| Let me be the first to decry and disparage the show’s choices for “Ginger”. First of all, they pick unknowns for all the other characters, and then decide they need to go with C-level actresses for the Ginger part? Why? They couldn’t find two utterly unknown actresses that fit the profile?
Then there’s the matter of physical resemblance. “Ginger” was a tall, slender-but-buxom, American redhead. Rachel Hunter is buxom, and I suppose tall, but otherwise not even close. And Nicole Eggert? Where the hell did THAT come from? She’s NOTHING like Ginger. 5’ 1” at best. She’s a cutie, but FAR more similar to Mary Ann in size and appearance than Ginger. Jeez. Again, they couldn’t find two redheads for the part? Now, I will give them kudos for the Mary Ann’s, who, at least, LOOK like Mary Ann. Good job, from what I can see. As for any bondage, we MIGHT see a headhunter kidnapping, but I ain’t holding my breath for any gag scenes. |

Two redheads that fit the bill to perfection. Shannon is likely too big a star for this, but Angie would sign on in a second, considering her biggest project in the last year was "Celebrity Mole." Also, on Nicole Eggert, if anyone sees her Lifetime movie that aired last week, no scenes despite nice setup for one at the end. |

| In the current issue of Birds of Prey (# 76) a female character who has the same powers as Zatanna commands tree branches to bind and gag Black Canary. She commands (backwards) the tree to "bind her mouth." |

---- Rachel Hunter is about 5'10" - 5'11", and during her modelling years went redhead for a while (as she was in a couple of her Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue appearances). BTW, at least once during TBS' airing of "Wizard of Oz", the musical TV commercial for their upcoming new show aired, with quickie shots of first Ginger then later Mary Ann tree-tied with "head-hunters" roaming around. |
