionally allow plugs for other material.

Is Missing worth watching or taping tonight?

Usually I don't come begging, but I haven't seen a scene in a while.

I actually can't find any for this in the DB - am I typing in the wrong title?

Hi Lucifer,

Try typing "crime en serie" in the title area, it works and shows the 3 entries.

Well, the netlets don't even have programming for those
nights, they just turn the time over to the affiliates.

Here, we get a lot of baseball or (usually) hockey on
Saturday nights.

This is the third week of the winter schedule. I don't know how many episodes they're running, but nothing in the first two and nothing in the preview for tonight. Just gotta keep taping.

True enough, but I've always wondered why Linda Thorson doesn't seem to get the nod over Dame Diana. She's much prettier and always dressed nicer.

One question though. Does the fact that putting a series such as TJ Hooker on DVD give that company the rights to them? In other words, does it make it less likely that A&E, or any other cable station, will be able to air it going forward? Just wondering.

I think some have asked before, but since I didnt see anything, I was wondering if anyone knew about the whereabouts of Raffish since he left abductor.com

Second, I was a member of his old site before and have a lot of his QT clips. Since I shifted computers however, the sound works but the video doesnt. i updated my QT but I think i remember raff requiring people to install a special driver. can anyone direct me to that? thanks

Raffish's International DiDs Page is still up (but not updated since the site closed).
The driver is called 3ivx codec. I've posted the link to the site below my name.

In case you want, here is the link to his International page.

Los Chicos
I seem to recall a few years ago reading about this series in Bondage Life. I was a religious reader of Carl Maguire's Bound for Hollywood column and i'm sure he mentioned this title (or some variation thereof). IIRC he said this series was probably as scene friendly as The Avengers although i don't think he cited any specific examples. The series is probably mexican and was a cross between Man from UNCLe & Charlie's Angels.
Anyone out there able to shed some light on this?

Approximately when during the movie is the scene? It's showing again this Thursday from 9-11 PM EST. I'm trying to catch Goldie Hawn's scene "The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox" from 8-10 EST so am hoping it's in the second half.

I think that there are separate rights to either re-air a series on TV or to re-release onto separate media (e.g., DVD, VHS, CD, etc.).

For some TV stations, such as Sci-Fi Channel or TVLand, much of their programming is already available on DVD.

Heather Locklear's first DiD scene airs Wednesday morning at 4 a.m. eastern on A&E. Tied up with tape, no gag. Looking forward to this one. Never saw it.

Virginia Madsen in "The Wrong Element"
Another movie to keep an eye out for down the road...

Madsen is in The Wrong Element
Source: Variety January 30, 2005

Oscar-nominated actress Virginia Madsen (Sideways) has signed to star opposite Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany in The Wrong Element for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow, reports Variety.

In the action-thriller, directed by Richard Loncraine and written by Joe Forte, Madsen will play a security expert's (Ford) wife who is kidnapped along with her daughter. When his efforts to steal a large sum of money come to the attention of law enforcement, he races to complete the transfer in time to save his family.

Bettany plays the villain in the movie.
