Paul Ryan (the rescuer) had to know which room she was in, so she had to be able to call out. If she were untied, she could have unlocked the door or removed the hinges. Hence the chair tie. Also, as I said recently, James Stenbeck is never captured quickly. He has a long history of gags and handgags. I wouldn't rule out anything in the near future. Don't get me wrong; I was hoping for more. But I think this scene was executed as it needed to be. |

I'm intrigued about some of the changes to your new site. I loved the free section of the old one, and never did become a paying member. I might later. Thanks for all the work you've put into it, and I'll be there to see the new version as well. Oh, and I also sent an e-mail asking about contributing - please write back to that when you get a chance. |

I only watch this show when there is an alert here, but it seems to me that James wants Rosanna and his son, Jordan, to be a happy couple, but Jordan loves Jennifer, so James will have to do something about that.(If nothing else he can lock the two women in rooms again, but this time they will have to be gagged so Jordan doesn't know which one he is trying to save.) Jennifer is played by Jennifer Ferrin (a Georgia girl) and currently resides at the #3 spot on my Daytime Wish List. |

Maybe that's the way you read it, but it's not the way it was written... or intended. I suppose I could have added a lot of fluff language about how the post wasn't to be taken as an attack but as simply added information, but I didn't think anyone would be THAT thin-skinned. My error there, huh? >>>>You were in the wrong.<<<<< No, you and the other guy obviously TOOK it wrong, but whatever. No good deed goes unpunished as they say. |

There was one good shot of her in the chair very early on. It was dark and bad quality for me but she was shown full frame I just couldn't make out her bound ankles The first thing he did when he went in to rescue her was untie her feet. My cable was out so I had to use the trusty antenna therefore my tape quality sucks. Twould' be very cool if someone got a real clean cap of her in the chair ;) |

Wednesday August 18 10:58:36 2004 Announcement list |
A couple folks have asked if I could send them an email announcement when my new site is up and running, and I said "sure." I'll be announcing it here as well, of course, and it'll be hard for regular Discussion readers to miss the weekly updates even if they do miss that announcement -- but I'll happily send an email as well to anyone who drops me a line. |

Warning someone for bringing up something on topic - it did come off as if you were trying to moderate. As someone that doesn't post all that often I'd like to think that when I do that the moderator & the moderator ONLY will decide if what I'm posting should or shouldn't be allowed. Just my two cents. |

The finale, I would agree in some sence, but still you'd think a gag would work in that spot to prevent any dialogue about the bomb, etc. My biggest complaint was the first part, where he's got Rosanna in the sewer with cops and everyone else walking on the manhole cover directly above. That's absurd to have her ungagged. But, hey, we got Peyton List tape-gagged, so it all evens out, I guess. |

Here's a link to the script for Cellular. Not sure if it's been discussed, but Kim Basinger's character gets bound and gagged in the screenplay. Specifically page 99 of the pdf document. Hope the scene makes it into the movie. |

You may be right. But then again, someone had to hold the baby. It would make even less sense for her to be gagged if she could just reach up and pull it off. Your real complaint may be that they didn't show her being silenced at some point as she was taken off the carousel. > But, hey, we got Peyton List tape-gagged, so it all evens out, I guess. Yeah, that was a good scene. If I ever get working equipment again, I may review it. |

I missed the first scene because of the Reagan coffin watch and the second due to my power going out that day. Peyton List b&g in one of her trademark micro-mini's is by far #1 on my wish list. |

I'll accept that you didn't intend any mean-spiritedness, so we'll chalk it up to miscommunication. However, you need to accept that both I and the person directed in your message took it badly. That means that, in spite of your intentions, you didn't express yourself well. Now, to make things crystal clear, comments such as yours are not appropriate in the main. If you had said, "we discussed that here about a month ago, use the search feature for posts title blah blah", that would helpful. Your post was not helpful and not particularly accurate. The subject was discussed in a few posts six months back, more than enough time to reintroduce the topic. If you have any further need for clarification, let me know. |

Wednesday August 18 22:32:58 2004 Passions Caps? |
I apologize in advance if this is just something I've missed, but have there been any caps posted of the recent gag scene on Passions? I know that there have been links to the website's clips, but they don't work for me, so I have yet to really see the scene. Again, I'm sorry if they've been posted here and I've just missed them. But if they haven't yet, is there any chance somebody could? Thanks! |

Did anyone cap the scene with Margo Harshman from Without a Trace yet? It has been a few months since the episode and I figured someone would have caps by now. |
Wednesday August 18 23:56:45 2004 CLEAVE GAGS ON SPANISH SOAPS |
I've brought this up before but as an over the mouth gag snob it seems that these spanish soaps seem to lean far more toward cleaves than american soaps. With the rare exception of the the Luz Elena Gonzales scene on the soap ? (one of my all time favorite scenes in any medium by the way) and Eugenia Caudillo's rape scene in another soap, the vast prepondrance of scenes I've read about in spanish soaps are cleaves. Obviously cleave fans are happy about this but those like me who like the lips covered are wondering why such a preponderance. |
