The DVD release is essentially going to be a 'best of' compilation of various performances and sketches, not full episodes. Thus, there's no guarantee at this point that any particular scene might be included. |

Or grandparents? :-/ (That is an unsettling thought.) I must have been around 5 years old, too. One of my earliest memories is in fact the Captain and Tennielle scene. I remember being impressed with her acting in that particular scene and the fact she was sweaty. :-/ |

Filou, I have seen this before, undoubtedly on Mr Irony's site, and feel sure that it is indeed Penny Parker, and possibly from "Vanishing Houseboats". That somehow rings a bell with me. And Happy New Year to you too. |

Chris P, first of all, really good to see you again - missed you on Rob's for ages now mate :-) Where you been? Agree that the first file is Nadine Sieffert in Wolffs Revier "Recht aud Mord". The second is also German and I'm pretty sure it's from an early SK Koelsh episode. Could any of our German colleagues, Peter de K for example, confirm? I also say whether or not Italian or German, thanks Fuzz! |

If this topic isn't declared off-topic soon, I'm going to unleash a 10,000 word lecture on genetics & sociobiology that will get me banned for LIFE! ;-) Genes code for proteins. Complex characters, *ESPECIALLY* behavior, have very little (meaning ALMOST NO) penetrance or linkage. The only human instinctive behavior is the protective response of infants to loud noises or being dropped. It's nature *&* nurture, genes *&* culture! ...& don't get me started on chaos theory, butterflies flapping their wings & causing thunderstorms in Bejing. ...okay ...I feel better. :-) |

Hi Martin,
It was ever so nice to read your kind words. I still have German TV, but I never get time to tape, and I was put off Rob's site by some of teh content; although I was really pleased you responded so well to the anti-German comment. Sorry to be off top - just being polite. You're right (as you know rather more about this than I. The second is SK Kolsh. One of the DiDs is a police woman protecting the other one. The DiD in the first clip is Wolff's oft tied-up daughter. Both are German not Italian. One can see the Sat 1 symbol in the corner. sat 1 makes its own programmes |

> Genes code for proteins. Complex characters,
> *ESPECIALLY* behavior, have very little (meaning ALMOST > NO) penetrance or linkage. Right. Sometimes simple is better (ie Ockham's Razor) in that, we are all born sexual creatures with common desires. Dominance and submission is predominant sexual behavior, either in fantasy and/or reality, and always has been. Nature meant for these images and ideas to turn us on. Modern, healthy, relatively well educated, exposed to art, media and pop culture, late 20th and early 21st century, mostly male humans are attracted to images of our subject here because that's the way it is expressed in the dominant visual media of the day. In past eras the exposition of these ideas might have been Roman debauchery or cave paintings; in our time it's TV, movies and the internet, but it's the same thing. It's not just the ropes and gags that turn me on, it's the fact I know she's helpless; the thing that gets that message across the best is what I like. "The best" meaning, well done, beautiful and in correct context (correct context being marginally subjective); but you know what I mean. What I'm saying is we like it because it's normal to like it. To stress as important "born with it" or "conditioned to it" is absurd; we all have the attraction to it, more highly developed in some and not in others. The only reason the question of "degree" of desire ever comes up is because of societal pressure. Sure, it generally has to be enjoyed in private, as many adult pastimes do. But the desire we speak of here is normal and healthy in the bigger picture, and everyone feels it to one degree or another. Remember, the only relevant definition of pornography is "another person's erotica you don't like." |

As long as we don't stray into really off-topic stuff or start getting divisive arguments, I'm inclined to let it go. It's really more of a communal hug than a real discussion, as most people report very similar stories. |

Monday January 03 16:07:36 2005 Medium NBC 10pm EST tonight |
Just a reminder, possible scene tonight, Monday. Preview showed tape gagged woman (in negative) and woman tied to bedrail (dead?); plus, Patricia Arquette still looks hot, imho. |

> The only reason the question of "degree" of desire ever

Not only are kids denied expression of their sexuality, they're not even told what the correct expression is. If you're not allowed to see R-rated movies, you fasten on whatever you see : women have long hair, men don't, women wear high heels, men don't, women get tied up a lot, men don't. And when a woman gets tied up, usually a man rescues her, and then they kiss. Gee, that must be what sex is all about. |

