Michelle (Nancy St. Alban) is being held captive this week by Sebastian. Anyone see the capture scene last week? Likely won't lead to anything since the guy has a cage in his house, but who knows. |
Monday December 13 06:39:08 2004 Dead Above Ground |
I just watched this movie tonight. There were three damsles in bondage, plus one putz. The first damsel was Cindy Margolis, who played the trophy wife of a Hollywood director. She was tied to a door and gagged with duct tape; her husband inadvertently killed her because he was duped into believing that the killer was behind the door.
The other two damsels were secured to chairs; their wrists were tied ot the armrests. I will compose a Database Entry for this movie; I just consulted the voluminous Database, and no Entry exists for this movie. |

Monday December 13 06:41:24 2004 Smallville Ep. "Gone" is gone??? |
Maybe I am not paying attention or this was mentioned already. Last Wednesday evening on the "WB", they showed "Covenant" and "Crusade" as repeats for Smallville. I am like going "yippie" because I wanted the catch the Allison Mack on a hook episode "Gone". Whoops, WB skips over to the next episode "Facade" for this Wednesday (12/15). Can you see the expression of frustration on my face????
Thankfully, I am looking forward to repeats of "Murphy's Law" on BBCAmerica in January plus I have a curiosity over the new CBS Spring Replacement Crime Drama called "Numb3rs". |

Last week they showed last seasons finale and this seasons premiere. The Mack episode was the third of the season so it should show up next week, hopefully! |

Thanks for the info on this. Glad to see my little discovery panned out into something, even if "only" a handcuff scene. Kindly let us know of antything with Laura Linney, who deserves so much better than that terrible scene in Life Of David Gale. |

I agree that we should be willing to explore far and wide, it's just that the heavily gay theme of this series and its promotion as a total comedy-drama would probably repel us. Makes you wonder how many things we miss, though. Could there be a full treatment Catherine Zeta Jones scene lurking out there somewhere? Sorry to hear you have to sit through a whole series, but if it helps, the novel Further Tales Of the City by Armistead Maupin, as found in excerpts on the Web, definitely describes Laura Linney's character as bound and gagged, and even includes the famous "MMMMPH!" exclamation! Not bad fromm a gay author who lacks our interests hey? |

Monday December 13 12:18:35 2004 New tapes, poll |
I'm getting back into the selling/trading of TV/Movie scene tapes, slowly, after an absence of a few years. I have some remastered vintage 60s-70s-80s stuff I transferred onto DVD.
I also have several interesting new things, including a bondage highlight tape of the scenes from several obscure, hard to find horror titles, the best European bondage scenes from this year (compiled in Germany off his satellite by Michael Huck) and a really funny, bondage-filled Chinese kidnap-comedy, in Mandarin with English subtitles. I've also put up a new poll at my Yahoo Group asking what you think was the best mainstream bondage scene this year. Finally, I add my regret to the looming loss of Fuzzweb. He's a good friend and we're going to see if there's a corner of the Attic he can set up shop in. |

It was revealed on the movie/video alerts page a few months back and I discussed the scene with someone via email, then went out and rented the movie. It is indeed Cindy Margolis. It's in the opening minutes of the film. Cindy and her husband are heading to a charity event and wind up at a deserted house. Cindy is wearing a very nice evening dress. The couple split up in the house and the hubby eventually gets chased by the killer. He opens a door, and when he pulls it back Cindy is attached to the door and gagged with duct tape. Her character is dead, but her eyes are open and you get a decent image of Cindy's face. The shot of Cindy lasts about 3 seconds and that's it. I rented the movie but didn't attempt to save the scene and I usually will save scenes with big stars, if that means anything. I can't recall whether there was any blood on her face, but I don't think so. Hollywood Video is the place I rented the movie from. |

Monday December 13 16:03:58 2004 QUESTION - Plank over Pit |
Back in the late 70's, seems like, I saw a movie on late-night TV. It featured scenes from a dungeon-like setting wherein damsels were frightened, had something to do with what fright did to their blood. This was NOT "Mill of the Stone Women", rather one of the means of fright the bad guy(s) used was a stone pit, round like a deep, dry well. There was a huge wooden plank across the top. The damsel was forced through a door at the top, onto the plank. When the door was shut behind her the plank began to move back under the door, which caused her to "walk the plank" with her back against the door. When the plank was almost all "gone" and the damsel about to fall, she fainted and the baddy opened the door and caught her before she fell.
WHAT MOVIE WAS THIS? Anybody know? |

Most of them get over it, or at least try not to think about it. What it REALLY is, is this: Any moderately famous hot actress thinking about going nude waits for Playboy to pony up the big bucks... unless your Halle Berry and you can get a studio to add a million or two to your salary for revealing your cha-cha's. |

Are you sure this was her? You know, I'm not so sure now. I consulted the IMDb, and the name of the actress who plays the trophy wife is not "Cindy Margolis". This name, however, is printed on the DVD box, and listed in the end credits. |

Anybody know? ------- Record number: 2038 Title: Schlangengrube und das Pendel, Die (1967) aka Torture Chamber of Dr. Sadism, The; Castle of the Walk Medium: Movie Actress: Christiane Rucker, Karin Dor Description: A fairly tame movie compared to its title. Lovely Rucker, clad in a period dress, is over-the-mouth gagged with a blue cloth and tied to a X-rack that's being lowered towards sharpened posts. (Note: Gags are infrequently used in this kind of picture). The villain has locked to the door to the dungeon and is using the old bucket-filling-with-water-as-counterweight gambit. And Karin Dor, the famous German scream queen who found herself in many binds during her career, is the unwilling (and tied up) guinea-pig for Dr. Sadism's dirty deeds. ------- The plank scene is not in the dBase entry 'cause the damsel (Karin Dor) is not bound in any way. |
