2004 Division (May 6) |
There was an alert posted for Sunday's "Division" - anything pan out? |

This week's magazine has bondage again in the fashion section. Three models handcuffed behind their back and chained together. |

2004 Funky alert |
Just caught this on a preview. Tonight at 6:30 on the YES sports network, behind-the-scenes clubhouse clip showed super hot female being wrapped up with bandages on her head. They were wrapping her at the top and going down. Looked like the scene on "She-Spies" last year with Natasha Henstridge getting gauze-wrapped on the airplane. Might be worth a look. Show airs from 6:30 to 7. |

The New York Times ran an advertisement in 1988 that featured a well-dressed model bound and gagged while recumbent on a couch. Her hands were tied in front of her and she was gagged with white tape. The caption read, "Don't go to extremes to stick to your diet!", or something to that effect. Apparently, the ad was exhorting some diet that was easy to adhere to. Does anyone recall this ad, and does anyone have an image they could perhaps post on this message board? |

Very little in the way of bondage - I just added a DB entry for it. At one point, someone has her arms tied, separately, hanging up to two separate loose fuzzy "ropes" while standing. |

That's all there is. It's a compendium of brief stories about twins (men and women) that hate and/or kill each other. It does include a paragraph about the famous "evil twin" story (one sister tried to have the other killed to steal her identity-- got covered quite a bit here back before "true life" stuff was ruled off topic), and I think the picture's vaguely supposed to represent that (though it has nothing to do with the actual case, since the sisters were Oriental, and in fact it was hired thugs who did the B&G, not the "evil" twin). I'd be curious to know the source of the image, though. Might try to see if some of my comics acquaintances know. |

New caps and clips from Sharpe's Honour, White Collar Blue, and Pacific Blue in the usual location. (These are all pretty short, but I'm working on some longer ones...) |

Anyway, it evidently actually was drawn to illustrate the "evil twin" case for the magazine (guess he didn't know much about the case). My guess is that a scan of the print version will look better. |

2004 "24" comic |
This week, a one-shot comic based on the "24" TV series comes
out. The preview image linked here shows the female terrorist that Jack Bauer
has to protect in wrist cuffs with what appear to be waist shackles.
Decent pic, but I'd say it's unlikely we'll get more than that in a 32-page comic. For completists. |

Starts at 9 each nite here locally. In my local paper today, the tv critic just savaged it, but one of the things she complained about was all the cliches it incorporated, and the first one she mentioned it was trying to be was a "damsel in distress film". Not a clue if there will be anything to that or not, but with the handgag pic as evidence (thats the hero doing the grabbing), it may be worth keeping an eye on. One nice thing, being Scifi, it will probably be repeated more than once. |
