Thursday September 09 00:03:43 2004 THE VANISHING now on DVD. |
For fans of chloroform scenes, the (awful) Americanized 1993 remake of THE VANISHING has just been released on DVD, with a pre-SPEED Sandra Bullock getting chloroformed by Jeff Bridges. Some absolutely *excellent* panicky vocalizing by Sandy as she slo-o-o-o-wly sucumbs to the fumes. The disc is cheap, too (maybe as little as $9.99 in some stores). This'll probably be the closest we'll ever get to a full-on B&G scenario with Sandra, so enjoy! |

They ran some recent footage of her as they gabbed about some sort of relationship woes she was having. It definately looked like a photo shoot and judging from her shorter hair it was a very recent photo shoot. |

Speaking of Univision, "Mariana"'s finale is next Friday so the scene listed in the Database should be coming along any time now.(It says "roughly five episodes before the finale".)

The last time I recall a show with this much DID-potential, it was this little 6 episode summer-replacement series called Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Well, we all know how THAT turned out. While BTVS was a truly great show and not completely barren of gaggage, it certainly disappointed far, far, more often than it delivered. |

Thursday September 09 08:45:03 2004 Re: Dear Abby 'Bound and Gagged' Writes Again |
Just like this Dear E Jean as appeared in Elle magazine in 1996:
DEAR E. JEAN I'm a twenty-eight-year-old woman and was recently appointed managing director of a small advertising agency. My promotion was initially greeted with skepticism by the mostly male staff (some of whom had made passes at me during my two years with the company), so I was determined to show that I was competent, firm, and fair. I was succeeding very well, gaining the praise and respect of both the staff and upper management, when an incident shattered the image of poise and dignity I had worked so hard to perfect. I often get to work hours early to enjoy the quiet, review current accounts, and to plan. On a recent morning, I arrived at six o'clock and was confronted by three young burglars. They overpowered me, gagged me, literally wrapped me in packing cord, bound my wrists behind my back, and left me hog-tied on the floor of the storage room. That is how I was found by my employees almost three hours later. I could not have felt more humiliated. I've always been reserved, self-sufficient, independent. Had I managed to work myself loose, my pride and dignity would be intact. Although my staff has been supportive, I don't feel the sense of command I had before and I endure "The boss is all tied up" jokes with quiet embarrassment. I cannot shake the feeling that my colleagues will always envision me bound in a helpless heap. I am actually contemplating seeking another job. In short, for the first time in my life, I'm emotionally depressed. What do I do? Will this pass? I am really--Bound Up In Knots Seems quite bogus. |

Problem being TLN channel aired abunch of football matches from Europe and South America during soap's air-slot. Aired all over sched- ep count buggered. Suggest, pretty sure Angélica Rivera and Alejandra get into a scrap and César pulls Angélica off Alejandra? May want to have your tape ready then. More sure of Gag alert. as described in entry that crazy woman will discover, but not untie the two ladies, then leave. When César returns, he gags Patricia. Football matches didn't interrupt scene run. |

Is the Passions scene over? Also, I tried to record it every day but I think I missed a day somewhere. After trying to compile all my tapes of the scenes from each day, I noticed a have the first day (where she's seen tied & gagged but unconscious), which was at the end os an episode. The next scene I have she's being re-tied & regagged (also at the end of an episode). This is when the gag was that one with the upper lip showing over the bottom of the cloth.
The next part I have is she is still tied & gagged, but the gag is back to "normal" looking, lots of mmpphhhing. This was the last day of her bondage I believe. Did i miss a day between the unconscious scene & the "lower lip exposaed" scene? I think I somehow missed day #2. |

Thursday September 09 15:22:55 2004 Schizoid |
Bought this on amazon for 75 cents (really!) after the promos last week. Excellent scene with the double damsels tied and tape-gagged with white adhesive/surgical tape. Great closeups of the brunette, I think Donna Wilkes. Considering scene took place in a closet, fairly well-lit with good struggling and well-sealed tape-gags.
I have to encourage people looking for these rare gems to utilize amazon. With shipping, the entire tape costed $3.25, which is less than most places you'd rent it from (if you could find it). |

I was very young at the time, and for some reason I misunderstood the gag concept and thought it was keeping her from breathing for all that time she was tied up. Obviously, that's not the case, but it sure added to the tension of it for me. It's the first time I remember being enthralled by a DID scene. |

At the end of today's episode Michelle is grabbed and hand gagged by someone whos is not a regular. It seemed to come out of the blue, might have something to do with her husband's and boyfriend's mob ties, or just a quickie to give one of them an chance to rescue her. Don't expect anything but I can always hope she goes missing tomorrow. |

Thursday September 09 18:19:14 2004 New Show in Canada |
There's a new show debuting this fall on CTV Canada called 'Damsels in Distress'
BEFORE anyone gets TOO excited - I checked it out and it's a weekly women's makeover - hair/makeup/fashion affair with 'fashion challenged' women getting renovated. There's always the possibility of a promo spot with a scene going along with the theme of the show, of course...but if you come across this on a web search - just a tease, unfortunately. (however, I am tempted to apply in Toronto here as a 'consultant' for the show - I'll let you know) |

Thank ya's It's not that great. She is walking along with Gilligan in the jungle and the Japanese soldier, who is at least a foot shorter than Ginger, steps out and grabs her with his hand over her mouth. She doesn't make a sound and appears to struggle just a bit - Gilligan doesn't even relaize she disappears unitl he turns and she is gone. Very brief scene and no bondage follows. |

After that, I started taking notice of scenes in Hunter and Simon and Simon among others. But I think I really realized my preference for tape gags after seeing Silent Madness. I can't explain what it is about tape gags that I like so much, but I just do. |
