An unassuming British comedy is chugging along, then... A sexy blonde "princess" is on display disguised as a model for bondage gear: having been stripped down to a black leather bikini, chained spreadeagle in a mass of leather restraints and straps, and writhing and mmphing desperately through her tight OTM gag! Something one might've expected from something like a Playboy Channel or Skinimax, if they were better dialed in to our interests. |

Any clips or caps from this scene where Kam Heskin is bound and gagged with duct tape? |

All that would entail would be changing the premise of the movie, and re-writing the script's beginning, middle, and ending. Remember Van's "First Law of TV/Movies": ... It's all about the *Story*. |

I knew THAT scene was from "Whoops Apocalypse". I was thinking of the another scene posted in the recent past that showed (I think) a blonde hottie flanked by a guy on either side (both untied, all 3 just standing there if I recall) & the woman definitely appeared bit-gagged. I guess I didn't look at the picture close enough (the one above, from "Whoops Apocalypse", I think I assumed it was from the other movie). Anyway, did anyone figure out what the other movie (bit-gagged blonde with the untied guy on either side) was or who the actress is? |

The kid putz could get away while at the hideout and the villains take Basinger anyway. Later Biel would be captured and tied up with Kim. |

Friday May 07 18:28:02 2004 Van Helsing??? |
Anyone know if there's anything in Van Helsing? I've been waiting so long for Kate "bend it like" Beckinsale to get some full treatment for some time now. Plus, in one review I read the critic describes her character as heroine/damsel. Hmmm...very interesting but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Friday May 07 20:36:19 2004 Great to see that snippet... |
...of Joanne Pearce in "Whoops Apocalypse" once more. One of my first satellite-dish captures, and one of the all-time great comic scenes in my view. Too bad that, given what happened to the real-life celebrity she was parodying in that movie, it hardly ever shows up on TV anymore. Seems like Comedy Central was going to wear out their print of it some years back; they ran it so much.
And if the following is a subject better suited to the Anything Goes page, my apologies in advance, but I think the site owner ought to know that there's at least one public library system whose patrons can't browse here anymore from that library's branches-thanks to congressman Ernest Istook and his cronies, with a little help from the Supreme Court last summer. Seems the library's new Istook Act-mandated filter thinks the content here is-drum roll, please-pornography! Just wanted to let the Big Guy know, in case he's inclined to make an issue of it with the filter vendor(s). (If you are, B.R., from the looks of the block message, I'd guess they're running Websense.) Dunno...tain't a lawyer, but that sure sounds like defamation to me. |

Friday May 07 20:41:11 2004 Lisa Guerrero |
Does anyone have vidcaps from the soap opera Sunset Beach where Lisa Guerrero (aka Lisa Coles) is bound and gagged?
Yes, I am talking about THAT Lisa Guerrero (from Monday Night Football and the Best Damn Sports Show.) |

Friday May 07 20:48:45 2004 Great Scene...Bad Editing |
I was thinking about one of my favorite scenes of all time today:
Record number: 2347 Title: Zorro (1957) Medium: TV Series Actress: Joan Evans Description: Episode: "Invitation To Death" Part 4, aka "Long Live the Governor" (2.36) Leonar, the governor's daughter, is grabbed and handgagged by assassins, then bound and cleave-gagged with a thin white knotted cloth on the De La Vega's patio, where the governor is staying (at the "hacienda", not in the patio). Her wrists are tied behind her and one of the bad guys' sash pinions her arms to her sides. She is shown in a series of short cuts as actions cuts between the inside of the house and the patio. What the DB description misses is that not only is Joan Evans a hottie, but also packing is actually stuffed into her mouth...off-screen. Close viewing reveals that after Ms. Evans is hand-gagged and the bad guy orders his cronies to "gag her," the henchman takes out a cloth to do the deed and is handed another cloth to stuff in her mouth. It's a BIG wad of cloth, too! Then CUT! dammit, to the chief bad guy, who gives a little speech while we hear exquisite mmmppffing off-screen. When it cuts back to the damsel, one henchman has just finished stuffing her mouth while another ties a cleave gag into place over the packing. But you can still see the packing sticking out. As I said, great scene, bad editing. Surely there are other frustrating scenes like this out there, but this is especially frustrating because they made the extra effort with the gag vis-a-vis the packing, and didn't even show it on-screen! What gives?!? Just a thought from someone who has had little to post about these days. |

> Remember Van's "First Law of TV/Movies": ...
> It's all about the *Story*. Right, but Jessica Biel is coming off a huge disappointment (Texas CM). Born in 82, 11 films to date, 2 more coming out this year (Blade 2 among them), and so far no scenes... suck. And while I'm bitching, my other "has to have a scene before I die" (or she gets too old), Jennifer Connelly, born 1970, 25 films to date, no scenes (close twice, Rocketeer and Creepers)... double suck. I'd trade the next 100 good scenes with anyone for one great one with one of those two... I really would. |
