Friday September 10 00:55:02 2004 Sleeping Dogs DiDcaps posted |
I've posted DiDcaps from "Sleeping Dogs".
From the Database: Record number: 549 Title: Sleeping Dogs (1997) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Heather Hanson Description: Good stuff during 1st 20 minutes. Jewel thief busts in on bad guy C. Thomas Howells's emerald cutting operation. Howell has kidnapped a number of young lovelies (incl. Heather Hanson) to work said operation. In order that no jewel be smuggled out, each young lady is outfitted with electronically locking chasity belt and brank (metal gag). Their wrists and ankles are left free so they may work. |

Yep guy, you missed Day 2 of the festivities. Unfortunately it was the best day I think. There were 5-6 scenes with Paloma, awake & struggling & mmmphhh-ing. Nice close-up too. The other 3 days weren't really much IMO...the unconscious scene on Day 1, the dreaded "lower lip protruding from under the gag" scene from Day 3, and the last day, which wasn't too bad actually. I imagine enough folks here grabbed the scene it shouldn't be too hard to get a copy. |

"Honey West" was probably the first show I went out of my way to see just for the bondage, followed not long after by "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E." (I was actually a huge "Man From U.N.C.L.E." fan, but "Girl" was so bad that I ONLY tuned in for the bondage!). |

I vaguely remember seeing Heather Thomas and Charlene Tilton bound and gagged in episodes in the early 1980s before having a VCR but never thought "I wish I could have saved those scenes." That changed a few years later when CBS ran a promo of "Bloodsport" with Heather Locklear bound and gagged. I was like "Holy...." Fortunately, we had a VCR at that point and that was the first scene I ever recorded. A few weeks later, I stumbled upon Nancy Frangione's white tape-gag scene in her nightie from "Another World" and got hooked from there. |

I didn't see anything tonight except a lady stabbing some guy in the back with a knife and taking his baby. The guy survives and some one retrieves the kid for him. But "Te Voy A Enseñar a Querer" may have something tomorrow. The very hot, Ana Lucía Domínguez (Top Spot owner on my soap wish list), stowed away in a car trunk tonight. In the end, she hopped out and started snooping around. A henchman-type confronted her, and as she back away from him, grabbed her and delievered a nice handgag. Airs on Telemundo at 10pm. To a lesser expectation, previews for "Gitanas" show the hot gypsy lead being grabbed by ninjas, and having a knife to her throat. Telemundo 9pm |

My interest in mainstream bondage began when I saw the goddess Raquel Welch on the old TOM JONES VARIETY SHOW. They did a skit based on the song, "ALONG CAME JONES". Raquel was dressed in a skimpy dancers outfit and tied up in each of the songs perils,ie dynamite, sawmill, and railroad tracks. I was only 5 years old at time and from then on I was hooked on mainstream bondage. I would do anything to get my hands on a video or dvd copy of that episode of Tom Jones's show. Does anyone know if they are going to release it in the future? Anyone have vidcaps of the scene? |

Friday September 10 09:33:48 2004 "Gridlock" "Tripfall" double-feature |
By sheer coincidence (could it be something else?), after discussing top supermodel bondage scenes here, I noticed Lifetime Movie Network is airing "Gridlock" and "Tripfall" back-to-back on Sept. 18 starting at 12:50 p.m. "Gridlock" has an earlier showing that Saturday morning.
I think this is the first rebroadcast of "Gridlock" in the U.S. since the original airing in 1996. I recently bought the DVD for $10 just to get an upgraded copy. |

My interest began with the "Mute Witness To Murder" episode
of TALES FROM THE CRYPT. Celtic cutie (TM Van) Patricia Clarkson spent half the episode in a straitjacket, and the contrast between her red hair and the white jacket nearly sent me to OUTER SPACE ;-) |

Friday September 10 11:01:33 2004 Casualty |
Checking the links page of the Waking the Dead site someone linked to I found a site with lots of pics and vids from episodes of UK hospital drama Casualty, including.............
---------------------- Title: Casualty Medium: TV Series Actress: Sandra Huggett Description: Episode: "Breaking the Spell" (15.36) Casualty, is the British equivalent (and precursor -- it started in 1986) of ER. In this episode, Dr. Holly Miles (Huggett), is gagged with duct tape and bound in the last 20 minutes of the episode. ---------------------- Hit the link and you should find the scene spread over several Real format videos. |

Friday September 10 13:44:57 2004 Maria Bonita |
"Maria Bonita" is a 1995 telenovela from Columbia.
I caught parts of it when it aired in the late 90s. From the parts I saw, it seemed that every major female character was tied and gagged at least once. I have tried Google, Dogpile, Amazon, IMDB, et al looking for a VHS or DVD of it. It is listed in IMDB, but no VCR/DVD source is given. It shows up on Amazon, but for some reason the "Maria Bonita" link leads to "Mortal Storm" a 1940 movie. Anybody know of a good source for telenovela tapes/DVDs ? |

She looks so cute just lying there with her hands bound, and the look on her face is so expressive. I think she looks better that way than she would with a gag. And having her hands behind would mean we can't see them. Sometimes, I just think a good scene is all about aesthetics, and these aesthetics certainly please. |

