Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs from SWAT CATS and Nuku Nuku from ALL PURPOSE CULTURAL CAT GIRL NUKU NUKU (one of the all-time great series titles) are welcome residents. If toon bondage doesn't lard your skillet, you shouldn't have any trouble avoiding it in the DB. Those of us who enjoy imagery created via drawn art (on the page or the computer screen) are rather glad to have such a resource. (And I'm not saying that just 'cause quite likely I've entered more animated scenes than anyone else. Well, maybe I am ... but that doesn't diminish the validity of the viewpoint.) |

She has at least three more "Mystery Woman" movies to come for Hallmark and I believe I read that they're planning for at least five by the end of 2005. Hope that's only the beginning, Kellie is one of my favorites and the role of snoopy detective fits her like a glove. |

I can't say for certain if this scenario ever appeared in a Bond novel, since I never read most of them, but it can be found in the thriller Solo by Jack Higgins(author of The Eagle Has Landed). It's been a long while since I read it, but essentially here's what happened:- John Mikali is a world-renowned concert pianist who also happens to be a professional hitman (he served in the French Foreign Legion--hey, it's fiction!). On one of his first assignments he has to bump off some Greek military bigwig and so hides in the target's hotel room. The maid sent to prepare the room finds him there and he drags her into the closet while imploring her to keep quiet. They discover that they're both Greek and so with time to kill before the hit and no doubt spurred by nationalistic feelings as well as simple horniness, they get down to some wardrobe aerobics. Must be the uniform! The clincher is his post-coital manner--he B+Gs her "very gently" and tells her "There, you've had what you've wanted, so be a good girl and keep quiet." They then proceed to wait in the closet for the bigwig's arrival, upon which Mikali plugs him and vamooses. No,he didn't stop to untie her! The maid apparently bore no ill-feelings, as she couldn't make a positive ID to the cops. After this episode, Mikali became known as the Cretan Lover(he's from Crete). A pity that he never followed the same MO on his subsequent jobs, else his moniker would've been the Cretan Bondage Lover! ;) Hope this helps |

Good point. Indeed, all 3 of the actresses from the famous General Hospital scene each gave 1 one later "full treatment": JT with "Fatal Error" and Demi Moore in "The Scarlet Letter" (with some further non-full treatment bits by both). Sharon Wyatt never really became famous outside of GH but was b&g again there a few years later. |

Thursday December 30 12:52:00 2004 Cold War Bondage |
To answer the question about Chinese Communists, as opposed to Soviet/Russian and East European, and "DiD"s: only one film I know of featured both. "Chinatown Squad" had Valerie Hobson in bondage (as she was more than once in her career) and "ChiCom." However, as it was from the 1930's, the time of the Japanese invasion and WWII, I don't recall the Communists as being completely the villains of the picture. Doesn't mean there weren't more recent movies dealing with DiDs and Chinese Communism, though. |

Thursday December 30 13:00:42 2004 Man of the House? |
"Man of the House," starring Tommy Lee Jones, is a 2005 release which by the sound of it could (or should) have something for those here. Jones plays a Texas Ranger who must guard Texas cheerleaders, the witnesses to a murder. Obviously a situation with great DiD/hostage potential, though from the trailer and stills so far may well be nothing. |

I can cap and clip that scene in a future update at the Yahoo group. Likely the week of Jan. 9 since next week's features are already decided. Remember, requests are being taken at the group. Group updates 3 times a week. Posting requests there will always get a scene up quicker. |

Thursday December 30 18:01:29 2004 Detective novel w/ spreadeagle & tape-gag bedtie |
> That's the ONE - a case of 'book creep' I suppose. Great scenario that would make one hell of a film / tv episode.
---- Can anyone name the title of a detective novel I read about 20 years ago, that featured the PI finding a beautiful brunette tied spreadeagled to her bed and tape-gagged... and nude? He surmised she must have knocked her head against the headboard to attract attention to the bedroom, and after remarking "Quite a predicament", covered her with a fur coat (or something similar). As it turned out, she was a leader of the bad guys -- the PI revealed he'd been suspicious from the beginning: Why would a ruthless gang strip her naked & tie her to her bed just as a warning, without taking further advantage of the situation? |

It did show a single hand gag. I don't know how promising this movie may be. It's one of those type of flicks where people have to fight each other, so, well, who knows? |

It doesn't pop my corn, but if it does for others, then great. What bugs me is that when they post a cartoon scene on the alerts page without making it clear it's a toon! That can be annoying, and a waste of vcr tape. Just my two cents worth. BTW, HAPPY 2005!! |

And for those that have been paying attention, they know that means I have a new TV card jammed into my computer so I can make clips once again.(25 so far in the last three days.) A big "Thank you" to everyone who helped by purchasing a CD and to MJ for the offer. |

If not, I don't think it's the poster's responsibility to make that distinction ... any more than it would be to explicitly state that the scene is live-action. We've all taped scenes that were disappointing for one reason or another ... and I don't blame the posters for not including info outside the basics that might have clued me to that possibility. You pays your money ... Having said that, if such a situation arises in future, I'll try to remember to ID the scene as animated if it's one not already in the DB. Others may or may not follow my lead. > BTW, HAPPY 2005!! And you. |
