THE DIVISION
While checking the above website via the above post I noticed that a number of the upcoming episodes have possible bondage scenarios, including one in which one of the characters named Raina is abducted.

Thanks for the link. It is hard to see (even when pausing it) but the damsel looks quite attractive.

Not much more shown in the episode than in the preview. Would like to see the original episode mentioned yesterday. Several of the females were hotties.

Smallville...
...did rack up another scene for Lana tonight. (No gag, of course.) I wasn't expecting anything since the previews showed her locked in a room, but after breaking out the friend ties her to the bed.

Yes, hear, hear! I second the motion.

I really hope this silences those negative nellies who've complained "that she's aged," or "she's not as hot as she used to be," and all those others not recognizing her obvious charms.

She IS hot, and Playboy wouldn't publish her, as the COVER GIRL no less, if she wasn't appealing to a large group of gentlemen.

But lest those of you who disagree with me continue to . . . Hmmm, let me think, should I agree with Van, Playboy, and my own visceral reaction when looking at her, or those anonymous souls in bondageland who don't like Charisma Carpenter for whatever idiosyncratic personal reason, hmmmmm . . .

Does anyone know the title of this movie?
I once saw a preview for a movie starring Kenneth Branagh, with a scene in which he is frolicking in bed with an attractive woman. What was intriguin about this scene was that she was bound and gagged; I don;t recall how her hands were secured, but she had a thick cleave-gag in her mouth, through which she exhibited a gleeful expression. Someone had just discovered them in bed together.
Does anyone know the title of this movie?

I love CC, but you can't use the Playboy thing as any indicator of whether she's still an uber-babe or not. With their makeup artists, lighting experts, and air-brushing, they could make anyone this side of Janet Reno a hottie.

Personally, I think she's the closest thing I've seen to a natural WW body type among the actresses and and models I've seen in the last few years. However, that doesn't mean there's not some gorgeous 5' 10" or taller, busty, 20-year-old brunette out there with the acting chops to pull it off.

Charisma is hot and she has given us two great cleave gag scenes on Angel. I think she would look great with one of a black cloth cleave gag similar to the ones that Lynda Carter wore.

Another woman that would be great for this role and has been missing from a full treatment scene for a while is Jessica Alba!

To be fair, there was a period on *Angel*, towards the end of Cordy's role, when Charisma looked... (how to put this delicately) ...plumpish? Her cheeks were full (*overly* full) & they dressed her in tent-like outfits. At the same time, there were rumors flying that CC was a notorious party girl: up all night, dancing, drinking, not going to church, etc. Whatever the truth of things, & whatever it had to do with the demise of Cordey... CHARISMA'S BACK!!! Lay your hands on a copy of Playboy if you're a doubter. And unless the airbrush is full of Magic Pixie Dust, it's *not* special effects!

According to everything I've read, the new WW movie is going to be "light" (as opposed to the X-Men films, which were "heavy.") One more reason why Charisma would be perfect for the role, and (in my mind) more reason to expect *fun* DiD-ishness (I hope.) Fingers crossed!!! :-)

Was her weight in the last series of Angel not because she was pregnant in real life?

Anyway, I think she'd be a great Wonder Woman but I have my doubts as to whether the movie will provide a lot - if anything. I know that Lynda Carter was bound and gagged a few times but the difference of her being in a television series where often the type of peril results from a lack of budget. The fact that in the past WW's Kryptonite was her magic lasoo and her inability to escape if bound by man (I don't know if that's still the case) might fall victim to revisionist script writing is also worth considering.

It's a damned shame but I have my doubts as to whether many of the comic book adaptations will provide much for the superheroines. I'd love to see Charlize Theron in tight blue spandex struggling against some futuristic bonds as Sue Storm. I'd have loved to have seen Michelle in bondage in Batman Returns but I doubt it will happen.

As someone who doesn't read too many comic books these days I'm not sure how often superheroines actually get put into bondage in print these days.

However - we can dream.

Eh???

Ooops! My bad! (Sorry Charisma!) :-}

"Comics" are getting new respect in Hollywood, for the only reason that counts: Comic-based movies are making money.

Those of us who read comics/graphic novels know there is no one "theme" or "way" or "attitude" attached to the medium. There's no reason a production team has to do anything comic-based in any way other than whatever their collective muse tells them to do.

The ideal WW movie would go back to the roots of the legend. I can easily see a feminist/empowered WW character who *still* runs into problems with her lasso & winds up in classic DiD situations. The lasso is WW's kryptonite.

The hero always has a journey to make (if I might wax Joseph W. Campbell-ish for a moment), and overcoming adversity is the point of the exercise. Walker-Texas-Ranger always get the crap beat out of him before he summon his inner-Hero & opens a can of whoop-ass. So, can WW be bound & gagged, placed in a death trap, gloated over by a villain or villainess, abandoned to a horrible fate... *then* escape & open a can of whoop-ass? OF COURSE SHE CAN!!! The Bride did it in "Kill Bill" (which was spectacularly ironic since rumor has it Uma Thurman's bone-head attitude about DiD's was what torpedoed key scenes in the "Avengers" movie.)

Anyhoo... I like Charisma, I like WW, & I hope the production team hires her for the role & doesn't screw things up. I'm done! :-)
