I guess I will have to answer my OWN question then (after having sat through the whole thing!) For those of you who have not seen it yet, the scenes are in the last half hour. Start recording when the male and female FBI agents are talking to the jeweler outside his store.

First, there is a closeup shot of Roxann Dawson's tapegagged face when the crook is on the phone with the lead FBI agent. Then there is a flashback of the kidnapping with the two women (mother and teenage daughter) bound and tapegagged in a boat and then placed in the back of a van. Then there is a commercial. They are next shown after the FBI agents capture the crooks (after the lead FBI agent says "C'mon, let's get this putz out of here.") They are bound hands overhead and tapegagged.

Funny to see Chloe described as obscure and Kate Beckinsale treated as a household name in the space of a few postings. The two were co-leads in "The Last Days of Disco" (1998) and obviously have had a divergence of fortunes since then.

But where's this cap from? Any thoughts on whether there might be some better shots in the scene?

Jessica Simpson is Daisy Duke
Well, it's official. She's got the part in the upcoming big movie. So, how about a ballgag for her? Of course they'll need a Basketballgag to do the task right.

Got it from her site -
http://www.chloesevigny.com/chloe_pictures/what_the_butler_saw_bed.jpg

TIP : When I know of a good DID scene in a play then I just pop the title of that play into a search engine (sites or images) and then whizz thru all the links.
You gotta have a bit of time on your hands to do this, but sometimes it's worth the chase!

Look and Read
This scene is one of my earliest memories.
I'm sure the title was 'Look and Read' and it was a children's schools programme on in the UK in the mid to late 70's.
The plot of this particular story was about sheep-stealers/rustlers which resulted in one of the feamale lead characters being bound hand and foot with rope and gagged with white cloth (possibly a handkerchief) wearing a blue denim skirt and blue checked blouse.
She really wriggled about and mmmphhed a lot!!!
AND with it being a schools 'look and read' programme, the words bound and gagged were printed on the screen letter by letter as the announcer read them out for us to repeat - classic!
I've searched the database and had no luck so if anyone else remembers it or even has it on tape (that would be fantastic!) then let me know.

Patrice Camhi in "Zorro" when she was tied up along with half the rest of the cast w/ the dynamite. She had several nice scenes looking right into the camera.

So is anything happening to Skye on General Hospital since she got free from her bonds?

Also, what was the deal on The Division from this past Sunday? Did it come thru with a scene? Seems like there was talk of one but then it petered out.

Re: Looking Straight at the Camera
There was a nice straight ahead shot in Lone Star State of Mind when Jamie King looked directly into the camera and also did some gag talk....."Help me".

As far as I recall that series was a putzfest except for four brief DinD scenes (even two of those with putzes).

A Tale Of Two Cities
This is the first ever DID scene I experienced (even before my 'Look and Read' post earlier) when I was aged about 8 in Junior school!
It was a life-changing experience.

Check my database entry #9259

I've uploaded it for all to enjoy at http://www.angelfire.com/hero/damsel_did/a_tale_of_two_cities.mpg

It should automatically prompt you to save to disc.

This is a total BS comment, Tapemaster. Myself and countless others give scene times most of the time. Just because no one was online to answer at midnight...tough. Record the hour show, find the scenes and transfer them to another tape. No one makes you sit through the whole thing. FYI, the scene times were listed at midnight in a Yahoo group that you belong to, so if you just searched a little you woulda found the answer without the sarcastic comments.

Marburger - Bondage Fantasies
Alan Marburger's book "Bondage Fantasies in Popular Entertainment" has been mentioned on these pages a time or two.

For those who have never heard of it, the book was published in 1980, and is a compendium of all the bondage scenes that the author and his assitants were able to remember. Divided into movie and television sections, the book served as a sort of pre-Brian's Page 'scene database', giving a brief description of each occurance.

Unfortunately, as in all things printed, this work contains errors, and, more importantly, omissions. For example, most of the television scenes do not have the episode number/title. This is a minor quibble since such information was not as readily available pre-internet.