Monday January 03 18:13:28 2005 Young and the Restless (strapped with a safety belt) |
Can anyone help. Have just got into g Mans excellent pics site and come accross an excellent cap of a blonde girl duct taped around her waist and wrists, then very nicely srapped into a chair with a seatbelt as She appears to be on a plane.
The scene is dated from august last year but does not seem to appear in db. Is there anyone with any more info - ie the situation of the scene, how she got in her predicament, and what happened to Her, who She was and if She got gagged. Thanks |

---- Or Ed's ex-wife (Cheryl Ladd). When Ladd was announced as making continued appearances for this season, I was hoping for a natural storyline of her being kidnapped to force Ed to compromise his own security. |

Yeah, I was pissed to read this plot summary. This means none of the women above can be kidnapped, causing a race against time by Duhamel et al, for at least four or five weeks. Although they could still stumble on a sex slavery ring, etc... That wouldn't be repeating themselves. |

According to Watch with Kristin:
http://www.eonline.com/Gossip/Kristin/Archive2005/050101b.html "Mía Maestro (Nadia) tells me there's plenty of girl-power action this season, thanks to her pairing up with newfound sister Syd (Jennifer Garner). "We're supersisters on supersister spy missions!" she says. "I've been training a lot and doing a lot of fight scenes...It's coming quicker than I expected. The stunt-coordinator people are so amazing on the show." When asked the same question, I tried to ask Victor Garber (see below)--whether she is good, Mia replies: "Oh, she's good. Yeah, I don't think Nadia will ever be evil. Of course, there's some little problems...not problems, but little arguments between Syd and Nadia." The series will have more stand-alone episodes this season, while easing up on the Rambaldi mystery. "It's gonna go back to the same show we had season one, and the mandate from the network has been these should be self-contained episodes where you meet a bad guy, and you solve a crime at the end. " Nothing specific, but lots of promising stuff in those paragraphs. |

Your memory is fooling you a bit, though: at most, it contains a couple dozen small blurry photos. The history of the silent era is facinating, nonetheless. |

Reruns of "T.J. Hooker" beginning airing tonight (actually early Tuesday morning) at 3:00am Central on A&E. Looks like it's going to air 5 mornings a week. Starts with episode #2 since the pilot is 90 minutes. Finally, a chance to upgrade my scenes from this show. |

Monday January 03 21:46:42 2005 Point Pleasant |
On Tuesday the 18th FOX will be premiering a show called "Point Pleasant". It's focused on the happenings of a town after a young woman washes up on the shore during a storm. It's described as a cross between Twin Peaks and Buffy. Of major note are some of the female stars, including:
Aubrey Dollar - excellent b&g scene in a tiny red minidress on Guiding Light Susan Walters - b&g a few times on The Big Easy Dina Meyer - tied up in Dragonheart; should've been b&g on Birds of Prey Clare Carey - b&g in Hercules and Without a Trace Elisabeth Harnois - hot blonde lead for the series, still awaiting her first scene... Given the series premise and the incredibly hot, eminantly-gaggable women in the cast, they have to give us b&g scenes early and often, don't they? |
Monday January 03 22:00:29 2005 24: Season 4 |
In the new issue of TV Guide (Jan 9-15) for the the sneak preview for the upcoming season, Kim Raver (Third Watch)plays Jack Bauer's love interest and whos father is the Secretary of Defense in which TV Guide notes "Working for Dad makes her a terrorist target. One of her quotes was:
"One of my first days on the set, [director and coexecutive producer] Jon Cassar walked up to me and was like, 'Hi, I'm going to bind and gag you.' The next thing I know, I'm thrown in a van, my eyes blindfolded and my hands tied thinking, 'What am I doing here?!'" Also, although I'm considering it a long shot this season but could be possible since shes a CTU agent, another person that might get it would be Lana Parrilla who plays Sarah. |

In case any West coasters had any completely irrational hopes... No, the kidnapper doesn't take Cheryl hostage and tie her up while waiting for Ed, nor does he nab any of the women to keep Ed company.
Next week may have something--looked like a handgag, possibly for Molly Sims? |
