Just a quick update. The trailer has hit theatres this week. It doesn't show anything beyond the pictures we have already seen. If Jessica is a part, then they don't show her at all.
Maybe the film will pan out. There is a shot where Kim has a belt around her neck, but nothing else |

Just got this at the vid store a couple of days ago, and got around to watching it. It wasn't as strong on the bondage as I had hoped it would be, but what a great story. It was as if William Gibson decided to write The Story of O -- his way. This one's a keeper. The only problem is, it was a little too atmospheric and murky in that French indie film kinda way. It would be great if a U.S. firm picked up on it and remade it with a tighter knit storyline and more explicit bondage. Still ... a great watch. Might be a candidate for the bondage canon.

Friday May 28 09:28:00 2004 Why has no one done Slavegirl Leia |
One area where I think current filmmakers have really missed the boat is the whole Slavegirl Leia. I'm sure we all remember the episode of Friends where it was set forth that Slavegirl Leia was every guy's fantasy. So the obvious thing to do, if you're a filmmaker, is make a movie about a princess who falls in love with a ruffian but can't express her love because of the highly restricted life she's led as a princess, then gets captured by bad guys and used as their sex slave, and then after some heroic adventures, gets back together with the ruffian where she's able to put all her slavegirl experiences to VERY good use.
Easy as pie, and yet no one has even tried it that I know of. |

Easy as pie, and yet no one has even tried it that I know of. ---- I'm guessing it's been done *Numerous* times -- but all by porn filmmakers (who affixed their usual horrifically punny titles), but just not yet by mainstream filmamkers. I could see the similar storyline in the Grove Press Victorian novel "Lady Beth" adapted for a mainstream film. Especially because the captured-by-desert-nomads Lady Beth received training from a top fencing instructor, learned her lessons well, and has to make use of it in a couple of sword-fighting scenes. At the end of the tale, she meets her soul-mate in the young Sayyid, who figures out that she prefers "rough sex" -- because "You were first taken with violence, *had* with violence, and you experienced your first transports of lust with violence, and you will always like it... But come now to bed , and we will act as lovers, rather than as captor and captive." |

Friday May 28 15:12:05 2004 General Hospital Alert |
In the first ten minutes of today's General Hospital, during an interaction with Luke and Skye, Luke convinces Skye to stay behind (he escaped from jail for a crime his wife could have committed) and rips off a piece of duct tape, which Skye uses to gag herself.
There may or may not be a little bit more to the scene, as the police tell the DA that they've picked up Skye before the first commercial break. Episode should replay tonight on SoapNET. |

Friday May 28 15:15:12 2004 Emmy Rossum |
Emmy Rossum has been cast in the Joel Shumacher remake of The Phantom of the Opera. For those that don't know, she is currently starring in The Day After Tomorrow. There could be a scene in it for her. |

One review says 'So they've kidnapped, at tremendous expositional length enhanced by music cues that a Sunday night revival of TV's Hunter would be ashamed to use, the movie star'. Lengthy kidnapping scenes can be a great if a B&G aspect is involved. |