Of course since this book was printed a LOT more information about scenes of interest to us has been published - mainly on the internet.

My question is this: Has anyone taken Marburger's book and:

1)attempted an update? - this would require the author's permission, and I am not even aware if he is alive or how to reach him if he is.

2)verified the scene information in the book?

3)made sure that Brian's database contains the (correct) listings in the book?

"Bondage Fanatsies" was an invaluable resource 20 years ago, and can be an important source now.

Hate to tell you this Richie but the Look and Read progs, including Joe and the Sheep Rustlers were shown earlier this year on CBBC.

Click the link for more, maybe you'll find someone out there with the ep on tape.

Thanks for the link - and it shows that it did happen as I remember!
I downloaded the PDF doc and it had this picture in it...

http://www.angelfire.com/hero/damsel_did/joeandsheeprustlers.jpg

The only thing is, I don't remember the damsel being quite as old as the picture shows :(

I'll put it into the database if no one else beats me to it and I will DEFINITELY have to keep an eye out for it because I haven't seen that scene for nearly 30 years!!!

cheers for that anon.

Allen Marburger later published "Scene Screen and Dream: Films and Videos 1975 - 1992 Volume I: A-K" in 1993; and Volume II: L-Q" in 1995 (as noted in Bondage Life's "Bound for Hollywood" column).

Remember it well. Actually saw it IN school. Wonder if my classmates noticed I was giving it my full attention <WEG>.

Another classic "educational" series that featured on heck of a scene was BBC1's Jigsaw which one week had gag as the mystery word. The main lead went round gagging the entire cast. This SADLY included Sylvester McCoy (YUK my fave Doctor...But I DON'T wanna see him in bondage!). Thanfully his co-host and one other member of the cast was female and they got the same 8-).

Is "Scene Screen..." a book, or a series of articles in Bondage Life? I can't locate it on the book search sites or the Library of Congress search engine...

Perhaps they could be classified as Pamphlets, rather than as a true paperback book (unlike "Bondage Fantasies").

Ok, let's cool down now. I know we earlier time zone

think TM was really trying to be nasty about it.

Stargate SG-1 Spoilers
Just a reminder for everyone (as the earth rolls round the sun & July 9th draws ever nigh) that SAMANTHA CARTER (Amanda Tapping) is scheduled to be tortured by the Replicators in the opening episode of Season Eight ("New Order, Parts 1 & 2.") No pics or relevant details have surfaced (yet), but my bet is some sort of restraint will almost certainly *have* to be involved. It's a lot to ask of a damsel like SAM for her to lie still through an extended gloating scene without *some* form of restraint. (Let's just hope force fields aren't involved.)

*AND*... Breaking news: In Episode Nine ("Sacrifices"), the Jaffa amazon ISHTA (Jolene Blalock) will be back, & she'll be captured & tortured by the Goa'uld System Lord Moloc.

Right, I wasn't trying to be nasty. I WAS annoyed at the time that no one had anything to say about it AT ALL. Since I can't stand this show, I really didn't want to sit through the whole thing. I had 50 minutes left on a tape, not a full hour, so I couldn't record the whole thing. An alert on a Yahoo group said that they were bound and gagged throughout the whole hour. So, I had no option but to watch the whole thing. However, the bondage footage did not actually start until after the halfway point. I apologize if I sounded like a jerk.

Long lost scene
Wow, here's a scene I thought was lost forever. I saw this Josie Bisset "Rock the Vote" ad on MTV waaay back in '92 (Jeez, Bush Sr. was president then). I only saw it one time, although I watched MTV constantly trying to catch it again. It was one of those big surprise scenes for me. A 12 year search is finally over. Many thanks, Kerhop! Check it out at the link below.

OK, it was the caps on OWN that threw me for a loop. I realize these shows are annoying, and I never would have thought you could just have 50 minutes left on a tape. But by recording most of the show, you would have gotten Poppy in the cool, light-colored shades.
