Sunday September 05 00:21:47 2004 "Missing" in coming weeks |
Lifetime's "Missing" returns with new episodes in mid-September and it's a kidnapping bonanza, just about each episode, including one where singer Mya is the kidnapping victim. Another has a female cop in uniform kidnapped from her patrol car. |

Sunday September 05 01:19:24 2004 Saw |
I can confrim three people get the gag in it. First it's Shawnee Smith who has the jaw thing implanted in her mouth in a very great scene. Next up is one you all had hoped would get it and that's Monica Potter. She gets a very nice cleave gag, along with her daughter in the film. Both are ungagged, then regagged. Then they ungag and gag themselves once more. Very great scenes all of them. Movie itself is good, but very high on the FUCKED UP scale. |

If timing had been better, I would have watched it at the Fantasy Filmfest in Hamburg, Germany some weeks ago. ---- True enough -- I probably should have specified "USA" theatrical release. That distinction might be important, as there have been reports that there may be cuts to the film in order to avoid an "NC-17" rating in the USA. |

Sunday September 05 11:29:00 2004 Joely Fisher Facing New Peril in Wild Card Role |
Headline to an AP article published today in my local newspaper.
"'Wild Card' has gotten wilder. Joely Fisher, who plays PI Zoe Busiek on the Lifetime series, says the network 'wanted us to be more in peril; they wanted the stakes to be higher so the cases weren't so namby-pamby.' More danger is just one of several changes in the series' second season." And as we know from the TV series "Moonlighting", danger/peril can be a good thing, DiD-wise. |

I'd not heard of that & it sounds rather...odd. And painful. You mean something is PERMANENTLY implanted into her jaw to keep it open/closed?? |

If you aren't on it and want to be or if you want your entry changed, please follow the directions at the top of the page. Check the link for your current entry and make sure it is the correct one. This is the time to redirect pages out of the loop. Don't assume I've picked up changes from message board postings. All dead links will be removed.
