Had at least a moment of hope when Sam's car was run off the road and she was grabbed at gunpoint and hustled into a minivan, but was then led unbound into the pool area for the meeting with the drug lord. He immediately suspected she was wired and ordered her to change and enter the pool. Thought we get a Vanessa bikini scene as a consolation prize but the feds then busted in. Hopefully, this criminal will resurface in May sweeps with revenge on his mind. |

Can anyone ID this scene? |
Tuesday December 07 03:46:17 2004 Re: Scene ID help |
> Can anyone ID this scene?
> Record number: 10454 Title: Wild Card, The (2004) Medium: Movie Actress: Hillary Tuck, Barbara Alyn Woods Description: Nice little straight-to-video find, albeit with an unfortunate ending for one of its damsels. 43 minutes into this caper flick, mother Woods and daughter Tuck -- last seen bound back-to-back in an episode of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids -- are dragged into a van by kidnappers. Woods is then nicely chloroformed onscreen, while Tuck is merely shown semi-conscious. Shortly after this, both women are shown still unconscious (initially), blindfolded, tape-gagged, hands tied in front, and tied back-to-back in chairs with ropes around their torsos. This scenario is revisited several times, with darker lighting that we might like but some reasonably good shots (including close-ups). At the hour mark, Woods' character is unblindfolded and ungagged by one of her captors, but she doesn't get to experience much relief because he immediately stabs her to death. Feh. Meanwhile, Tuck remains bound and understandably terrified -- but, in a boon for us, by the 66-minute mark, she's been retied with her hands behind and moved to much better lighting conditions. Nice close-ups as the antihero removes her blindfold (much to the consternation of his boss) but leaves the gag in place. Just a few minutes later, we see her lying on a bed, still gagged, blindfolded once again, and now with her ankles visibly bound as well. The hero once again removes her blindfold, eventually followed by her gag as he releases her. It's all over by the 73-minute mark. DVD viewers should be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes featurette, which includes an additional take of Tuck's scene on the bed, and the commentary track, in which the director sheds a few (crocodile?) tears for the amount of time that Tuck and Woods were required to spend bound. |

Tuesday December 07 07:04:49 2004 Tales of the City |
I've been borrowing DVDs and VHS cassetes of this series and its sequels from my local library in order to ascertain which episode contains the putative bondage scene featuring Laura Linney.
Thus far, I can aver that Episodes 3-6 of the original series, "Tales of the City", do not contain any bondage. I watched the first episode of "Further Tales of the City", and while it didn't contain any bondage scenes, the second episode seems promising. The plot of the series is comprised of several subplots, one of which is a serial killer who's been terrorizing a park in San Francisco. Laura Linney is on board a ferryboat with the killer. I'm surprised that no one has composed a Database Entry for the episode in this series that is purported to contain a scene in which Laura Linney is bound and gagged. The Datbase is voluminous and thorough and diverse in scope, with quite a few very obscure entries. People like us will gladly watch a movie or television program outside our range of interests simply for a scene with a bound and gagged damsel. I thought that one of the contributors to this Page would've watched this episode by now. |

The database mentions a scene in this series but not the episode title. I've been following the current showing on BBC America from the beginning and the scene hasn't popped yet. But does anyone know the actual episode title, so I can keep a lookout for it? |

I paraphrased, she actually mimicked a "mmphh" sound on the soundtrack, saying that while she could actually talk, she had to "mmphh" and did so because, well, she's a good actress. |

I just watched the "Ed, the Counterspy" episode of MISTER ED. There was an ungagged scene for a leotarded spy about 21' in ... she was handcuffed in front after being caught by the Coast Guard.
Is that it for the series? There are three more spy-related eps coming up Thursday, Friday and Monday ... but perhaps the scene above was scene-creeped into having a gag. |

Tuesday December 07 15:29:45 2004 Miami Vice |
On the third page of caps, the brunette in glasses that is bound and white tape-gagged is Rita Rehn from "Miami Vice," according to the DB. There was no ID on the cap.
Caught that scene in a rerun last year and just happened to click on the show the very second the thugs were closing the door on the damsel bound and gagged. I thought for a second it was Saundra Santiago in a blown cover situation. Maybe the Database just didn't have the scene listed....No....saw the full scene a few hours later when the same episode was rerun. Always disappointed Saundra never was gagged on that show, and her partner was gagged twice. |

Record number: 4384 Title: Miami Vice Medium: TV Series Actress: Rita Rehn, Lori Creevay Description: Episode: "Bad Timing" (5.4) According to Carl McGuire's Bound for Hollywood column, this 1988-89 season (MV's 5th season episode has two interesting scenes. In the first scene Ms. Rehn (who is not listed in the IMDB) plays a real estate agent who is captured by escaped criminals, bound hand and foot, gagged and has her knees roped tightly to her chest. In the second scene Ms. Creevay is captured, bound and gagged and left on the floor with two stereo speakers taped to her ears with the volume turned up full blast. ================================================ Noticed the much despised "bound hand and foot" description. Will change to hands behind. All agree on "tape" for gagged? |

Tuesday December 07 20:11:53 2004 thanks to all; ATWT alert (possibly) |
First of all, thanks to the person who cleared up the China Chow details. The more I thought about it, the more I thought I was wrong about the cuffs, but right about the rules for between takes. (The movie is awful, and I really have no desire to watch it again just to check my memory.)
Also, thanks to Major John for the Martha Byrne scene. I'm in a "no download" zone right now, but I'll go for it later. And speaking of ATWT, we may have one last Peyton List scene on the horizon. She is bidding a teary goodbye to her idiot former boyfriend, so she's sure to get grabbed 10 minutes after she walks out the door. She's leaving the show soon, so this could be it for a while if there is anything. |

Tuesday December 07 20:54:47 2004 KONG! |
Apparently, whoever has been maintaining the vice-like grip on the throat of the publicity for Peter Jackson's "King Kong" has relaxed a little. Last week's Newsweek (Dec 04?) had a brief article with the first of what appears to be Official Photos. You can follow the URL to Kong-is-King! site & see the photos, but be forewarned there's nothing "on topic", & the single yummy photo of Naomi appears to have been scanned with an electric toothbrush.

The new movie has a couple of DID scenes. Bill Murray's ship is invaded by pirates, who tie up the crew, including Cate Blanchett's character and another female character. They're both tied at some point with their hands behind their backs with blindfolds, but we get to see Blanchett in a hogtie when the scene first starts. Major putz alert tho. |

Martha Byrne is still on ATWT, and hot as ever, IMO despite likely being in her early 40s, but her character, once a focal point on the show, has taken a back seat to the younger hotties Alison and Lucy, as well as the never ending Rosanna storyline, and the Carly-Jack-Julia storyline. Remember the days when Lily found trouble every months. Maybe down the road she'll give us another scene. |
