It's not a definitive list by any means. I just came up with a couple of representative series from various decades and counted up their scenes. I'm sure there are series I've left out that beat out the ones I included. |

Did a look-over and counted the following: (not all have gags):
Charlies Angels - 13 Charmed - 14 Get Smart - 9 Hunter - 9 Lois ^ Clark - 12 Nash Bridges - 13 Pacific Blue - 12 Profiler - 9 Simon & Simon - 8 The Pretender - 9 V.I.P. - 9 Walker Texas Ranger - 15 Xena - 9 So, I'd say scenes of bound AND gagged would put The Avengers and Walker Texas Ranger towards the top of the list with several others close behind. |

Dragnet" last season for all of about 3 episodes before it was canceled and was on my Top 10 fall wish-list to be bound and gagged. Stunning. |

I have a stockpile of TMNT tapes, and while I don't think I have the "Burne's Blues" episode with April tied to a chair and gagged, I do have caps posted of an episode with her tied to a chair and another one with her gagged. |

I know of 5 for sure. FALL GUY- 7 gag scenes. Heather Thomas got it 3 times, Erin Grey & Mary Crosby once each, and there were at least two others for sure. Melrose Place- 5 gag scenes, and if you add quality to the mix, this is the reigning Champ. You dispute? Ok, all those OTHER series featuring gorgeous, busty redheads bound and gagged while attired only in bra and panties raise your hand. Thought so. |

For me, and maybe a lot of others, The Avengers was hands down, the best show ever for quantity and quality with gags involved. Almost always had good length, almost always intense and well done (with style), almost always very hot girls. I distinctly remember Patrick Macnee on Dick Cavitt circa 1969 saying "We tried to put bondage in almost every episode." Now tell me, who has that philosophy today? |

The damsel was not just tied and gagged as a device for the plot, but an intregal detail that was addressed with an understanding of what "bondage" in the arts is all about. It's the champ still. |

"The Gravediggers" and "Murdersville" are almost the only times that the bondage was convincing enough that she didn't need to "act" restrained. That doesn't change the fact that Diana Rigg's bondage scenes are among my favorites, but that has more to do with her character, rather than any excellence of the bondage. |

Hello? Has everyone forgotten "She Spies" (which is still on in reruns)? Two seasons, 21 hits. |

It was superior to "Charlie's Angels" in that all three members of the trio were bound and gagged at one time or another. It would've been an unparalleled delectation if all three had been bound and gagged together. Here's a topic for discussion: can anyone recall a movie or television show that featured THREE or more damsels bound and gagged together? |

Everything Dianna did, Honor had already done, and she filled out a sweater a whole lot better. As I've said before, if 'The Avengers' had been shown in the USA in as filmed chronological order, instead of the color 'Emma Peel' episodes being shown first, people would be bitching about why a knockout like Honor Blackman was replaced by the waif like Diana Rigg. Likely nothing coming from this real-life story, but Sela Ward as a PI on any case will get 2 hours of my VHS tape. Maybe they'll add in some fiction. |

Ok, but Jeb, you must admit that "The Gravediggers" episode is one of, if not the, best scene ever in series TV. First she cloth/hand gags a dom, fully dressed British nurse and gives her the full treatment. Then the nurse gets her revenge as Emma is qauze stuff gagged and bandage cleaved on an operating table, arms and legs too, in a skin tight black leather cat/jump suit with knitted breast cups and leather shoulder straps; yow! Emma was in her prime and that was the hottest thing she ever wore. The track scene was even better with a scissor leg lock while still gagged at the end. Hotness (sexiness) counts a lot in my book. The Avengers scenes were hot most of the time because of the style: ironic, witty, wardrobe conscious, great stories and fun. |

In 007: Everything or Nothing, one of the female characters gets tied hands-over-head and hung from a big hook. You have to get to her before she gets dumped in a vat of molten metal or some such. I'd say that's probably mid-way through. In Sudeki, you have four characters in your party... two male, two female. At different times in the game, you're forced to control just one, or maybe a pair... for instance, there's a portion where you just have the two girls, and then another when you just have the two guys. Anyway, one of the times when you have the two guys, your mission is to rescue the two females. You find them sitting back to back, hands in manacles, with chains around their waists holding them together. This is toward the end of the game. In Red Dead Revolver, fairly early on, you play a mission as this English dude that your main guy ("Red") saved in a previous mission. You find this girl tied to a water tower, wrists together, hands overhead. She stays that way for most of the mission; you have to defeat all the bad guys before cutting her loose. I've not finished this one, so I don't know if there's more later on. In Legacy of Kain: Defiance, I've really only played the beginning... just to see if I liked it after I rented it. Right off the bat you see some women chained to the walls. That's a common thing in Kain games apparently... in Blood Omen 2 there were women chained to the walls as well. The graphics weren't as good in BO2, though. |

And as I believe I did before, I respectfully, but strongly, disagree. Granted I saw her later, but I found Cathy Gale to be a colder, and less interesting person than Emma Peel. Diana Rigg breathed life into that character in a way that, IMHO, ranks with the best performances ANY actor has given in series TV over the years, whether you're talking action series, mystery, soap, whatever-- she's just as vivid a character as Claudette Wyms or Carmela Soprano, and (again IMHO) a heck of a lot prettier. I think she'd have made her impact no matter what. And, for me, that matters a lot. Seeing a beautiful woman B&G is always great... but seeing one who appeared to be so remarkable is even greater. |

Hey G-Man, Thanks a lot for taking the time to post those caps! You are correct, the episode I was originally asking about is called "Burne's Blues." If they ever do get around to putting out a DVD, you would definitely want to check that scene out. Like cartoon bondage or not, it was a good one! |