A link to the screenplay for this movie was posted on this message board a few weeks ago, and readers of this screenplay were directed to a scene in which Kim Basinger is bound and gagged. |

From a Cellular screenplay - I believe it's posted at allmoviescripts.com: 169 THE KIDNAPPERS' BLACK VAN - SANTA MONICA PIER 169 Creeps down the wooden bridge and stops at the bottom; the base of the pier. Inside, Hodges sits behind the wheel; Jessica and Ricky lay bound and gagged in back. Hodges lifts his Nextel and thumbs the button. HODGES I'm in position. 197 INT. KIDNAPPERS' VAN - NIGHT 197 HODGES - has no luck on the walkie. HODGES Tomlin? Anyone copy? Jessica, cuffed from behind, covertly wriggles the handcuffs under her ass toward her feet. Ricky, terrified, screams "no" with his eyes. But she knows she's out of time. Big BUT here - this may be genuine, but it's definitely an early draft, so it's still possibble there isn't anything in the movie. |

interesting discussion. people are mentionining the initial scenes that got them interested but what was special about those scenes that set the spark. was it the acting, the tension or bonds or the gags? also how old were most when they first got interested. I was in my early teens. |

It is an epiphany for the viewer, because he makes a serendipitous self-discovery, that he derives sexual arousal from the sight of a beautiful woman bound and gagged. The pleasure he derives from watching the movie or television program that features a bound and gagged woman is enhanced immeasurably. My Holy Grail was the infamous episode of Scooby-Doo in which Daphne is kidnapped by a witch and zombie and left bound and gagged in an abandoned riverboat. Watching this episode was an epiphany for me, and for many, many other like-minded individuals. |

No. A 'Holy Grail' is a scene that someone is desperately 'questing' (read: searching) for. It's usually obscure and/or difficult to get hold of. A 'spur' or 'initial interest' scene (or however you'd like to describe it) may also be a 'Holy Grail' but the two aren't mutually exclusive. |

Frank, I still look at the "Feathered Serpent" episode of Sky King as the thing that really got me started too. I'd seen a few other scenes, but thats the one that really grabbed me, and still does to this day. I've always wondered whether Penny's various scenes are the reason I still tend to prefer thinner cleave gags to the heavier thick ones. I explain that fact to myself cuz to me they look tighter usually, as they are pulled deep back into the mouth. Kind of like a knot in a thin cord is usually tighter than a knot in a thick piece of mooring rope. But for whatever reason, I suspect Sky King is the reason a lot of us older guys are here, on this page and just generally walking around enjoying damsels in distress. |

Friday September 10 18:32:22 2004 Alias Season 3 DVD report |
Well I, as well as many here, waited with baited breath for the Alias Season 3 box set. (I even tried to sneak a copy a day early to no avail.)
The bad news: Unfortunately, there is no ballgag scene included in the deleted scenes. The good news: They've added some "bonus" features to each of the discs for this season. Previously, such features have been limited to the first and last disc. One added bonus is to listen to commentary on some of the eppisodes. Not unlike turning on the directors commentary for other flicks. "Full Disclosure", the eppisode in question, offers this feature. To date, I have yet to check this out beyond scanning the disc to see what bonuses it promised. I'll report back if anything promising ensues. |

Friday September 10 20:41:48 2004 Initial Interest Redux |
I was well into DID hunting by 1957 when the Saturday Evening Post published a serial [September-October I think]that featured an illustration of two women tied and gagged on a bed. IIRC one is missing a shoe.
I thought that the title had 'Monkey Paw' in it, but have had no luck Googling it. I know that a monkey paw figured into the story somehow. I vaguely remember a web discussion, or it might have been a Bondage Life letter, about this illustration often being missing from a library's collection of 'Saturday Evening Post's. Does this ring a bell with any of the other old timers. |

Bondage otherwise is massively minimal. You only see her hands when she pulls them under her feet and in front of her to choke the driver. She's wearing handcuffs, but it appeared they had a short chain separating them. Really too bad about the lack of a gag; she looks as good as ever, if not better. Here's a silver lining: Sienna Guillory, looking ridiculously hot as a tough-girl cop in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, does get unexpectedly plasticuffed for a while during the climax of that movie. Because of the way her outfit is cut and her incrdible body, it's a nice little scene that I really liked despite its brevity. (And that says a lot coming from a gag snob like me, since she is not gagged.....) |

I don't have the issue date, but I was searching for images mentioned in the "Tielines" column in BL ... so there was at least enough info listed to put me on the right track. And I may be misremembering, but this image might have been published in a later BL ... the date printed on the copy is 2/24/97. And one of the women is indeed missing a shoe. |

Here's how my taping tonight turned out.
7pm - Basta't Kasama Kita - A couple of cleavegag scenes before the first commercial break. Still ongoing, I believe. Thanks Gordian. 8pm - Mariana de la Noche - Chick fight and then the bondage started, but no gaggage yet. More Monday. Thanks Jay. 9pm - Gitanas - Nothing. Disappointed but not surprised. 10pm - Te Voy A Enseñar a Querer - Camila is locked in a shed til after her sister leaves, then she is brought to the main house. She is held captive but no bondage is involved. In the end, she tries the old "Seduce the Guard" trick, but he just locks her in a room. |
